I came to KT Nails on a Sunday, as they were the only place open in Ripon. The man who did my nails was extremely rude. While he was filing my pinky nail, the skin near the top of my finger started to burn. I told him it hurt, but he continued to file, slicing open the skin. At that point I pulled my hand away and showed him the cut. He told me I should have told him it hurt (which I DID) and then continued with my manicure. He was halfway done with my nails when a woman came in complaining about a rash that had developed since she'd gotten a pedicure the day before. The man who was doing my nails stopped and went to the back of the shop. He returned with some kind of ointment and attempted to apply it to the woman's rash without even asking her if that was okay. She asked what was in the ointment, but he didn't know. She eventually got her money back and left. Not only was my finger sliced (it was deep enough to the point where the cut was visible for over a week), but I left the establishment wondering if I too would end up with a rash on my hand (I never ended up getting one, thank GOD). I do not recommend to anyone. read more

I still come here every time I need a pedi! It's my go to place. Their gel nail polish for pedicures is only $25 which is way cheaper than any other place here in Ripon. Their gel last up to 3 months on my toes. The only reason I go to get them done again is because my toes have grown, I've never had the polish chip! read more

Went in on a Monday to treat my almost 5 yr old to a birthday pedicure since our usual place was closed. Couldn't accommodate myself and my daughter because she was "too short". Went to Classy's instead. read more

I just came here for first time. Got a pedi (my nails were nasty) and my daughter got a bunch of stuff done. This is an excellent place. Really thorough. Courteous. They take their time. Very competitively priced. I've been to the other one across town near SaveMart. This one was better in my opinion. Only good things to say. read more

They were very bad, the women who did my nails made them shorter than I wanted and I asked for coffin shape but my nails look nothing like coffin and and she painted them wrong as well along with making my nails unequal and when I told her all these things in the end, she blamed it on me saying that I should've told her earlier. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I will not be ever going here again. read more

Decided to give this place another try a while ago and it is much better! The staff is very friendly and they even hired more people and they all do great work and it's probably one of the most affordable nail salons I've gone to around here. Since last time I reviewed I've gotten my nails done again and they lasted much better and look great! This is my go to place now! read more

VERY RUDE VERY RUDE CHEAP NAIL POLISH DONT GO!!!!!!! I went in to get a French tip done. The staff was in a hurry and there were barely 4 other customers there. I paid and literally 7 days later went back bc the nail Polish was cracking which has NEVER happened to me before. The lady was very rude and giving me attitude while redoing my French tip polish. She asked if I was new to getting my nails done... I answered back no, I usually go to this place in Tracy. She said "well maybe you should go back there then." I'm giving two stars because usually I get pretty good service. This last time, for my wedding, it was awful!! I called 3 weeks in advance to let them know a bridal party of 4 would be coming in for pedicures and manicures. They were understaffed. My 3 daughters had beautiful results. They were finished before anyone even started on mine. I asked for thin, oval shaped acrylics. I got short, fat, uneven round nails. I hated them!! Wouldn't even let the photographer photograph them. This girl..... I asked for a manicure and she cut my nails way to short and start yawing the drill to shave off my nail. And started to put glue on my fingers. She didn't speak English so I have to ask someone to stop here because I didn't want extensions. So my nails are now hecka short and ratchet. Never go here they suck. read more

3 of my nails chipped off just 2 days after getting them done when the guy assured me they wouldn't break off quickly!!! I went in for removal of the rest of my acrylics and the same guy who did my nails charged me 7$ and I didn't get my refund either. this is the worst nail place in Ripon. read more

This place was such a perfect little salon up until this weekend when I went in for a routine fill and the only person who can actually do quality acrylic nails was not in.....she wouldn't be available anytime during the day...which is when I can come in so I was out of luck I got stuck with the woman's husband who was horrible and rude. Sure nuff a nail breaks 2 days later and this guy tells me it's my fault lol. Um actually no all my nails are already lifting so pretty sure it was the horrible job done to my nails. He then proceeds to fix my nail while extremely agitated and presses the nail gun so hard into my nail bed that I began to bleed. I will NEVER COME BACK I don't recommend you do either read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. First bad experience the male owner was painting my nails and did a horrible job. I came back because one peeled after a day and he painted it a different color than the rest. I said this is a different color - he refused to change the color. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I came back a second time and got a young sweet girl who really had no idea what she was doing. I asked her how long she had been doing nails, just to make conversation, and she looked at the male owner with big eyes and said just recently. She didn't clean any of my cuticles and took 2 hours to do a routine pedicure. I will never come back here. read more

I used to love this place, but went in last weekend for a pedicure and it was a whole new group of girls, not friendly. Pedicure massage was terrible cuticles were not done properly and foot scrub lasted less than a minute. Was so disappointed, time to find a new place. read more

This is the worst i have ever been too. I got acrylics done and 1 day after 3 of my nails chipped and have of my coffin shaped nails were crooked, so i went in and the asain guy told me to come in on Thursday. Now it is Thursday i go in and he starts doing my nails fixing the uneven ones and the ones that are chipped off. When he starts filling them down he makes it even worse. I tell him it is still crooked. I have powder all over my hand and my nails are SO UNEVEN. He asks me "They good?" I point and say no these are crooked, he gets up says he is done goes to his purse and THROWS ME MY MONEY BACK. Than makes me leave with my nails SO BAD. read more

Best pedicures ever! As a nurse I try and take care of my feet as much as I can. I come in every month to KT Nails for the same pedicure and they never disappoint. Their prices are great for the service you receive. I pretty much always do walk-ins, and it may just be my luck, but I never wait for more than 10 minutes. read more

I unfortunately tried this place on a Sunday because I needed my nails done last minute and my normal salon isn't open on Sunday's. My nails were done by two different people off and on as they each took turns eating corn on the cob in the lobby(gross!) I know nails are ever perfect but my acrylic nails were pointing in ever different direction. It was awful. Not one person spoke to me or explained why they shared the task. The color was pretty but when people asked to see my nails we would get the giggles by the terrible job, it was embarrassing walking around with these nails. No one but me was in there until one girl walked in saying she had a full set of acrylics put on the day before and they all FELL OFF. I wanted to run at that point but foolishly stayed. I had gel nail polish done and they didn't use the alcohol to wipe them after so immediately I had fuzz from my jeans on my nails when I walked out. I would never go to this place again. Don't waste your money! There's a reason they are one of the only places open on Sunday's.. My guess is because people who want nails have no other options on that day! read more
