I went to this store and made a $153.68 purchase, I asked for an additional calendar, but I was denied. I saw a lady who made a $25.15 purchase, when she asked to get a calendar, she was denied, because she didn't make a $30 purchase. I went to CAM International Market, and made a $15.34 purchase, the cashier asked me, "Do you what calendar?" I said "how many can I have?" She said: "you can have whatever you want. We had a completely pleasant, straightforward experience at Park to Shop. We arrived with a shopping list and were able to locate everything on that list. Wide aisles, good lighting, and mostly clear labeling made our visit a breeze. Great selection of fresh produce and fruits, packaged items, as well as meat. Prices fair and plentiful parking. Well lit, clean store. I did notice a couple moldy kumquats in a package, but I've seen the same at other groceries and I think it can happen anywhere. Shelves are well labeled, products are priced reasonably to well, I have several options for Japanese curry, and I was able to locate everything on my shopping list except vegetarian mushroom oyster sauce. I prefer it to the very large international market on Morse (which I also shop regularly). The checkout person was efficient but did not seem friendly - I don't mind, but I'm noting it for those who care. I was at a 4 until I ate one of the prepared bao buns (roast pork) that I purchased. It's seriously good and well priced, which is enough for an extra star. I would be back anyway, but I will be back a lot more quickly for the pork buns and to try the other flavors (Chinese sausage and at least one more). read more

I just want to mention something that customers should be aware of. They had steamed barbecue pork buns in the past, then they no longer had them. Recently they reappeared, though in a package of 4 instead of 6. However my conclusion is that the filling is colored ground pork (mostly if not 100%}, not real barbecue pork. This is a great place to shop if you love Chinese food (or really most Asian foods). This is our go to place when we are in the mood to cook hot pot. They have a great selection of vegetables, fresh and frozen meats, fish, rice, dumplings, tofu, etc., as well as sauces and herbs. The freezer section is quite extensive. The first visit may seem a bit chaotic, but you learn the system soon enough :). In addition to food, they also sell other items, e.g., I bought a high-end rice cooker from this store. If you're in the mood for a snack or lunch, they have a place close to the registers where you can order food. The few items we've eaten there have been really good. read more

I've gotten the sliced beef twice, the first time it tasted weird, when I cooked it the oil from the beef also smelled very bad. But I gave it another try and bought it again, same thing. I basically perused the aisles just checking out what's to offer. I did recognize many of the sweets and candies (got many things when I was in China last year), so I got a few fruit chews. This store had a pretty snazzy produce selection. Holy cow, talk about mushrooms! I was totally taken back when I noticed lotus roots - I just had an Indian dish with tofu and this root, last night. Saw on Yelp that this new Asian grocery store opened, so I went shopping here about a week ago. I believe the building that they're in used to be a Hobby Lobby. They seem to have a pretty good selection of well organized Asian grocery as well as fresh veggies, meat, and fish. Based on photos it looks like they have a deli section too where they sell roast duck? I went in the morning around 10am though and that area was closed/empty. Their pricing seems to be on par with CAM on Bethel. What surprised me is that they don't sell alcohol of any type. I like to grab exotic-ish beers when I go to ethnic supermarkets like this, so that was a bummer. All in all though, I don't know if this store really differentiates itself that well from CAM. Well, I guess the one thing that's different is that traffic around Park to Shop (161 & Sawmill) is considerably worse than around CAM (Bethel & Olentangy River Rd). read more

After finding out this pace opened on Yelp, I decided to stop by to see how this new Asian Market compares to CAM and others. The layout of the space is very similar to CAM, although it is shaped more like a rectangle (the aisles are longer compared to CAM). Maybe it's because they just opened, I find the whole store to be slightly more organized and cleaner, and I agree with other reviewers that the whole market is very bright. The veggie and fruit section is well stocked with lots of varieties. By the end there is even some fresh raw noodle products (not the deep fried kind), which I will surly buy some next time. I am also delighted to find the seasoning aisle with everything I need, they also have a good selection of brands for the same type of seasoning. The butcher is located at the back of the store, with similar display like CAM. The service was great, it was a slow Monday night and the butcher patiently helped me with all the little demands I had. I would say their meat is decent, it seems pretty fresh to me. (btw I don't know if anywhere else sells rabbits, but it's surprisingly an option here in the cooler). I did not check the other sections very well, the cookware section seems to offer a bit less varieties compared to CAM, but it's decent. The frozen food freezer seems to offer similar products compared to other Asian markets. Overall, I'm glad to have a new Asian market open at Columbus, it's a decent place to be added to my grocery shopping options. read more

I bought the noodles today and the noodles had expired and had a bad smell, so I went to the store to ask for a change, but the staff and the manager spoke poorly and made a frustrating expression to me. When I talked to the manager, I could change the noodles, but when I was about to walk out of the restaurant. The manager says "Don't put the noodles in the microwave again." But the top of the noodle bag says I can put it in the microwave for 3 minutes and I do the same on the bag. read more

I had previously been to their location in Cleveland and was not at all impressed by their offerings (lots of expired packaged groceries), but after a lengthy tour of most of Columbus' Asian markets in search of inexpensive ceramics, I ended up here. It's in one of the many shopping centers that surround the Sawmill/161 intersection, and it took me a minute to figure out where exactly to go (the front is a lot smaller than I was expecting). I was there too early in the morning to see what the deli offerings looked like, but I was happy to see that there was a decent array of ceramics, and found bowls and cups in the colors and sizes I needed (for only $0.99-1.29 each)! I won't be driving all the way out here for everyday grocery shopping, but if you can't find the ceramics you need at CAM or Saraga, check this place out! read more

