We had taken visitors to Flatiron Crossing to give an 8 year old an option to look for a vacation treat. As we browsed around we all decided a boba treat was wanted. I had seen this one on Yelp as it was nearby in the food court. As we placed our orders, we discovered the lowest amount of sugar customization was 50%. We all were typically ordering at home at 25% but as it turned out, this shop uses a different scale of sweetness so we were all fine. I had my lychee iced teas with boba , another had mango and the third had a milk tea of some sort. All were good and if back in the mall would do it again. They have another location on South Boulder Rd in Lafayette under a slightly different name. Staff or owner was friendly and helpful and the other who made the drinks was quick and accurate. Dream on... While walking about the Flatiron Crossing Mall, Emily mentioned how she wanted some chocolate ice cream. We ended up in the food court and saw this little boba tea station. I asked if she wanted some and she said yes. We walked up and stood there for like 3 minutes before the guy working the station turned around and looked at us. He was in the middle of making 3 drinks so I wasn't too upset about the wait but the gentleman didn't even acknowledge us standing there. He turned around, saw us, then went back to making drinks. It took him about 10 minutes to make the drinks but then promptly took our order with no enthusiasm or care. I ended up getting a coffee mocha milk tea with almond milk and Emily got something that struck her fancy. Without saying anything else, the guy turned around and started making our drinks. It was about 5 minutes later that they were ready and we grabbed our straws and sat down. This is the first boba place I've been to that isn't sealed. Dream Bubble Tea uses these domed lids that have panda ears on them. Adorable, if you ask me. The lack of customer service aside... this wasn't a good drink. That may have been my fault for getting it with almond milk instead but it was just a weird blend of mocha and almond that didn't mesh well at all. I did finish the drink but that was mostly due to trying to eat all the boba at the bottom. Without those, I could've tossed the drink and not missed it at all. While we sat there, drinking the boba, the guy just kept getting people coming up and ordering drinks. Emily and I honestly think the guy just hates the job or didn't want to be there as there was no enthusiasm in him helping the next few guests either. I feel bad for giving such a low score but since I do these based on my experience there, there's not much I can do to sugarcoat or try and overlook things. Poor customer service with a disappointing drink (again, that might be my bad) is just how my experience went. Never let mine (or someone else's) rating dissuade you from going. Let's be real, there aren't a lot of options to get bubble tea around here. But what I like about Dream Bubble Tea is that, for a tiny little stand at the Flatirons Crossing Mall, it provides an extensive menu of tea flavors and toppings. Honestly, it beats Master Tea in this area. I was worried that the drinks might not live up to this bubble tea fan's standards, but my usual favorite order of almond milk tea with rainbow jellies (my attempt at recreating the almond tofu pudding dessert in drink form) was pretty darn perfect. The fact that they even offer toppings like rainbow jelly, lychee jelly and herbal grass jelly among others makes me feel at home and at peace, like all is still right with the world. Speaking of all being right with the world, the boba straw will come in its own packaging, so you can be sure it's clean and safe to use (just in case you take my photo out of context). Also, how cute are the little cups? You can choose between a small size like mine or a large sized cup. They do feel just a little flimsy, but it's OK because you'll probably drink it all within a few minutes anyway. read more

This place is okay for mall bubble tea. The tea is too sweet, too artificial and too expensive to justify purchase outside of a mall, but inside a mall, it's mildly satisfactory. There are also no less than a dozen teenagers waiting in line at any one time, so be forewarned. I will give them props for timely service. Will probably come here occasionally as it's close to my office and there are no other bubble tea shops in the area, but if this place weren't conveniently located, I could not see myself coming back. read more

This is a small kiosk in the food court and there were three ladies staffing and hustling hard - however I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to visit and I might actually not even recommend it even if you're in the area. The good is that both drinks were requested with adjusted sweetness and still had good flavor - sometimes asking for less sweet gives you a watered down tasting drink. However the boba is unfortunately overcooked and bland tasting. read more

Come across Dream Bubble Tea while walking g the mall and inquired about the sweetness of the regular milk tea. I was told that they already add sugar when they pre-make their milk tea, but that that more is sometimes added when they make each drink. I asked for a taste/sample of the milk tea before I decided how much sugar, if any, to add, I given the "retail smile" and was told that they "don't do that here." It's really good, but overpriced like every biba place and too small of a location, so it takes for ever and the lines are long.

I went to this mall and was looking for a drink and passed by this tea place, the atmosphere seemed fine and the cashier seemed nice at first glance but as I was looking at the menu I decided on something and I asked if he could make me a tea drink with a few scoops of the jelly topping and he blatantly said "no, I can't do that" and stared at me blankly waiting for my response. I asked in confusion and he repeated that he just wouldn't so I said goodbye and he said ok and he went back to sitting down. I was at the tea stand attempting to order an hour before they closed and I'm assuming he just didn't want do it because he had already mentally checked out for the day even though they weren't closed. Basically got refused service so that's why I give it a 1 star. There are plenty of other bubble tea places everywhere so skip this one and go to those. read more

This is definitely the best place to go for boba whenever you're up in the Flatirons Mall area. The service is always friendly and good any time I order and since discovering them a little less than a year ago, I always get 1-2 drinks while at the mall. I like to get the Mango Milk tea or one of the special drinks. While you can't go wrong with any of them, the Blue Galaxy would have to be my favorite with how refreshing and tangy it is, but the Pudding Force is also really good with how creamy and rich it is as well. Keep your receipts too because you get a dollar off your next drink/order if you bring it back so if you get them often like I do, it can save you some money especially with the more expensive special drinks. read more

It was terrible. The flavor was completely artificial and tasted like plastic. Plus I kept getting weird chunks of congealed flavoring.
