Outside, some outdoor seating

I'm a fan! I stopped by here yesterday for a little Halloween treat. I love that there are a ton of drink options, and they have lactose free milk in case you are sensitive to dairy. There are no vegan milk options. There are a lot of unique Boba and topping options. For example, there is coffee popping boba, grape boba, nata jelly, mango jelly, and so much more. They also had cute character drinks. For example there was a special Kirby and Minions drink. They do have coffee Boba drinks too. I ordered a Matcha sesame drink, and it was not too sweet! The taste was very good! Pro Tip: download the app, and order ahead so you can customize your drink easily. It took me a while to figure out exactly what I wanted. You also earn rewards towards free drinks and small surprises with the app. Check it out!!

Boba addict. Four stars for the milk alternative options. A lot of Boba shops now are doing an equal amount of flavors or styles but the plain milk teas can be almond, coconut, or oat milk based instead. Solid chain and a solid tea shop overall. Most recently I did a classic black milk tea and added honey boba. Figured that wouldn't be as sweet as the brown sugar boba and it was just right. I like a Earl Gray or lavender tea when I can find it. Since black milk tea is the classic Boba I enjoy ordering that at new spots as a kind of jumping off point. This location is part of the Arvada Marketplace. Lots of parking all over but directly in front of the store you'll see three spots available. Indoors you have plenty of standing room and four small two to four person tables if you choose to dine in. They have great graphics showcasing their various styles and flavors. How you can further customize the drink to your liking. Two sizes regular and large are available and then a number of boba pearl options to choose from. Kung Fu tea also has a rewards program so if you're a frequent boba enthusiast be sure to sign up!

Thai Milk Tea less ice

For what we got and the place itself, I loved it! The only reason we give it a four is because of how the "dining" aspect of the building is: it is more a grab-and-go shop. However, my girlfriend ordered the Thai Milk Tea with boba and less ice. We loved the chocolate milk and tea combination as it was really pleasant! The boba was fresh and still warm so for how cold the wind had made us, it was enjoyable. Highly recommend if you are wanting fast and delicious boba.

Top 10 but, secretly, I want to try everything!

I can't believe I am only now discovering this boba chain and location here in Arvada! I have been missing out and need to make up for lost time so, clearly, I need to come back tomorrow, right? Easily could do it! The shop is bright and clean with fast friendly service. The menu is nearly overwhelming with so many options but, it makes it fun to try to decide what to try. For my first visit, I opted for the Pistachio latte with lychee crystal bubbles. The size options are medium and large. I chose medium but it was smaller than I expected and didn't last long. The top of the menu provides all of the instructions for how to build your drink and conveniently gives you the option for regular ice, light ice, or no ice. I probably would go with no ice next time, more drink! The standard menu itself is so extensive but, there are also smaller laminated menus lying on the pick up counter with even more options - and - even more on the walls! It's like a candy shop for boba! I just love the variety of drinks, flavors, and all of the boba options from standards to fun and fancy. Ooh and a lactose free milk option! What a great idea to have that available. Prices are on par with your favorite coffee spot. I downloaded the app after my visit so I could take my time to really look it over and make a list of versions and options I want to try next. There is also a handy photo hung on the wall with the 10 best sellers so, you know you can't go wrong with choosing one of those or - be creative and make your own combo up! 10/10 would do this again and again...

SO excited to have Kung Fu Tea in this part of town now! The staff is SO friendly and helpful (I know the menu has endless options- grateful for their suggestions). Definitely gonna be your new favorite boba shop!

Oolong Tea with Jelly

Of many bubble tea places, this place is pretty snazzy! Like, clean and efficient with everything in the store. They even have a cool little automated machine that does a lot of the sealing and dispensing of the teas, pretty cool stuff. And their menu isn't too pricey, and the jelly additions are something I highly reccomend. All around enjoyable!

