Seasonal drink: watermelon with tajin. Brown sugar boba.
    Dana B.

The drinks were okay, my brown sugar boba was a little milky and I asked for 25% sweet and it was still really sweet. Still good and it's cute in the inside. There's claw games you can play while there and yummy snacks!

Boba is a bit of an experience, it's not the usual coffee shop and so I expect to spend a bit more on a drink but I felt like this location charged more than I have been used to. Though the location was comfortable and very clean with a friendly worker I can't justify this boba for the price. One huge positive though, they have legit food here which could very much come in handy any time you come with a group or want some bao buns.

Deeeelicious! I got tiger tea and my sister got half sweet Thai tea and we both loved our drinks. The regular boba is sooo good a great texture and brown sugar flavor.

Now with sandwiches! New spot nearby. And I LOVE a good boba so this is a huge plus. Several sandwiches. They have a wide selection of foreign chips/snacks so a great spot for lunch to go if tea isn't your thing. But let's be serious it's all about the tea and this spot has a great selection. I'm more of a traditional milk tea person so I haven't tried any of their refreshers, smoothies, or coffees but I'll eventually sample several. The system isn't as dialed in as nearby WeeTea or Sharetee but in general Hype Tea is a lot faster with orders. Then again that does depend on the day and who is working. Think they've had a lot of turnover so training new employees on all the tea and sandwich builds has got to be tough. If you have time to kill it's easy to sit inside. Lots of great photo ambiance and plenty of spots to sit inside or outside even. You can also order via the Clover app which CAN save you some time. For the previous mentioned nearby Boba spots they make your order and give you an estimated time. Same situation here but some employees will wait until you arrive to make your tea while others will make it as soon as the online order arrives. Solid Boba shop though. Have stopped here on my bike and before/after nearby King Soopers trips. If you're new to Boba or a longtime fan I would certainly check out what the... Hype is all about. Ha.

    Cute decor

A new boba spot by my moms house. I had to check it out. I drive by Hype Tea pretty often. And it's near King Soopers so it makes it a convenient spot after grabbing groceries. I finally had time so I had to stop in. There's so many drink options. Immediately the earl Grey milk tea caught my attention. I am a sucker for a good earl Grey tea. The best I had was in Hong Kong. So I am looking for a good place that serves earl Grey in Colorado. And I got an Italian sandwich. The verdict: the milk tea was on the sweeter side and definitely not my favorite. The boba was okay. If I had no where else to get boba. This place would do but wouldn't be my first choice The sandwich was good but it had a lot of Mayo which kinda overwhelmed the sandwich. Will I be back? Possibly. There's definitely other spots I prefer but if I was in the area and craving boba, I would stop in again. And definitely ask to have the milk tea be less sweet.

Happy to see a boba shop in the area!!! The drinks are great! I've gotten both a milk tea and a fruit tea, both of which were just right. I was not so much a fan of the boba topping itself, i found it not as chewy as other places. But some of my family got their popping boba and they really enjoyed it! The inside is super cute, with a couple tables to sit at, and two areas where you can take your pictures for social media! The space is a bit smaller so not great for larger groups. There also does not seem to be a restroom open to customers from what I could see!

This cute boba spot in Arvada has a variety of boba tea as well as sandwiches. Fast service. Very friendly staff. Cute ambiance. What more could you ask for?

It's one of the best Bona shops I've been to. The sugar cane juice and other drinks. They even have a retro machine for you to play while waiting for your drinks. And the decoration of the shop is cute.

    Fantastic!!

We specifically came here looking for avocado smash but it wasn't on the menu so when we asked, they did their magic and we were able to order one (or two). What we swallowed: *AVOCADO MATCHA CAP WITH PUDDING: This had a great avocado taste. Not necessarily an avocado smash but at least it didn't have a fake taste. The matcha cap was perfect. *MANGO SNOW SLUSH: This was tasty. Not too sweet. *AVOCADO WITH BOBA: Consistent avocado taste. *THAI MILK STRIKE: This was delicious. The employees were friendly and they drinks came out quick. We would definitely come here again!

