Today, I was town between the Ube Matcha, Egg Coffee, Matcha Coffee, and Banana Coffee. So I asked the barista for her preference, and when she said the Coconut Coffee, I knew I'd found my order for the day. But trust and believe I will be back to try all the aforementioned!

I really love a BBQ pork bahn mi in the summer. It's a warm sandwich, but the fresh veggies make it crisp and light. If you were thinking about getting a fast food sandwich, try a Bahn Mi instead. Just as fast, but probably more healthier for you, and certainly more delicious and fresher than a Subway, Firehouse, Snarf's, Jimmy John's, or Jersey Mikes sandwich. If you're a coffee lover- the coffee here is legitimately delicious. My go-to is a Marble latte with oat milk and 50% of the sugar. It's so much better than anything I've had at Starbucks.

They have limited seating, but my cousin managed to snag a table where we were able to have a nice conversation. Some places are too loud. Cozy Coffee was not. I didn't even notice any background music, and that's fine if you want to be able to talk, which we did. A lot, for a bit over an hour. We each had a quiche. Hers had bacon. Mine was vegetarian. Mine was tasty enough, as the onion came through the other flavors, which I happen to like. She would have liked some salt, but apparently none was available at the counter. She had a chai latte and I had a green tea matcha with coconut milk. I didn't notice until I got to the bottom, but the coconut was mostly on the bottom. I brought an almond croissant home, which we haven't tried yet. I think I read that they make most of their pastries, so hopefully it's good. I can add to this later if it isn't. What most should know is that they have signage all over the place that says you can't hoard a table and wifi for more than 2 hours. It's obviously a well-liked coffee shop. Too bad it's too small a space.

The pastries did look good but we were going to lunch so skipped on them for now. 'My partner was excited that they do use Corvus beans for their coffee since there isn't a Corvus near us. Matcha was good but nothing spectacular that stood out. Now what did stand out was the size of the cups. I haven't seen a small look like that in so long. The large actually looked like what a large used to be. So many places, a large looks like Cozy Coffees small. I saw people who ordered a flight and the flights were huge instead of small tall glasses that are doubled a shot glass. Very cool to see.

Clearly a lot of love goes into this spot and the intention to make it a neighborhood welcoming space. Whether you're here to get work done solo, catch up with friends, or have a small business meeting, W&H has you covered. They also have a free book library on side with books for adults and kiddos. For coffee, I loved their permanent menu as well as their seasonal options. There is something for everyone. I only went with caffeinated bevvies, but they look to have a full bar if you want to be more into a party mode. Their food menu is also on point. I had a delicious amped up grilled cheese (with prosciutto and pickles) with a tasty arugula salad. It was reasonably priced, came out quickly and most importantly... Delicious. I would happily return to Wolf and Honey and bring along some friends and family. Keep on crushing it!

The Accidental Brewery Stop That Felt Like Home…read more Sometimes the best brewery visits are the ones you weren't even planning. I was wandering around Brighton during the first Denver Broncos game of the season and randomly thought, "Let's try this brewery today." That little decision turned into one hell of a find. Something Brewery has that laid~back, industrial taproom vibe that immediately makes you want to pull up a stool and stay awhile. The beer lineup gave me plenty to explore, but honestly, the people are what sealed the deal. John behind the bar was absolutely crushing it~friendly, energetic, welcoming, and exactly the kind of beertender who makes a first~time visitor feel like a regular. Everyone around the place had that same welcoming energy. And then there's the arcade room. Yeah... this place understands the assignment. You can battle it out over live~action Battleship for a chance to win a FREE ROUND, grab crowlers, enjoy the on-site wood-fired pizza, and apparently make a whole afternoon/evening out of it. They also rotate local food trucks on weekends, and the BYO~food policy means you can grab something from nearby and bring it in. The taproom has character, the beer delivers, the people are fantastic, and the atmosphere feels genuinely community-driven. And I haven't even experienced the huge outdoor patio yet. So apparently I accidentally found another place I'm going to have to come back to. Something Brewery: sometimes you don't find the brewery... the brewery finds you.
