Small and quaint grocery with specialty foods. The market is just off Hamilton Road in a small Plaza with plenty of parking. The staff is helpful and there is an abundance of them on this fine Wednesday. Great looking produce to fresh baked breads to a butcher shop. They have a decent wine selection too. They have gluten free to organic. This market reminds me of a smaller version of Whole foods. On Wednesdays they have double ads running so you can maximize the savings. They are reasonably priced compared to the competition. I picked up a few fresh produces for tonight's dinner at home and grabbed some freshly made guacamole...yum!! The prepared section is worth browsing. I grabbed a seafood dip and a pasta salad that look scrumptious. Hope you enjoy this market as much as I did.

I bought a stack of soap at $2.99/each at full price.

BE CAREFUL! Signs posted, 25% off but didn't see the 7/29-8/5 part of the offer. I drove over specifically for the meatloaf they didn't have but did some shopping. Very disappointed in this type of deceptive promotion - again nice store but wear your asbestos underpants.

This was my first time in here. It's a cute little market. It wasn't as expensive as I was expecting. They have a salad bar and antipasto bar. You can also get pizza made to order. Their deli carries Boar's Head products. The staff was great. Everyone offered assistance. It reminds me of a Trader Joe's but a little bigger. Most products are made by Fresh Thyme. It's extremely clean throughout the entire store.

Took my hubby here today for the first time I've been here a few times . We found several vegan items since we've decided to go plant based we've tried several new stores we found a few goodies including donuts that are egg and dairy free some cookies and he found some coconut coffee he was excited to taste and buy. We will come back because they have several vegan products some are pricey compared to other stores but they have more variety in some other areas .

Great wine selection

This is a favorite stop for my wife. She loves this store and we stop every time we are in the area. They have a HUGE selection of items throughout the store and a ton of these items are exclusive to this store. The produce is very fresh and the selection is one of the best out there. They have a huge Bulk food section and their wine section is well stocked and has something for everyone. The staff is very courteous and very attentive to its customers' needs. Overall a great experience every time we go here.

During my visit today the store staff was extremely helpful. Michael the manager in the wine department helped me find the exact wine I was searching for. The store is clean with great coffee samples

Great produce selection. I only buy my bacon from them since I can get it in bulk. The fresh pressed juice is amazing.

Ask the Community - Fresh Thyme Market

Do they have a fresh pressed juice bar?

Yes, sort of, they have people pressing fresh juice behind a counter and a selection of bottled fresh-pressed juices in front of the counter, but I'm not sure if you can order something on demand. There's no signage indicating that and I've never…

It's the closest grocery to us, and we hardly ever go there, which says something. If we need one or two things real quick we will stop by. Otherwise, generally Meijer. GE is expensive, sometimes even more than Kroger. Their selection is spotty; fine in general, but not as big as some places. Lately they have gotten rid of plastic bags, and charged for paper ones, and especially not going often I never remember to grab a bag from the car. Also, since Covid, no shopping baskets. Super annoying. And I was ready to write a bad review for today's visit (or update to my previous one, which I distinctly remember writing.) High prices on the first things I got, no baskets, not looking forward to no bags at checkout. But, we needed shredded cheese, and it was on a good sale ($1 instead of $2.39,) so I gave them a break. Then there was no line, odd for a weekend. And the clerk was nice, and gave me a bag without asking (or charging.) So, pretty good experience all in all. Still not my first choice. I only come here as a last resort. But I will try to bring a bag next time, and give them a chance to surprise me with a sale.

The vegetables were limp lifeless, and all the lettuce was brown. I tried to buy some cilantro and parsley at this location and left without it because there was so much brown. Wilted leaves on the parsley that it was limp and falling over it was insane that they were actually trying to sell the cilantro for $1.99 a bunch whoever is in charge of produce needs to be talked to other than that the store was fine and I usually have a good experience at giant eagle but not today.. on the other hand the person that checked me out, I believe her name was ELLE. She was very sweet, helpful and very courteous to me as I was checking out with my groceries hats off to her.!

