Lovely event venue! I went for a wedding that started in a grassy courtyard surrounded by foliage. The backdrop to the ceremony included some beautiful big trees! From there it was a short walk to a 2-part reception hall with cocktail area with a glass wall that overlooked a patio courtyard. The reception area included high enough ceilings for the bride to add an aerial rig complete with an hour long show-- it seems like you could pull off just about anything in that room. The right side included glass doors that opened to another patio area with an awning overtop. The place feels very much lodge-esque, but is not exactly in the woods. I enjoyed my experience there, I liked the ambiance, and the food was great too (plus the bride did one helluva job planning her wedding, but thats besides the point). read more

Awesome and beautiful venue with good history and awesome staff. The food is to die for my only wish is that I could get to eat the food again. Hope I get invited to a wedding or event here soon lol. Highly recommend the farmers market as well! read more

We had our wedding here in April and it was gorgeous! Our guests loved it and many shared that it was their favorite wedding that they had ever been to which definitely speaks volumes to the efficiency of the staff and it's breathtaking scenery. It is on the expensive side but you get a wedding planner that came in handy because it rained which also came with the ability to flip the facility during cocktail hour and move the ceremony inside. They were also really helpful with the planning process and making sure we had everything we needed and letting us know how much food to get and how the night should flow, etc. My one complaint would be the adorable yellow house where the bridal party got ready had to be cleared out quickly before the ceremony and I was unable to get all of my things before it was locked for the night. Our wedding planner left early but it would have been helpful for her to give a us a heads up to grab our things before it was locked since we had all been so rushed due to the pictures, hair, makeup, and the rain. Our flight left early for our honeymoon the next morning before they opened and I had to go without my jacket and makeup bag which was a bit of a bummer. All in all would still definitely recommend this venue. It truly is an amazing place. read more

Let me start by saying that we were here on a mild, rainy, January Friday. The wedding - oddly enough - started at 4:00 PM. There is a nice greenhouse-like structure where the wedding was held. It was adequately heated and blankets were also available on each seat. The venue was perfectly good for the event and I'm sure it would have been lovely if the weather was nicer. We got a little wet moving from the wedding building to where the cocktail hour was held. No worries as it was a very short walk. Unfortunately, the room that the cocktail hour was held in was not large enough to accommodate the large crowd. There was a small table with snacks, a coffee bar, and also a fully stocked bar. However, it was quite difficult to move around the room and I literally had to climb over a lady in a wheelchair to get to the coffee bar. Twice. I don't imagine that it was the venue's fault that the wedding party insisted on having a cocktail hour in the confined space and invited so many people. When we were finally allowed into the large dining and dancing room, it was much more comfortable. There were 10 Top tables and we were served family style. The reception proceeded smoothly enough. We waited a bit to get our entrees and once we did get them, there was not enough of some of the dishes for all those at the table. Again, I doubt this is the venue's fault as the wedding party would have selected the quantity and quality of food. The quality of the food was fine. It was a heavily breaded chicken breast for which I un-breaded it , green beans, macaroni and cheese, and mashed potatoes. Nothing exceptional but perfectly good. What wowed me was the dessert table. There was an amazing spread of full-size cupcakes as well as chocolate dipped strawberries. The strawberries were huge and had a thick coating of delicious chocolate. Needless to say I made multiple trips. The reception had a DJ and a dance floor. I'm not sure of the size as I never got dancing. By 9:00 PM, I was definitely ready to go. Unfortunately, my husband who was friends of the bride and bridal family was not ready to go . I guess the good news of a wedding starting at 4:00 PM was that I did get home before 10:00 PM. My guess is that they got quite a deal by holding a wedding on a Friday afternoon. I still don't know if I prefer to have a Saturday afternoon wedding which takes up much of my weekend or whether a Friday afternoon wedding which cuts into my work day is preferable. TBD. Anyways, I do appreciate the fact that this venue is local and only 20 minutes from the house. This having a wedding at a venue as well as the reception - not in a church - seems to be the trend as does serving family style meals. Both of which are fine by me. As is this location. AND I forgot to mention. Parking lot is graveled. If you're a lady in heels in the water/cold/snow - be sure and get dropped off at the building. Navigating the puddles and mud was NOT cool. read more

