Found this place by chance and glad I did. Huge dining room. Friendly staff and fresh sushi. I ordered the chirashi and they were kind of enough to exclude my not so favorites (mackerel and sea urchin) . The sushi was fresh and the rice was tender and sweet. I particularly like the way they served the white tuna, by putting just a few toasted garlic pieces on it. I ordered an encore set of these with some unagi. I spoke with a very lovely young lady server named J.C. She was managing the floor, and very well at that. She seemed to be training a new employee, and commanded the situation well, especially with a growing dining room. The only thing that could be better is the miso soup served to me was just warm enough to eat, but not hot. It didn't stop me from drinking it all, as the flavor was good. Went here for a linner date. I got there early so ordered some hot sake, seaweed salad and ribeye bites. The table top was super sticky. I was 1 of 4 people in the restaurant. She took about 10 minutes to bring sake. She had disappeared for whatever reason. Seaweed salad and ribeye came out fast. Salad was slimy. Tried one bite of the ribeye and I had to spit it out. It was too cheeey I couldn't swallow it. My friend was running late so I drank the sake. Before he got there I recorded a hot sake and a beer. I ordered the spiciest roll they had. And my friend ordered some nigiri sushi and a ramen bowel with extra egg. Our food came out and no beer. My roll came out about 10 minutes after my friends food. I ate two pieces. It was not spicy at all. Rice was not fresh. My friends ramen was not hot, not even warm. His noodles were hard. If that all wasn't enough you had to constantly swipe at nats, and keep beverages covered. Too bad. Was excited. Won't be going there. Good beer. read more

We got seated immediately, very nice to have no wait time. The restaurant was on the quiet side, a little darker, sports on TV, and option to sit at bar and watch the sushi man do his thing. If you're wanting a flavorful ramen this is not it, though the noodles had a nice chewy texture. The broth lacks flavor but could have just been an off day in the kitchen. The egg was forgotten but when it came out it wasn't anything special. Sushi-- very good. Miso- wonderful, warm, umami flavor. We each ordered two rolls, and it ended up being way more than we could eat! The fish was very fresh and the flavors excellent. The server must've come around six or seven times in the hour we sat there offering more water. Which is good because my Roll was quite spicy! I ordered the kamikaze and the Kumagoro roll. Wow! The salmon Nigiri and Sashimi here is amazing. Melts in your mouth! All the rols here are fantastic. They also make poki bowls that are fantastic. The other crazy yummy thing here is the Kumagaroo steak. The steak is Amazing!! The other amazing thing here is the service. DINO the sushi chef is very helpful and professional and definitely knows his stuff. The inside of the restaurant is very Very plain. They have two huge TVs but they don't have cable options that they did before. Owner doesn't want to pay for it...crazy bc the TV showing a game would have kept the sushi bar full and kept people eating and drinking the great food. I would definitely come back to this place. The squid salad was good. It actually is a good stand alone snack. I wasn't amazed with the kamikaze roll simply because of the sriracha sauce, I felt this masked the taste of food. My brother called this restaurant in advance and ordered their special, which was to order 5 rolls (under $20) for a total of $60. What a steal! We ordered their poki roll, Alyeska roll, yellowtail roll, Lion King, and dragon roll. This fed 3 adults quite well, we almost didn't finish. The poki roll was particularly interesting as the sushi roll had poke on top of it with apple and an assortment of fish. The dragon roll was delicious with fresh eel on top and all in all, it was delicious. A side of wasabi and ginger was added to the large sushi plate. I highly recommend ordering the Alyeska roll, I absolutely love mayo and the creaminess it adds to the sushi gives it a kick. Out of the 5 rolls, the yellowtail was the most conservative sushi roll in terms of taste. The presentation was gorgeous with the jalapeno delicately added to each cut of sushi. The Ramen broth was just a salty liquid with no bonito flavor. Mine has very little corn, 1 pc of pork, some seaweed, just pitiful. The miso chasumen had no miso paste in it at all. The new owners don't seem to know or appreciate Japanese cooking. I would never go back. read more

I have eaten sushi in every major city in the entire country and this is hands down the worst experience I have ever had. The server and sushi chef were fine. No hate to them. But it was the most over priced sushi I have ever had. Mid fish, tasted like 7/11 sushi, I got a salmon avocado roll and spicy tuna. My total was $32. FOR TWO ROLLS. Plus tip I walked out paying $38 for two rolls and a Diet Coke. If that wasn't the cherry on top, I got up for 5 minutes to go to the bathroom, and they threw all of my food away. Ordered here twice now. I have a little bit of an obsession with Ramen, so of course I had i try it. The first time i tried the Shoyu Ramen and Fried Rice. Fried Rice was good but shoyu ramen was a little fishy for my taste. The second time I ordered I got Katsu Ramen and Sesame Chicken. Sesame chicken wasn't crispy, but didn't lack in flavor. It was much better than I expected, but if you are looking for crispy, I don't recommend. The katsu ramen was WAY fishier this time than the last time I ordered ramen.