Never again will I go back. My first experience was buying "fresh mangosteen fruit" but it was obviously rotten before previously frozen. Customer service was atrocious when returning $58.00 worth of non- edible fruits! I went back because it's convenient and I was pretty much buying dry foods. Today I was craving ballut. Weird name... wonderful store! Park To Shop is a small Asian grocery chain with other locations in Detroit and Cleveland, and although they specialize in Chinese goods, they represent the whole continent well. I really love this store. Here are the standouts for me: +Absolutely gorgeous produce. None of that shady looking stuff you sometimes find at Saraga. The prices on produce were great too. +They have a lot of truly unique items that you don't find everywhere (e.g. balut, duck eggs, etc.). +Their meats and seafood looked extremely fresh; I didn't try any this time, but I totally would. +The store in insanely well organized. It's huge, bright, colorful, and thoughtfully laid out. +The porcelain selection here is beautiful! Sometimes I think this is an afterthought at other markets, but not here... really fantastic pieces at good prices. +The people are lovely and very helpful! +Their taste in music is excellent! This seems to be part of a chain, or at least they really have things together with employee uniforms and signage. It is a pretty typical Asian grocery- clean, organized if you have some idea what you're looking for. Still no woks- weird that Asian markets don't have woks. Anyway, the selection is pretty good in all the categories I looked at. I didn't get any produce or meat, but a quick glance showed those sections are pretty good too. HI, On April 8th 2021 me and my daughter decided to go to Park to Shop grocery store off of sawmill rd. My experience was really bad. When we were trying to buy vegetables the cleaning guy with his cleaning machine started beeping at us to move. When we moved he was saying stuff in his language which made us feel like he was cursing in his language. After that I was looking for vegetable base Instant noodle. which I couldn't find. I tried to look for someone to help us but people who were working there couldn't speak english. When we went to check out I asked the lady is there anyone who can help us she said no. I asked her can you help us she said no. After done checking out my daughter and I was about to leave the stor. one lady said we can't take plastic cart outside. She said move your items to metal cart then take it out. My daughter just had surgery done she is not able to move things and I have RA arthrities in my hands I couldn't move things over and over. I asked her to call a manage. she point me to one lady. As soon she came out and I said excuse me I need to talk to you she started using her phone and start ignoring us. This is my absolute favorite Asian Market in the area. I've shopped them all at this point and this establishment has such an amazing variety of foods and a nice, neat, organized layout. There have been many times I've had to make a trip to multiple markets to find all of the items I need, but not when shopping here. I know they just opened up and hopefully just getting the kinks worked out but a couple of caution, please make sure you read their refund policy especially on food items. I purchased some items that a few weeks ago probably was good but it started to get hard and loose it's moisture so it's a very dry cake/bread. You have to return within 2 hours or else your out of luck and the food is not cheap. Just be cautious and know what you will get into. This place opened earlier this year, and I thought it would be a great place to shop for asian food stuffs since it's a lot closer to my house than CAM is. However, we were quite disappointed when we found out that their products are not up to par. We aren't expecting Whole Foods quality, but a lot of the vegetables and fruit are not fresh. This alone wouldn't ding this place down to 1 star, but like another review had hinted at, the employee's here do not know what customer service is. We come by here instead of CAM only if we need some small things, like for cooking oil or instant noodles. Recently, we stopped by to pick up some ramen. Turns out that these ramen are past the expiration date by a few weeks. Okay, so someone forgot to take these off the shelf. We usually don't keep receipts on small purchases, so we went back expecting an exchange or store credit. Upon returning to the store a few days later, we took careful attention to scan the expiration date on the same brand of noodles that come in packages of 6. Turns out their entire shelf was expired, some even months instead of weeks. After we let management know about this, instead of apologizing and offering something in return, they asked straight for our receipt and even had the nerve to tell us that they were going to charge us an extra 10% for store credit. When we told them that this was just a few days ago and that their product is sitting on the shelf with an expiration date months old, they tell us that it's our fault for not checking. Not only that, they are selling these expired products on purpose at a slight discount without warning. For the record, we did get the full store credit after some arguing but it was not a pleasant experience. Needless to say we won't be coming back. read more

Great place to get groceries, whether you're making Asian food or not. They have an extensive selection of fruit and vegetables at a good price. Best place to get ginger root and sauces. I looked for kejap manis everywhere in Columbus and this was the only place I could find it. They have two full aisles of sauces and seasons. I was excited to come here in the beginning, because this store looks very clean and organized inside. I do not think they bag groceries appropriately though. Whenever I go there my groceries are bagged improperly. My groceries are mixed all together (colds with non- colds, heavy with not heavy, etc.) I will put my groceries on the conveyor belt in an orderly fashion so they will be bagged properly, but they will still bag them improperly. I watched the ladies there look at me while I was putting my things on the conveyor belt orderly, but they still bagged them improperly. I have asked them in the past if I can bag my own groceries, but they act like they don't like it. I think they want to have control over things. I am not impressed with this place. I have been to several other Asian grocery stores and they have no problem bagging my groceries the way I want them to be bagged. This is the only Asian store where I encounter this. I also find the employees here to be unfriendly. In my opinion, they do not go out of there way to give good customer service. I think there prices are too high compared to some other Asian stores I have been to also. I will not come back here to shop anymore. I have given them three chances to prove me wrong, but it hasn't happened. My husband bought some mangoes here a few years ago also. The mangoes rotted and went bad very quickly.