I got married here 9/11/22. The amount of work that this venue puts in from the day you tour the venue to the end of your reception is incredible. This was the first and only venue my husband toured and we fell in love immediately. The space is gorgeous, the ambiance is both romantic and friendly, and the courtyard landscaping is a dream. The greenhouse is open and rustic and breathtaking. Evin, our coordinator, went above and beyond to make sure that my husband and I had the best experience ever. The serving staff, the bartenders, the caterers, and the floral design staff all worked in harmony to create our perfect wedding. Communication through all facets - from billing, to coordinating, to catering - was simple and easy. My husband and I can't stop talking about how beautiful this place is, and the amount of compliments we received during our reception blew me away. Keep being amazing, Jorgensen Farms! read more

I would NEVER recommend this establishment to anyone!!! Everyone is aware I'm sure of Governor DeWine's new orders for retail establishments as well as larger gatherings. We have family members that were suppose to get married there this weekend. Naturally they're considering all options in order to ensure their special day remains just that, special. They reached out to Jorgensen in an attempt to get their money back less their deposit and they were met with an offer of $500 (They've paid them over $12K!!!) At the end of the day refunding a couple of weddings as we navigate through unprecedented times is not going to cripple this business. Now, Jorgensen, by refusing to do the right thing is destroying what should be one of the happiest days of this amazing couple's lives! They want to be able to walk around the room, talk to and thank people for coming to share their special day. They deserve to be able to dance and play games like every other wedding you've ever been to! They should be ashamed of the greed they use to fuel their business operations. read more

Our wedding was more than a dream come true at Oak Grove. Everything went beyond our expectations. Beautiful. Organized. Accommodating. Fun! Absolutely perfect! All of our guests were impressed by the beauty of the greenhouse, the fun and friendly staff, the amazing food, and relaxed atmosphere. We had the Graeter's truck come which we were able to have and huge hit for our guests. Lauren and the staff at Oak Grove did an absolutely amazing job! They were friendly, fun, completely organized, and very professional. Every worker had a smile on their face the entire night. The whole experience of working with Lauren, the Emily's and Jorgensen Farms was by far an incredible experience. We highly recommend Jorgensen to anyone!! read more

I want to start by saying I was expecting to have my wedding here in 2022. Our wedding location was going to be at Oak Grove- which is absolutely gorgeous! The green house is a dream and the perfect place for a ceremony when you want to have an outside feel but you don't want to worry about the weather. Additionally the reception space is breathtaking and feels like you're outside under the stars with bulb lights and floor to ceiling windows. Unfortunately my fiancé is in the Army & received orders during our wedding date. As you can imagine, this was a nightmare to a bride trying to plan a wedding. Randi at Jorgensen was so helpful and accommodating. She went above and beyond to help us with our situation. Genuinely, with the kindness and responsiveness of all the staff at Jorgensen, this nightmare was manageable. I highly recommend this venue to any couples looking for a unique venue paired with staff willing to go above and beyond for you! read more

We were so very happy with Jorgensen Farms, every step of the way! The pictures turned out amazing. I stopped the next day to pick up a few things... it was so neat seeing how different each wedding can be (decorating wise). I would suggest Jorgensen for how beautiful and vintage the backdrop is. A few things: 1- Do NOT use Bar Genie as a bartender (she didn't show up for us) 2- Make sure your DJ does not plan on streaming the music. It is in the country, so internet is choppy 3- We spent time before the wedding getting ready in the houses provided... and it worked out perfectly! Val (the owner) and Katherine (the planner) are very good at what they do! Thanks again for everything!! The Pope's 09/19/14 read more

Jorgensen Farms - Our wedding itself was held in the flower garden- and was beautiful!! - Fruits & Veggies Near Me - Westerville, Ohio

This is a wonderful and scenic venue, very clean and spread out. Attended a wedding over the weekend of October 19-20, 2019. Bar area nice and open, restrooms clean and really nice. Staff friendly and helpful. The one major issue, food, served at the table was cold and even some guests chicken was raw. This is why the rating is only a two star, this should never ever happen, period. Not a recommended venue as this is just plain unacceptable in this type of business! read more

