The za'atar dip and red pepper hummus.

So plenty of my friends have been coming to this place and finally I gave in and had to check it out today. I was literally right next door to it at the Bexley Coffee Shop so it was a great excuse to stop by here and see what they have. This natural market sells many things from local vendors like Dan's Bakery, Boline Apothecary, Pattycake Bakery, etc. This co-op definitely has many choices but the prices aren't the best. Although you are getting the best in quality of products so take that into consideration when you're here and making your own judgement as well. Dan's Bakery comes in Monday's and Friday's to deliver his fresh made breads to the store. Some of the others are sent to the store. I know I was looking for a peppermint essential oil but I really couldn't find this brand I wanted so I didn't get it but definitely got the same spreads I had at the elite event last night like the roasted red bell pepper hummus from Darista. If you want to get a good sample of this, the Giant Eagle Market District in Grandview Yard will have it on May 29 at 6 PM for you to enjoy. Onto the store, it's quite small but each section is broken from the oils, vitamins to the freezer and fresh vegetable area. I could spend a whole paycheck here but I know my limits and only buy what I really need. Definitely will be back soon for the things I only desperately need!

Super cute, grass backdrop with yellow and white balloons. Staff was very nice and helpful. Long counter/bar space. I've been to quite a few of these Herbal Life chains, I was hoping this wasn't the same only because was wanted a local, fruit based shop but either way, it's a healthy alternative and in a good location. Once I figured out it was Herbal Life, I knew what flavors i liked already. Cookies and Cream and Banana Carmel are my goto. I will say the difference between this place and the others I've been to are how they choose to premix their aloe and tea together and they serve the tea only cold(from what I've seen) n a large cup.Other places you can can take aloe shot solo or in a small portion cup with warm or cold tea and it's usually taken before the meal replacement shake. They have add ins like immune boosters and metabolism boosters. Coffee options too that I've yet to try at any location. Price: This is definitely on the more expensive side. The shake and tea combo is $11. The place on Main near Hamilton I used to frequent is $7 for all 3 and included a free workout class. With that, I can't commit to visiting as often as I'd hope to. Cute little plastic face seals in the cup, nice touch. I'll definitely visit again but a daily price of $12 is a little too much. I didn't inquire about membership at all. Of course if you choose to buy the shakes and make them at home it's a lot more affordable.

The bins range from small to large and can be filled with fruits, vegetables, and grocery items. I opted for the small fruit and vegetable bin. For $35 I get to pick what produce goes into the bin plus add additional grocery items like eggs, milk, grains, cheese, beverages, etc. I chose to have my bins delivered every other week since it can get pricey and I alone can't finish off an entire bin in a week's time. The goods come delivered in a sturdy plastic bin with a cooling block to keep your produce cold. The produce always looks super fresh and delicious. I've never received a bruised looking item. Getting produce from Green Bean Delivery has single handedly caused me to eat healthier and cook more. It has encouraged me to be more creative and cook vegetables I have never tried before. Supporting local farmers is also a plus. Their customer service is also pretty excellent. I ordered some Snowville Milk once and found the milk carton to be leaking. I notified them via email and they immediately responded and gave me the option of including a free milk for the next bin, or a credit. I love love Green Bean Delivery and look forward to my bins!

I was looking for an easy and affordable way to eat more organic and local food. I don't have time or interest in going to local farmers markets to get my groceries. I love that you can very clearly choose your organic items and they're always adding more. Anytime I've had an issue, like a broken egg, they just give you credit or replace the item. They're timely, kind, and deliver high quality goods. I'm about it. Thanks Green Bean.

As we walked up the stairs, we exchanged greetings with another shopper (a white female). When we reached the top of the stairs, we turned left towards the bar/liquor store. A white woman who worked there was sitting at the bar reading a newspaper. She looked up over her glasses and, in a very abrupt and accusatory tone, said, "CAN I HELP YOU?" My husband instantly turned around and walked away in disappointment. I responded, "Hello, we're just looking," and followed him. While in the adjacent wine section, I told my husband, "She was kind of rude." He replied, "That's exactly why I walked away. We'll get some wine and pay downstairs." Now, stay with me for a moment. The area was well-lit, and there was a glass divider separating the two rooms. While I was considering my options for a red blend near the back wall my husband looked at the white wines. In a more welcoming tone, the same woman who had been sitting at the bar addressed another shopper (a white male) in a very welcoming and charismatic voice, saying, "Hi, how are you? What can I help you with?" as she walked over to him with a smile. I instantly recognized the difference in her demeanor. Even my husband noted, "She didn't talk to us like that." We then proceeded downstairs to the customer service desk. My husband felt I shouldn't share my concerns because this behavior happens daily, and he believed nothing would change. However, I decided to speak with the manager, Sabrina, who kindly listened to my experience. Sabrina responded by saying "Well, I've never had anyone else complain about her as an associate and repeated it to me twice before saying, but I'll look at it." That was not the response I was hoping for; an apology would have been welcomed. However, I honestly do not know what I expected. I do not want the associate to lose her job or anything crazy, but her attitude toward us was crazy and offensive. Should she be educated? Yes, absolutely. Had the roles been reversed, I would have likely been fired, handcuffed by an all-white group of Bexley Police officers, and charged with assault and misconduct of some magnitude. Or I could have reacted in the same way as the associate, inappropriate, disrespectful, and racist, and I still would have been arrested in the same manner mentioned above. I'm so sick and tired of the racism and hostility. My husband and I are educated, working-class humans who respect others and deserve to be treated equally, just like every other customer, no matter what we look like or how we identify. We may be only two of many shoppers, but I will not be returning to the store at all. I am disappointed. Hatred, blatant racism, and unconscious bias that equates to racism are all wrong.