We got a matcha with boba and a taro with boba. The matcha was good, but the taro tasted like too much artificial powder was used - it tasted buttery and we couldn't finish it. They make it perfectly every single time--not too milky, just the right amount of matcha flavor. It's become my go-to order. The shop itself is super welcoming too. I love all the colorful furniture--it makes the space feel fun and cozy. They also have a bunch of board games, which is such a nice touch if you want to hang out for a while with friends. Like a cheesecake with ube almost. The interior is cute with games available too. Next time I visit I would love to try their fish shaped pastry snacks- the one with Nutella or custard called to me, but I ate a big breakfast this morning and could not justify it. Small family owned business with boba and poke bowls. Lots of personality and wall art inside…read more Probably popular with the community and locals since a lot of the customers I saw coming in and out knew what seemed to be the mom and son duo (I'm just inferring here). It's a longer "narrower" restaurant that spans the counter where you walk past to build your poke bowl. Neat that they have like a loft seating like area next to the window with pillows. A couple tables and chairs here and there and an interesting small stair area. There were people hanging out and studying when I visited. There's something charming about this place. Reminds me of what SoCal was like before the giga overseas boba franchise take over and everything becoming minimalist concrete, bamboo wood, warm light (if you know you know). I love the little cute faces for the sealed lids. It's nostalgic of a lot of the mom and pop tea places we'd go to after high school. The Tiger's Blood Boba milk tea was an interesting mix of pineapple and rose sencha milk tea and the other was a honey flavored Hokkaido milk tea. You can do lots of customization and added toppings, but if you order online you can't really adjust the sugar unfortunately and the drinks do run a bit sweeter than what I normally would have liked. You can either build your own poke bowls or pick from the signature pre-builds. It's a heaping helping of a meal and it's definitely more than enough for a hungry adult. You can easily share a medium bowl as well. It is a bit pricier than what I'm used to for poke bowls, but then again California isn't as land locked as Colorado. I think an issue I had was how mushy the rice was, but other than that the other ingredients were decently fresh. Overall not bad, probably pretty good for this area, but not my favorite from my Denver visit.

We picked it due to…read morethe menu actually naming the type of tea they brew which is usually a sign of higher quality boba. This is a pretty big shop for a boba establishment, but there's mostly a lot of empty space rather than having a ton of seats. Tieguanyin Milk Tea, Large, Honey Boba ($6.85) - I first asked about their sweetness levels and they stated that their full sweetness is much less than chain boba shops and I totally agree. It's probably comparable to 50% sweetness, which makes the drink pleasantly sweet and not cloying, good for my tastes. The drink is expertly blended with non dairy creamer to give plenty of creaminess but not a hint of grit. The tieguanyin is brewed very hard. Hard enough that it has the characteristic bitterness and smokiness of heavily overbrewed tea. It's smoky and tannic and only has a small fruity undertone, which might actually be from the boba honey soak. While it's not the best tea flavor, it's better than a lot of other shops where the tea is secondary to syrups and powders. The boba is nice, marinated so there's a decently sweetness level, with a great chew and bounce. They aren't that consistent in size, but the texture is consistent between pearls. Unfortunately they don't give enough boba. When we still had a third of the drink left to go, all the boba ran out! Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating: 5/5 but -1 for not giving nearly enough for the drink. Overall Tea Street serves some good boba. I'd return next time I visit Denver. It is advertised and signage for both businesses, sharing space and staff. So I will use and address these products together and post each business' Yelp page. We were in Longmont for one of my medical appointments and I knew firm a longtime Yelp fried that there were Michi donuts to be had here and her picture looked like something I wanted to try in the traditionally Japanese treat. I get out this way only a few times a year. WhenI mapped it on Google I found the 2 separate names. It's a cute place and deviated in lots of pink, very trendy these days. We chose our mochi donuts and shown how to order and lay at the kiosks on the wall. We ordered taro, matcha and black sesame. The black sesame was our favorite for both of us though I liked the other two flavors better than my husband did. We both ordered drinks but different ones. I ordered the pear tea with Brien sugar jelly and my husband ordered a green tea with boba. Mine had reduced sugar. The cups looked big but were more ice than fluid than I am used to in other shops in Boulder. But they were both very tasty and complimented the donuts very well. The tables were clean and predominantly empty as most customers were doing take out. The staff was very friendly and helpful but it was unclear to me if the donuts are actually made there, by then. The flavored frostings had a very thin layer and the flavors were lighter than a local shop in the neighboring town where we had some being made in a live kitchen and being served freshly made before our eyes. These were still good but the other place was stellar. Neither are close to home so we will only get to each when in their towns. If you are nearby and looking for a treat, stop in and enjoy. These donuts are chewy and flavorful. The icing they use is really lovely, not too sweet or too much. I love the texture of the mochi donut, its truly unique and the bubble shape is a really fun thing to chow down on. The interior of this location is bright and fresh, though small. Not really a sit down and hang out place, but for the time you take to drop in and get your donuts and go, you are cheered by the bright ambiance. Their tech way of ordering can be confusing at first, but once you go and you figure out what the situation is with ordering, its no big deal. I do make sure to pause for awhile staring at the case before I move on to the order screen tho, because they are not next to one another and I am a visual person. I prefer to point and say "this one" but that isn't an option when you go here, you have to order from the screen that is tucked off away from the counter. Its an adjustment to get used to, but once you go then its easy after the first time. I do really enjoy the offerings here, and hope they continue to be successful here in Longmont.
