Two visits deep (brunch AND dinner) and this place has a 100% hit rate in our household. That's not…read moreeasy to achieve. The prices are refreshingly fair, the food comes out fresh every single time, and the vegetarian options? Chef's kiss. I blanked on the name of my dish but my taste buds definitely remember it. My husband, a man of few words when it comes to food compliments, was also thoroughly impressed with his meal. If you're on the fence, consider this your sign. We'll be back. Probably soon.

The place is not big and they usually have large parties coming in, thus fills the space quickly. We started with Tofu chicharron which we were expecting to be crispy - because chicharron means 'crackling pork rinds' but these Tofu were soft a lil disappointed there. We tried the pork sisig, it was okay. It has this mayo topping and there's an overpowering taste of ginger which is not typical of sisig. We enjoyed the grilled pork belly though, marinated enough and it's complimented with soy vinegar dip. The pancit on the other hand was very greasy. The oil was pooling at the bottom of the bowl. Taste was was just okay. It has way too many chinese sausage in it. We completed our meal with Ube Carioca, it is this chewy rice cake that is deep fried with glazed sweetness & that was okay as well. We wanted the mango sago, however they were out. The service was prompt and adequate parking space.

Came to visit Budd Dairy Food Hall and was instantly drawn to Boni, after viewing all my options…read more I got the grilled pork belly rice bowl in market style which came with garlic rice, roasted corn, slaw and garlic vinaigrette. Added 2 pork lumpias to make the entire meal a 5/5! The pork belly was packed with flavour and perfectly grilled/ cooked. The roasted corn was sweet and mixed with tomatoes and parsley. The slaw added a great crunch to the meal. Lumpias were fried nice and golden brown with a sweet chili dipping sauce on the side. Overall I loved eating this, especially when you get a little bit of each item as one bite - delicious! Also got a drink of zero sugar 7up and was pleasantly surprised at how good it tasted. Love that they offered a zero sugar soda option. Would probably get this again even with the abundance of other food options in this food hall, as the flavours were so jam packed!

It is also nice that they offer a couple of vegetarian options, including crispy tofu, veggie skewers, and a crispy mushroom bowl. We opted to try the crispy BBQ tofu skewers. The texture was very good, and the sauce had a nice flavor. Very nice presentation; the skewers came accompanied by some shredded veggies. Service was friendly. They use a text message system to notify when food is ready. Seating is available around the food hall, and there is a serve your own water station by the bar. There's a small parking lot adjacent to the building, plus street parking nearby.
