The menu offers a wide variety of classic milk teas, fruit teas, slushes, and specialty drinks. You can customize sugar and ice levels, which is always a plus. The boba pearls are typically soft and chewy, and drinks come out quickly even when there's a small line. We got the brown sugar boba, which was good though a little on the sweeter side. This location also serves food like popcorn chicken, which is crispy and well-seasoned, a solid pairing with any drink. Service is generally friendly and efficient, with staff keeping orders moving at a steady pace. Prices are about what you'd expect for bubble tea in the area. Overall, Vivi Bubble Tea Brighton is a dependable go-to for sweet, refreshing drinks and a convenient pick-me-up whenever the craving hits.

We stopped by while walking around Newbury Street and ordered the Peach Lemon Oolong, which turned out to be incredibly refreshing. The drink had a light oolong tea base with a bright peach and lemon flavor that made it perfect for a warm day. The place was fully packed with people waiting for drinks, which shows how much locals and visitors love it. Even with the crowd, the drink was definitely worth the wait. The menu has a lot of creative tea combinations, and it's a great place to stop for a refreshing drink while exploring Newbury Street. If you enjoy tea drinks or are looking for something different from the usual coffee spots in Boston, Ten One Tea House is definitely worth trying.

We made the 20 min drive to Dorchester to check out Bambu, which is a chain with many location in California. I got the che 3 mau aka the tri color dessert which is a classic that I usually get at other places. It was "not too sweet" which is an elite Asian compliment. Didn't have too much ice either and was perfectly yummy and satisfied the craving. Staff was very helpful and I was thankful they were so patient with us even though we came 40 min before closing (lol sorry!) Only complaint was that it was quite expensive for what it was, but that's just how it is in Boston in 2026 I guess.

Got both to qualify for free delivery with UberOne but didn't enjoy the durian smoothie at all. I knew that I probably wouldn't enjoy it before even trying it, based off the smell. It wasn't pungent enough LOL. It tasted very artificial and my guess is they used powder. I found the che to be too sweet. It came with a separate ball of ice (in a plastic bag hahahah) to add to dilute it a bit since the che only had the jellies and condensed milk. Mine had ~4 lychees, very little jackfruit that didn't even taste like jackfruit, and a bunch of red tapioca + green jelly. Overall, it didn't really satisfy my cravings unfortunately. It's too bad because I remember liking Bambu many years ago.

Their coffee options are incredible (so many options!) and I always gravitate toward their breakfast sandwich. It's on this big, poofy ciabattino roll with egg, cheese, and arugula, and it is so satisfyingly rich but not too, too heavy. (You can add meat, too, although I think it's good as is.) Their Vietnamese cold brew is a must-try. I know some reviewers didn't love it, but for me, it's pure bike fuel: Cafe du Monde cold brew with condensed milk...and that color gradient! Oh, it's gorgeous. They don't mix it in advance, so every sip is a swirl from brown to creamy white. On a holiday (Juneteenth), I even biked over to grab the breakfast taco for my coworkers who had to be at work for a bit, and they raved about it too. It's always buzzing, especially on weekends, but now that it's good weather out, they recently added outdoor seating. What a fun, local, charming coffee spot, and honestly, I think it's the best one in Brighton.

It's an artsy, natural environment that feels like a total sanctuary if you need to put your head down and get some work done or just chill with a cup of tea. While you're waiting for your drink, they have this really lovely community wall that's so sweet to read through. You can genuinely feel the sense of community in there, which makes the whole place feel super welcoming. However, I'd probably skip the Vietnamese coffee next time. It didn't quite hit the mark for authenticity; the condensed milk felt a bit watered down and the coffee itself wasn't nearly concentrated enough to give it that signature kick. It's a beautiful place to sit and relax, and I'd totally go back to try something else on the menu, but the Viet coffee was a bit of a letdown. Go for the peace and quiet and the heartwarming community vibes, but maybe pivot to a different drink!

The tea, for all the aesthetics, is indistinguishable from Kung Fu. Except maybe they're stingier with the balls. Especially if you're charging $10. $10 in Allston gets me an ulcer's-worth of dumplings. So paying that for a tea bag and a handful of boba ain't it.
