What a great Aldi. One of the nicest I have scene in the area. Also I really want to highlight this maybe the best Aisle of Shame (AOS) in the city. The store has a real modern, clean, and fresh look and feel. I just ran in to pick some things up while in the area but wouldn't mind coming back. The parking lot seemed a little small for the size of the store, and was difficult parking, but will have to check it out in better weather. read more

This is a lovely ALDI location! Located in the corner of a large shopping plaza in an stone building, it felt more spacious than other outposts with high ceilings and an abundance of natural light. When we arrived on a weekday morning, the store was bustling yet not overly crowded. Happy shoppers spanned the wide aisles to procure inexpensive yet quality goods. Everything was well-organized and stocked. Though we just came in for beverages (water and Gatorade to be specific), we couldn't help but browse and appreciate the refrigerated section including dairy and meats, produce area, as well as all the yummy looking treats in the freezer. Check-out was prompt and efficient. My gallon jug of water came out to $.75 and the large bottle of lemon-lime Gatorade was just over $1. Recommended! read more

Aldi is nice, once in awhile. Can't do all the shopping here because of the limited selection, but what they have is decent stuff, and there's enough that you can pick up a few necessities. Today we needed eggs and juice, and found them easily, at a good price. Also some candy, because mama, I mean Baby K, needed some. Produce selection is decent. Meat, dairy, etc., pretty good quality. The store is open and easy to navigate, and well organized. The experience as a whole, at this and all Aldis, is... tolerable. First, bring a quarter for a cart. And if you're like me and don't have any, you're screwed and have to carry all your stuff. Which, with a cane and a toddler, is frankly a pain in the ass. Next, bring bags. Which, if you're making a last-minute stop and don't have any, is also a pain in the ass. Last, be prepared to wait, because there will be one register open since they save money by having minimal staff, so everyone waits. That's for all Aldis. This one too, but it is no worse than others, and is decent if you have time, and bags, and quarters. Nice location on the border of Columbus and Westerville, near the highway. read more

Manager must not realize that the outside of the store impacts the neighborhood and the store's business. There is always trash in the parking lot, landscaping and on sidewalks. Entry area floor is filthy. The trash makes you feel like you're in the a bad area. read more

Grand opening of the new location is great but they need to work on the vegan selections. The building, atmosphere, customer service and produce department is 5 star. The options for vegans is one star. Pricing on just about everything in the store is a direct challenge to local competition. I was able to find a great deal on a cutting board and stainless steel measuring spoons. I was surprised to find toys and xmas items in stock and at fantastic prices. They were giving away the reusable bags and samples of cheese and meats. But they didn't have any vegan samples and their vegan selections were severely lacking (especially in the substitute meat and dairy products). All in all a great store that I will definitely shop at again. read more

Well dudes, it finally happened. I'm an Aldi convert. I have hated Aldi for basically my entire life because my parents used to shop there when we were kids, and one time they bought a can of corn there and it had worms in it and my dad was like 'oh just pick around them' and that left me traumatized. This new store is clean, relatively well organized, adequately staffed (and no automated check-out either; there are actual humans) and above all it is quite inexpensive. Mixed reviews about this place, very clean location and easy to get around, you really have to be good at time management to enjoy the experience here. You can't be in a hurry here to save money, because if you leave your cart I'm the parking lot, or forget to bring your bag, you might as well go to Kroger. What I mean by that for those that don't know you have to put in a quarter to get a shopping cart you get it back but you have to put it up also you have to pay for plastic bags the food selection is somewhat limited and she would get at a big-box store but you can get bulk items here at a reasonable cost things like bread and eggs are pretty much standard price across the board but all these is good for if you have a bunch of people to feed and you need to get a good amount of food four basic items their salsa is very good and they have reasonable customer service nothing out of this world their return policy is somewhat confusing though because they don't have a return desk you have to wait for the cashier to return the items I'm not even sure what their return policy is cuz it's not really posted anywhere not really sure what I feel about Aldi but if this helps someone here you go. read more

This locations is interesting. Its located in a plaza in Westerville that is not extremely well maintained. Its no secret that Aldi's sister store is trader joes. I was pleasantly surprised to see an array of organic and gluten-free products, including canned soups, cereals, baking products, produce, and dairy. Organic almond milk, refrigerated salsa, guacamole, a nice selection of imported wine, organic spring mix, and frozen organic strawberries Aldi is a gem of a grocery store and definitely worth checking out, especially if you haven't considered it previously read more

Had a great experience here today. Friendly staff and fellow customers. I don't mind bagging my own purchase. Hell, I'd rather do it myself anyway. Their cheese selection is above average without having a specialized area dedicated to it. Fruit and veggie selections are great and inexpensive. It is a good place to get specialty things in between staple trips. Flowers are usually fresh and priced well. Don't forget to bring a quarter! read more

All the great prices and decent variety you expect from ALDI and with awesome customer service. One clerk I talked to gave me a quarter for the cart, helped me find cooking oil (which I somehow missed in plain sight), and gifted me a reusable grocery bag when I told him I was new to the area. Great selection of food, has some name brand foods, love their Fit & Active Products and their Gluten Free Section is amazing. Their selection of fresh fruits/veggies and meats I will not buy. I go to Trader Joe's for those items. One thing I dread there is that they only ever seem to have one check out. Long lines are a bit annoying. read more

I always shop this location and have always been very pleased. Marsala and the Sunday crew are so nice and friendly. I decided to go today on Saturday rather than my normal Sunday and was very unhappy with a particular newer staff memeber. I had passed the strawberries and they were not in good condition- there were only a few cartoons left. I thought I would just get them at Kroger. A few minutes later I passed by a skid of fresh strawberries and was relieved. I picked up a carton and was stopped by an extremely rude woman. Tall with blonde very short hair that preceded to tell be she would rather I take strawberries from the floor stock. I told her the ones on the floor were not in good condition and I would prefer not to. She again was extremely rude and told me that she had just stocked it. The tone she had was very condescending and she made me feel very belittled. I did not know she had stocked. All she had to say was " oh I see you are looking for strawberries, I just stocked the floor with fresh ones...if you wouldn't mind, can you make your selection there." I would have been happy too! Now I am left with an uneasy feeling about going to a store that I love and enjoy shopping at. She treated me like I was shop lifting. Aldi need to do a better job at observing their new employees and their interactions with customers. I will go back to shopping g on Sunday's for sure and hope I will not encounter that nasty woman again! read more
