This is a great coffee place. We got a hazelnut latte and a white chocolate mocha. The barista offered us many flavor and dairy options. I was impressed by his skill and very impressed with his ability to make a great cup of coffee. This place also has a comfortable vibe and different seating options. You can sit in the main area or there's a room off the side with its own bathroom. This side room is good if you have a group who wants some privacy. Besides coffee the place has pastries and ice cream. There are board games, two guitars and a mandolin if you are inclined to play. In general it's just a comfy place to hang out while you enjoy a great cup of coffee.

It will not be my last visit! Not only was the decor artfully done but it encompassed a somehow cozy yet spacious atmosphere; great vibe. Also anything bee related is a win for me. Various seating arrangements depending on what you're there for. These folx take their coffee seriously. The coffee tasting I purchased a ticket for was expertly hosted (thanks, Bella!) and I learned, sniffed, and tasted a ton. It's evident Sweet Bloom really values the culture of the bean and do their absolute best to keep the industry sustainable, healthy, and filled with people who value the craft and can earn a living practicing it. I'm looking forward to more experiences they host. The coffee itself was of course, delicious and expertly crafted. I stuck with an espresso after the tasting and it was perfect. They also have some delicious pastry options from a local bakery. I had the sausage roll and... Yes. Lots of comfortable seating with outlets. Plenty of people coming in and out with backpacks or laptop bags slung over their shoulders gives the place a chill coworking energy. On both of my visits the baristas have been warm and friendly. I do have to knock down a mark because so far the drinks I've gotten have been just okay. I started with a regular matcha latte which was pleasant but a bit gritty and unremarkable. The second time I tried the ube matcha but sadly the ube didn't really come through and it mostly tasted like the plain matcha I'd had previously. Seems like maybe the coffee drinks are the way to go so I'll have to keep exploring the menu to find my favorites. I will definitely be back here when I'm sick of staring at my laptop inside my apartment and want to stare at my laptop somewhere else instead.

I always get hyped for some boba…read more After a long day at a Renaissance Festival, we were feeling drained and needing a pick me up. Sammy mentioned there was a boba place around the corner from where she lived and we all quickly said yes to going there. We rolled in at dinner time and it wasn't too busy. The interior was bright and colorful with a fun and funky interior. One wall was covered in what looked like manga page prints. Not sure if these were just printed off the internet but it made my heart happy to see some nerd stuff up on the walls, even if I am not a fan of Demon Slayer. Everyone ordered there drink and it was my time. I went for the Medium Vietnamese Coffee but the lady behind the counter said she may not have enough to make a full drink. After looking around for a few minutes, she confirmed that she wouldn't have enough. So, I decided to try the Tiger Milk Tea (Brown Sugar) instead. Once we got our drinks, we chilled for a few minutes before heading to a pool to chill and cool off for the night. I don't know exactly what tiger milk is and wasn't sure if I would like what I ordered but with that first sip, I knew I was in good hands. It took a few sips to adjust to the tiger milk but that drink went down so fast and it was good to the last drop. It's been said on this blog before but it's nice to see boba places popping up here and there. They are refreshing to drink after a long day of activity or a nice treat to have on the occasion. Plus, the boba is fun to eat.
