I went to Kuppies for the first time on 2/27/26. I looked at the reviews before going. Most were good. I bought 6 donuts, including 2 Apple Fritters. I can't believe that I never have done a review for my most beloved Bakery - obviously Kuppies. This is a small family owned business. I used to live in VP - now out of state -- but when I come into town, I often stop to get bakery to take while visiting my family. The selection, quality, and prices can not be beat. I buy strudels, coffee cakes, donuts, pecan rolls - which are my favorites, cookies and sweet rolls and made to order Italian cannoli - which they fill before you pick them up. I so very much miss my home bakery, and I am longing for a pecan roll. Hopefully, I will get some in May when I visit. read more

Kuppie's is a cute little family owned bakery with convenient parking and excellent service. The downside is that they offer zero vegan items (to be expected and zero points off for that). We went for my husband, and he did not find their food to be palatable in taste of flavor. He also said the items that he selected were on the "dry" side. read more

Atmosphere says it is about to close for good but the food is good enough to never close! Tried some massive almond treat recommend by the Funky barista next door, the lovely baker plopped a hefty slab of nut crusted dough into a sack for me. Wish she offered a sampler plate; many tasty treats tempting me from the glass. There's not much space but perhaps they set outside chairs up during warm weather? I was very thankful to see the thousands of calories under four bucks! There's a fun old school 1950s vibe here, something difficult to categorize, relaxed and positive, great timeless tunes coming through a speaker. Didn't get to try the dessert until I got home three hours later, still so good! That's a big mark of quality when the texture and flavors hold up to a road trip. If you're in the area and want something sweet, go for it. However, these donuts were very average and I probably wouldn't return. Half of typical coffee shops. A small storefront, old school, such a gem that is hard to find these days. Not some Yuppy cupcake shop charging $7 a pop. Kuppies is the best bakery in the area. Their baked goods are baked fresh daily. They support local charities and the local parish. They are collecting for Knights of Columbus Tootsie roll drive for adults and children with Intellectual Disabilities. All proceeds go to local charities. But again Kuppies is awesome we like there Apple slices, French donuts, cinnamon rolls, chocolate chip coffee cake etc. Stop by you won't regret it and great customer service. read more

There simply are not enough stars to do this place justice! We were having a bit of a rough morning so we did the obvious thing: looked on Yelp for a review so exuberant that the place had to be incredible. The review began: This could be a short review. Kuppie's has the best donuts. I turned to David and said "Let's go!" GPS SIRI located it by voice search and we were on our way to what we knew would be an experience. I loved the place immediately. I walked in on a long line of happy people and a discussion about feeding raccoons in a guy's backyard. The raccoon daddy loaded up with bags and boxes and I held the door for him. "I do that for people," he said to me. "I hold the door for other people. I've done that," he continued. "It's a better world kind of thing," I responded. "Yes! Yes! It's a better world!" he answered. I was primed for a great bakery experience and I was not disappointed. "I'm going to fill up a big box," I said to the man at the counter who stepped up to help me. That was totally fine, he grabbed a box and I started pointing. David was next door grabbing coffee and I had to stall for a minute so that he could share the experience. I aggressively insisted that my order be paused. "I'm not here to interrupt the flow for the regulars," I said waving the line through. David showed up and he had a recommendation for almond squares from the guy next door who presides over a small coffee shop with the same energy as a great neighborhood bar. I should've gone with my gut and gotten four of them. We have apple fritters (ate them already, so-- no pictures except when they were nestled in the box,) almond squares, custard donuts ("if you're not going to eat these right away, refrigerate them. The custard is fresh,") and a few donuts. The square and the fritter got me first and I'll have to breathe for a minute before reporting on the rest. Infinity/ infinity ...this is the kind of place that makes me dream about being a regular. read more

Oh my goodness what a local gem! This family owned bakery does NOT disappoint. They have such a variety of items available daily....and one pastry is better than the next! Their doughnuts are so fluffy and light. I am obsessed with their coffee cakes, especially the chocolate one. She custom made oatmeal raisin cookies for me and they were delicious. Called a few days ahead and were ready when I needed them.

The pastries were good, the donuts were a little dry, and the selection was decent when we visited in the mid morning of a weekday. The people are definitely 5-star worthy - very friendly, kind, and patient. This shop feels like it's been around a while and has the quaint, if not a little tired, vibe of the kind of place you'd have visited with your grandparents to pick up a sweet roll. First heard about Kuppie's from the older ladies at the pool. Lots of them raved about the donuts and coffee cake and I had to give them a try. It's an older bakery that has been a staple to the area for years. Some favorites are the donuts with fudge icing, focaccia, hot dogs, and coffee cake. Not a big fan of the koloches. Kinda dry for my taste. Try to get there early bc a lot of things sell out by noon. Service is friendly and they take credit card too! The bakery could use a little up date with fresh paint. I asked for a dozen donuts and picked which donuts I wanted. I waited until I got home to try a chocolate donut. This was one of the best donuts I've ever had. Do you have your paczki order in for Fat Tuesday? If not, get that in quickly and do it here! And you will definitely want to place an order in advance. Paczki Day is pretty crazy here with a line out the door.... The paczki are always delicious but everything here is always good. However, there isn't always a lot of selection on hand (usually more in stock on the weekends - if you just randomly pop in during the week, depending on the day, your selection might be slim). That being said, they can do pretty much whatever you want as an order. In fact, when I went to order my paczki, I asked about a filling (cheese with chocolate chips.) I asked if it was a cannoli filling. The woman working at the time said "no, but we can do that for you. just mark 'other' and let us know what you want." read more

Love this little local bakery. Only thing they need is coffee in my opinion. Pastries are absolutely delicious, prices are super reasonable too. My absolute favorite are their apple fritters, soft inside with a light crunch on first bite. The perfect amount of icing and apple cinnamon insides.
