As with other Aldi's, you can go through a whole visit not interacting with a single employee, even at check out. The closest I had to employee interaction was a roomba-like vacuum beeping at me to get out of its way. (Not very customer-centered technology, huh?) The lack of employee interaction doesn't bother me too much, but it'd be nice for employees to say hello or ask if you need help when they inevitably pass by you in the store. Maybe that's too Midwestern a mindset? Anyway, one thing at local Aldi's that really stresses me out are the phones! I worked at a call center with the exact same ring, so every time I hear the phones, it really freaks me out. This isn't their fault obviously, BUT I shouldn't be able to hear clear ringing from across the store. No exaggeration, you could be anywhere in the store and hear this ringing clearly. I think there are enough employees at the front that there's no need to have the phones THAT loud. Recommendations: their prosciutto and goat cheese. This location sadly didn't have any of the honey goat cheese, but the garlic and herb is our favorite. These are great quality, reasonable prices, and an Aldi's staple.

The staff interaction was ok but REALLY missed an opportunity to sell the market and what they are about. I had asked about the membership and the bland explanations really didn't say much at all and the interaction was not very inviting and kind of dismissive. I would have been happy that some new traffic came in and showed an interest. Anyway, the market offers all kinds of items from produce, vegan options, natural drinks, and grocery items. It appears the main focus is supporting local farmers and vendors in the area. I will come back and take another look around but was super happy they had the drinks I liked.
