This is a great place to kill time while you're waiting for hot pot. That being said, I haven't been to a KFT in years now that other boba shops have popped up and after having it again, I can see why. The drinks are sweeter than other places so if you can, adjust and reduce the sweetness to 50%. I ordered the sesame matcha and it was alright. My partner ordered the taro and it was too sweet for my liking. This place is run by teens. When we came in, an hour before closing, the employees had their friends chilling in the back where they store ingredients so I don't know how sanitary this place is. Omgoodness where do I begin? I started losing my patience with this location whenever I would order a drink...whether it be chestnut, almond, or red bean...they would never have the ingredients so after placing my order on the app and paying in advance, I would have to choose a different drink upon my arrival and something similar of price and then wait of course. Defeats the purpose of ordering in the app. Recently I had them make the new dubai wow drink and it was a hot mess! No one knew what I was talking about and they started contemplating on calling the manager/owner almost as if they knew he would be annoyed if they called him. One guy said he can make it but all he did was add milk to sliced strawberries with globs of pistachio. It was a hot mess!! The pistachio dubai wow isn't even supposed to have strawberries in it and the pistachio cream should be blended with the drink. Totally not what the drink is supposed to be. It was horrible! I went back last night to try something different since I already had it in the KF in Colorado Springs...the strawberry dubai cup (no drink). This one was also a Dud- there was barely any pistachio cream and just whole pistachios (too many) and sliced strawberries. And to top it off they are using cups that are super sharp and even warned customers to be careful when removing the covers because you can cut your fingers. If they know this then stop being cheap and order new safer cups! This was never an issue in the past. Just too many reasons to be done with this location. The Boulder, Denver, and Colorado Springs location is waaaay better and the manager/owner is on site, their strawberry dubai cup was oh em ger the best I have had so far. Filled to the top, fresh strawberries and a much larger cup than this stingy location. No more Thornton location for me unfortunately. Not so cherry on top? Their service and attitudes. I have picked up some milk tea several times now at Kung Fu Tea and it was done well. I goto many milk tea spots and Kung Fu does it consistently and well. Tried Kung Fu Tea for the first time today. It was international Boba Day and they have an app and great rewards program, so I thought I'd give it a try. Since moving from CA to CO I've been searching for a good boba spot because CA has some of the best (biased opinion). Well, after driving 20 min to Kung Fu, I hate to stay but I'm still searching. I love how many drink items they have on their menu and a lot of great add ins. I like that you can make drinks less sweet too. Another thing I like is that they have aloe jelly when a lot of places out here I've been to don't. Unfortunately my drink was horrible tasting. I got a strawberry green tea lemonade (all flavors I typically like). This tasted like straight syrup or even a melted popsicle. The drinks I'm used to are made with real fruit so not sure I can get down with them. This was my first time trying boba tea, and it was soooo delicious! I asked the lady helping me to give me whatever she recommended since it was my first time trying it, and she recommended the Kung Fu Tea with boba. Nothing fancy; not doctored up with all kinds of customizations. It was fantastic! Next time I get one, I'll go for the large instead of medium, and I'll get light ice so it doesn't get so watered down over time. Also, I was pleasantly surprised by the boba. Super stoked for this new boba shop in the area. I downloaded their app and signed up for their rewards program just before Bubble Tea Week, and I'm so glad I did. Having the app has really paid off. This shop is unique because you can customize almost everything including toppings (as many as you'd like,) sweetness level, and ice level. Everything I ordered, I enjoyed. The taro drinks could be a little stronger in flavor, but I still enjoyed them. I also tried a few new drinks and toppings - the Sesame Oolong Milk Tea had a subtle nutty taste, with herbal jelly topping which was super light in flavor and kinda boring. The Matcha Milk Strike (Milk Strike meaning made with Lactaid milk) with bubble (boba.) The Matcha was made with authentic Japanese Matcha, and it was delicious and refreshing. I would definitely order both of those drinks again, but instead of herbal jelly I will try the Oolong tea jelly next time. read more

I placed an order on Kung Fu Tea's app for pick up today before grocery shopping. I love that it's right across the street from the outlet mall & right before the freeway so I always stop by on my way home. I grabbed a medium winter melon milk tea with aloe jelly. My order was ready in about 5 minutes! They make their drinks FAST here. I always order my drinks with 50% sugar and less ice & they're perfect. First time customers and we are hooked! I have tried Bobo Tea in so many cities but this is by far the best. The environment is quaint but clean and seating for 12 or so guests. The flavors were unique but you could find all your favorites. This the first time I have actually ever enjoyed my bobo tea. Usually I just come for my family but we will definitely be back. I love kung fu tea! I go to the boulder one more often but both locations are always great. They have a lot of different options for anyone who's into tea, juice, slushies etc! They also have dairy free WOW milk which is super nice for people with lactose intolerance. My favorite drink i've tried has to be the peach yakult drink with the peach pieces and popping boba or the honey oolong tea with regular boba! It's also a nice place to talk with friends or just study! read more

The boba itself is delicious. They do a great job with using fresh boba, but some flavors of the tea are not good. I got rose hip and it was very sweet. Sadly you cannot lower the sweetness level by much on this drink, but aside from the sweetness, the flavor was not great. read more

Highly recommend for people who are into drinking anything and being hydrated. In a great spot too across the street from the mall and the new In-And-Out and Raising Cane. I always got kungfu milk tea with boba in Aurora but today i tried the new store close to my house instead, the boba was not like usual, no taste, not sweet and suprisingly warm. I am so, so, soooooo happy there's a Kung Fu Tea that opened close to me! I remember the days when the only Kung Fu Tea was on Hampden Ave and BOY, Was that a drive! We randomly saw this location across the street from the In-n-out, and I literally screamed and made a U-turn right into the parking lot. They had just opened that weekend and was doing a buy one get one free drink special. I got my go to drink which is the Kung Fu milk tea with pudding, and for the free drink we got the white grape punch. Everything tasted great. The milk tea was creamy and not overly sweet, and the grape punch has a good sweet flavor. They were a bit busy, but I didn't have to wait to order, and our drinks were out quickly. The owner of this place let's their kids run a muck and treat the actual people who applied like shit. The boba is okay at best, crappy service and will shut down 15 minutes before closing. The glowing redemption in all of this is that the staff here will drive the 3 miles to Happy lemon for better boba. The city now has many options for good boba. This is not one of them. read more