Very clean and friendly! Drinks are a little sweet (I recommend lowering the sugar level) but boba is delicious, would definitely come back!

That shopping area in particular has so many different options but Everbowl definitely ties everything together. Upon walking in, the first thing that struck me was the very well-done interior design. It felt very chic and modern in there. The music was oddly turned so low that it was hard to hear which was a bit strange. The açaí bowl itself was really good and, in my opinion, a decent value for what it costs. The fruit tasted fresh enough and the rest of the bowl wasn't too sweet. I have had many açaí bowls that were way too sweet but the ones at Everbowl are at a good sweet level. The biggest downfall here is the customer service. The workers here clearly do not care at all. Talking with them feels like I am conversing with a robot that is not getting enough power supply. Overall, I'm glad they're in the neighborhood but it would be nice to experience some better customer service when visiting.

My favorite bowls are the nutty butty and the blue lagoon. Acai generally has a lot of added sugar, so I don't have it terribly often. One of the great things about Everbowl is that they have bases with little to no added sugar. If you want a treat, but want to minimize added sugar, this is a better place to do that than your average acai place. The place is small, but there is seating if you need it. And the service has always been quick and helpful.

Smoothies: I usually never buy anything here besides smoothies, and rightfully so (see next section). Island Green is my go-to as a treat. I've tried the Health Nut, Mango Magic, Orange Ginger Glow, and Sunrise Sunset. Smoothies run on the sweet side. Food: Pass. My partner keeps trying the food when he picks up smoothies (mainly out of convenience since he's already there and I made the same mistake today). Today, is the last smoothie straw, I will stick to smoothies only and skip the food. We have tried the quesadillas, flatbreads, and wraps. Why "no" to the food? -Sad portions. Skimps on every single ingredient for the salad. Wraps were okay two out four times, and quesadillas are small with not enough cheese overall. -The price for the portion (I understand inflation but the portion was like a kid's meal - $8.79 salad, not including tax) -Hit or miss on order accuracy (today's order is the only one I documented the mistake before I forgot. The receipt said, "no wontons" and then they add parmesan crisps to my Thai Chicken salad? See photo. I don't like parm crisps - removed parm crisps at home. Luckily, I'm not allergic to it.) Space: Open with decent amount of seating. Price: Average for smoothies. Overpriced for the food portion.

I genuinely don't understand what's going on at Playa Bowls…read more The bowls? Great. Service? Totally fine. The space? Adorable--full beach bungalow fantasy. You walk in expecting a little reggae, maybe some surf rock, something that says "you're on vacation." Instead... absolute dead silence. Like a library where everyone accidentally ordered açaí. Why am I whispering to my girlfriend at noon over fruit? Why does it feel like I'm about to get shushed by a librarian? After 22 years in hospitality, I can tell you: turning the music off is the universal signal for "please leave." Even blackout drunk people clock it immediately. So what is the strategy here? Is this some advanced "turn and burn" technique where we emotionally nudge people out with awkward silence? Because congrats, it works. I've never wanted to finish a perfectly good bowl faster in my life. The wild part is you clearly care about every other detail. I ordered two strawberry banana smoothies, but didn't realize they did not use real fruit. They use HerbaLife powders, which was really really disheartening since I just wanted a real fruit smoothie. She said black tea and he inputted in her order . When we got the order, it wasn't fresh milk tea, but black tea with milk foam. The skinnier staff member with bob cut hair stated that they didn't have fresh milk, which is just whole milk, to my wife. When I walked over he recanted saying they only have fresh milk for the winter melon tea. I told him the only difference is that they put that in the black tea and he feigned ignorance that he didn't know how to make it. This kid lied to our face since he's made this for us plenty of times. I'm not sure if it's new management and this is how they are training their staff but I'll be sure to let our friends know not to come here anymore. Lastly, he also had the audacity to tell us "You got what you ordered" when this wasn't what we asked for and he was right there when we ordered it.