Jorgensen has so much to love. The personality of the owner, the personality of the farm, the wedding coordinator, ambiance, the beauty of it all. It's such a pretty venue and it decorates itself with the abundance of flowers surrounding the grounds. Val (the owner) is so easy to get along with, she doesn't "babysit" and your happiness rubs off on her, she appreciates the love of the couples getting married on her farm. Katherine (the wedding coordinator) does her job...WELL. She is there to do a job, she will give you the attention and detail that you want, her communication skills are what every bride needs. You won't make a mistake by choosing Jorgensen as your location for your wedding...it's perfect! read more

What an astonishing venue!!! The incredible layout, the gorgeous flowers surrounding the farm houses, the wooden bridge, rustic barn....nothing short of a dream wedding/reception venue. Val is such a beautiful person, very personable, and wonderful to work with. I highly recommend booking through Jorgensen, one look on the farm and your eyes will light up. read more

A beautiful venue for a wedding! My daughter's wedding was in June and other than it being a very hot day, it was perfect. The Jorgensen staff took very good care of us and our event coordinator Macie was so knowledgeable and friendly that we were less stressed than we all thought we would be. The ceremony was beautiful in the grassy courtyard area, all landscaping and flowers were well manicured as well. The reception was a bit warm in the barn but seemed pretty cool knowing there were over 200 people there. Could have been worse! The coordination of the event was well done and I would highly recommend for weddings and large parties if all kinds! read more

Came here for a cousin's wedding. If you're into the whole " this is supposed to be a rustic barn venue" thing. Then you will like it I guess. The outside of the building is just sheet metal. Inside was nice and good sound system for speaking and music for the reception. read more

My daughter was married there September 23. She's been waiting her whole life for her dream wedding. The venue , the green house is beautiful, her ceremony and celebration was perfect except for the wedding planner they appointed. She disappeared, didn't keep things flowing and my daughter on her wedding day, had to tell people what to do and where to go. It did not make for a carefree day for my daughter. She contacted Jorgensen's with her disappointments and they never even responded. I would think with the cost of that venue they would be more professional. If you get married there, have your own wedding planner. The one they appointed didn't communicate well even before the wedding. Very disappointing! read more

Beautiful spot for a wedding! The workers were attentive and kept everything running on time. Their service at dinner was excellent, cleaning plates quickly and staying out of the way. The place was well kept, with grass freshly mowed and beautiful flowers blooming. Plenty of room for parking and guests were even taken in golf carts to the reception if they were in a wheel chair or had trouble walking. Waters were provided at the ceremony since it was outside. The only issue was the house the girls got ready in wasn't the cleanest. We actually saw a mouse on the counter....along with mouse droppings, and just general uncleanliness. read more

I attended a wedding here on 5/25/14. It was a nice and sunny late afternoon outside wedding. You can hear the rooster crowing in the background. Bright green well manicured lawn all over. Beautiful maintained flower beds everywhere. After the ceremony the reception was held inside the barn. With over 100 guests still plenty of room for dancing after the food. Of course it was hot but that's expected with an outside venue. Fans were all around keeping the temperature down just enough. The extra lighting from the chandeliers were the perfect touch with the overall country feel. I have to say if you are looking for an authentic farm wedding you should choose Jorgensen Farms. read more

This place is fantastic. Everything went smoothly and on time. They did a great job setting up the outdoor wedding and the reception room. Even returned my necklace I had lost and never thought I'd see again! I recommend this place to anyone needing their services, especially an outdoor event. A 90% chance of rain and 90 degree weather and they still pulled it off! Thanks so much for all your help and efforts to make my son's wedding a blast. I heard NO complaints! read more

Our daughter was married just a few weeks ago in the Flower Field at Jorgensen Farms with the cocktail hour and reception following at the Historic Barn. Our experience both the day of the event and at every step, from our initial tour with the owner through all subsequent planning meetings, could not have been more perfect. Staff members were always welcoming and responded quickly to all communications. Our event planner, Macie, was invaluable in helping us to think of every detail. Staff worked cooperatively with all other vendors hired for the event. The grounds and the barn were beautiful! On the day of the wedding, we were able to relax and enjoy every moment as we were confident that the Jorgensen Farms staff in coordination with our caterer, Bosc and Brie, would manage every detail to create the perfect day for the bride and groom and for all of our guests. We would not have changed one thing! read more