Aldi sells some kringles (danishes in the shape of an O) that are made by the O.H Bakery in Wisconsin and that bakery is pretty famous. Their price point for them is excellent. They currently have an almond one and a raspberry variety. This location is a little older and I always feel it's a little dingy, but it's still very clean. It's just old and well shopped there's always a ton of people at this location. Remember to bring $.25! Otherwise, you will be carrying all your items in your hands because carts are locked up and to unlock them. One needs $.25 which you get back when you return your cart. Also remember to bring bags or else you're gonna be spending $.10 a bag. If you don't want to spend the $.10 and didn't bring a bag they often have empty boxes from stock that they will gladly let you have to put your groceries in. Aldi is fairly self serve so You dont often see a team member but whenever I have needed one they are friendly and helpful. We come to aldi specifically to buy bread, shredded cheese, chicken, fish, and various milk milks. The price points on these items are consistently lower than the bigger national retailers.

Giant Eagle Market District is a great grocery store addiction to the city of Bexley. I come here…read moreto buy little items such as bread, snacks or prepared foods. It is an expensive grocery store and before this location opened, I would frequent the Kroger store just down the street. I will say that this location has a large amount of organic food products and natural products which is wonderful. The staff has always been friendly when I come here. A previous review that I read said that the store smells when you enter. I have not smelled any bad smells inside the store. It smells fresh to me. Infact, the store is always clean. The store is quite large with both an upstairs and downstairs location but it isn't as big as most grocery stores. Let's face it, how much stuff do you really need to buy anyway? I guess I'm becoming a minimalist....haha. There is also a Starbucks cafe inside on the first floor. Upstairs has a seating area attached to the Market District bar. There is an elevator on the first floor that takes you up to the 2nd floor or you can take the stairs up. Come on by. I would recommend this store in Columbus (Bexley). *** - This is my 169th total Yelp review. - I have written 123 Yelp reviews in 2018.

As we walked up the stairs, we exchanged greetings with another shopper (a white female). When we reached the top of the stairs, we turned left towards the bar/liquor store. A white woman who worked there was sitting at the bar reading a newspaper. She looked up over her glasses and, in a very abrupt and accusatory tone, said, "CAN I HELP YOU?" My husband instantly turned around and walked away in disappointment. I responded, "Hello, we're just looking," and followed him. While in the adjacent wine section, I told my husband, "She was kind of rude." He replied, "That's exactly why I walked away. We'll get some wine and pay downstairs." Now, stay with me for a moment. The area was well-lit, and there was a glass divider separating the two rooms. While I was considering my options for a red blend near the back wall my husband looked at the white wines. In a more welcoming tone, the same woman who had been sitting at the bar addressed another shopper (a white male) in a very welcoming and charismatic voice, saying, "Hi, how are you? What can I help you with?" as she walked over to him with a smile. I instantly recognized the difference in her demeanor. Even my husband noted, "She didn't talk to us like that." We then proceeded downstairs to the customer service desk. My husband felt I shouldn't share my concerns because this behavior happens daily, and he believed nothing would change. However, I decided to speak with the manager, Sabrina, who kindly listened to my experience. Sabrina responded by saying "Well, I've never had anyone else complain about her as an associate and repeated it to me twice before saying, but I'll look at it." That was not the response I was hoping for; an apology would have been welcomed. However, I honestly do not know what I expected. I do not want the associate to lose her job or anything crazy, but her attitude toward us was crazy and offensive. Should she be educated? Yes, absolutely. Had the roles been reversed, I would have likely been fired, handcuffed by an all-white group of Bexley Police officers, and charged with assault and misconduct of some magnitude. Or I could have reacted in the same way as the associate, inappropriate, disrespectful, and racist, and I still would have been arrested in the same manner mentioned above. I'm so sick and tired of the racism and hostility. My husband and I are educated, working-class humans who respect others and deserve to be treated equally, just like every other customer, no matter what we look like or how we identify. We may be only two of many shoppers, but I will not be returning to the store at all. I am disappointed. Hatred, blatant racism, and unconscious bias that equates to racism are all wrong.
