    Taro Milk Tea

4.5 stars. Need to adjust my original review because I visited Tea Gee again, and the boba was undercooked. I did like the popcorn chicken, though. I hope the quality will become more consistent in the future. I enjoyed the first time I went (when I got Brown Sugar Milk Tea) but it seems to be dependent on who's working that day. Maybe I'll try again someday!

Nicest service I've ever seen I think! The workers were so friendly! And they have a lot of really cool flavors. I got the lime banana green tea. And it was kind of weird as I expected, but it worked and I actually really liked it! But to be fair, I love banana. (I would have loved if there was a banana milk tea option.) There were chunks of banana and some lime pulp inside too. I wasn't the biggest fan of the lime pulp, I thought the lime flavor was strong enough. But that just proves that they're adding real fruit inside! We didn't get any food since we weren't hungry, but it smelled so good. I definitely want to try some next time!

I was craving boba and we stopped at this place right before the airport. I ordered the strawberry green tea and it wasn't terrible. It definitely had more of an artificial flavor to it. The staff were super friendly and the place is cute! The food they had looked yummy.

Cold Jasmine Milk Green Tea and black milk tea

Top tier boba!! They use fresh tea and not powder which makes for a quality boba! I got the jasmine milk tea with lychee jelly 50% sweet and it was perfect. Great flavor profile and the right amount of sweetness. Plenty of seating and fast service. Will be back!

Very pleasant experience coming here. For the bus takers, the 52/76 are right next to it, which is very convenient. I got a rose milk tea (non-dairy!) with 75% sugar (standard), light ice, and boba. I LOVE rose milk teas, but for some reason, very few places carry it. I probably could've gone with 50% sugar but it was still so good. The boba was a bit harder than I prefer -- either not fresh, or not cooked long enough. I tend to be picky with boba, though; I prefer big, squishy boba (think ShareTea or BossTea). Although the boba wasn't my preference, the service and the ambiance (and warm snacks!) were enough to warrant a 5-star rating for me. Was very excited to see popcorn chicken (as well as other snacks) here! I have no idea why so few boba places have warm snacks in Colorado. Many boba places in California offer warm snacks to accompany their drinks, but I rarely see that here. So thanks TeaGee, you're absolutely doing this right! I prefer a crunchier popcorn chicken, but this was super reasonably priced (~$7 I believe) and not too greasy/or fatty. I asked for chili powder on the side, which the woman who rang me up kindly did. Both the boba + chicken amounted to $14.87, before tip. This place definitely has that clean and modern look that all boba places have, which truthfully I'm not a fan of (I like cozier vibes), but is better than most in that the chairs have cushions and are quite comfy. There is wifi here and the music is at a very appropriate volume -- I am sensitive to loud music so I definitely noticed/appreciated this. The two people working were very pleasant. Definitely had a little banter going on, too, but I could not eavesdrop due to the language barrier LOL... All the customers that came in after me seemed to have very pleasant interactions as well -- I heard many laughs! Arvada is a bit out of the way for me, but I will absolutely be back in the future if I am in the area!

For all the time I've spent in this general area, I don't know how or why I have never been to…read moreBardo before now. It is such a gem! My sister used to go regularly when she was in school and let me know that the hours were super awesome for that routine - open at 6am, closed at midnight. Perfect for an early morning study session or late night cram. Or if you're just in the mood for all-hours coffee! Parking is admittedly a bit cramped in the front and pretty awkward to get out of if it's busy, but there is a lot behind the building with more space. There are a surprising number of tables and comfy chairs inside, and the vibe is kinda retro which my sister and I both really love. Their menu is pretty big and they also had a ton of holiday drinks to choose from. My sister has raved about the coffee they use (kaladi), so I got a drip coffee and since I wanted a little festive treat, I also got "the grinch" lol, which was a matcha latte with oat milk and pistachio. Take a wild guess which cup was mine in the photo. My sister got a hazelnut latte, which also came out really pretty. The coffees were ready very quickly, and we were able to find a little table near the back of the shop. Our three drinks (all 12oz) came out to about $16 which I think is pretty on par with specialty coffee drinks, so I felt it was worth the price. The one girl we interacted with at the counter was super friendly, too! It seems to be a very popular spot, which doesn't surprise me even a little bit, and I cannot wait to come back again to try other drinks!

Ambiance was great staff is nice but not careful with allergies…read more I have a bad dairy allergy and ordered a vegan burrito for myself and a chorizo burrito for my husband. The to go bag had a chorizo burrito labeled and another burrito with no label so I asked to confirm it was vegan because I saw cheese coming out of it when I unwrapped it before we left. They confirmed it was vegan and that the vegan burrito had vegan cheese. we walked home, I took a bite and it was full cheese and bacon. I called and asked if I got the wrong order and they said it was human error & refunded me. The people are really nice but I don't really trust them. My hope with this review is that others with allergies really thoroughly check their orders. I'd also like to see the restaurant put protocols into place to make sure orders are correct so that no one gets severely sick in the future. (Especially when they double check the order with staff.) I know human error happens but I'm not sure there are any precautions in place to help make sure this doesn't happen.

The ambiance and store is beautiful, many catchups and friendly meetings around us. I grabbed the cloud matcha and was in heaven. Each sip I was sad to drink, since it would mean the experience would be over soon! It inspired me to try and make a cloud matcha, but I couldn't match this level. Truly a phenomenal spot, try it out! It's a bit out of the main **since this happened, I've made multiple cloud matchas. I knew of this place, but had never been until the new year began after it was recommended to me by another Yelp Elite (shout out Caroline!). From the outside looking in, you might not know this is a coffee shop. Very minimal signage from 38th. However when you walk in, you are greeted with smiles and a warm welcome almost instantaneously. They brand themselves as an Indonesian specialty coffee shop. I think it's cool that they've have a special Lunar New Year menu. And their pastry game is top notch, sourcing from heavy hitters like GetRight's and Banh & Butter. But for me, I can't help myself from ordering their espresso tonic. They pair the espresso with a coconut yuzu tonic, with a hint of vanilla, and a dried lemon wheel for garnish. It's sweeter than what I typically enjoy, however it's so damn delicious and refreshing! OBSESSED. It normally gets crowded in here, with plenty of people like me working remotely on their laptops. The owners are also extremely nice and have been behind the counter every time I've been. Coffeegraph has quickly risen to the core of my coffee shop rotation! I hope you give 'em a try!
