Had such an amazing experience here! They are true to their appointment time and the 3 nail techs that assisted us were fantastic! Everything was so clean and well ventilated. I'm not a fan of nail salons that smell like acetone. This place definitely smelled plain ole normal! Can't wait to go back!

Idk where to start, this place deserves no stars . I'm not the type to leave a review this is my first time review ever this place is horrible they're rude they rush had to fix my nail three times had to have someone else do it and then they still overcharge me fucking disgusting never going back again.

He used a very rough nail file and filed down my skin on just about every one of my fingers.

They deserve no star. Cole did my dipping powder manicure and instead of using nail clippers he filed down the skin on just about every one of my fingers to round them out. Leaving my skin raw and open and it's been a week and it still hurts. Will never go to this place again it's the second time I've used it in one years time and it's just as bad this year as it was last year.

Lee works wonders! Love how beautifully my nails always turn out! He's your man for the ombré nail look-- I've gone elsewhere to get these done but no one can pull this look. Definitely the place to go!

I come here often to get my nails done after I tan at tanmax next door. KT always does a decent job so I was in shock after this experience. I had a really important interview today and my nails looked soo ratchet. When I called they were also rude about it.

So upset that i even took a chance at this place. I came for a gel pedicure. The lady started i could tell she was already upset for whatever reason. Anyways she started the pedicure which was great however she OVERLY filed my toe nails and while using the electric filer she kept chipping the nails on the corners. I then checked my nails, only to find out that my toe nails are now throwing up gang signs i ask her to cut them to be even but instead she continued to file them down even more. At this point i didn't even let her put the gel on i just asked for a clean coat, paid and will not return. read more

It makes me sad how anyone could NOT rate this 5 stars - truly. I have been going to KT Nails for over 4 years and I will continue to go for however long I'm living in this area. Very inexpensive and reasonable for the service and quality you're receiving! I will say that sometimes they feel a little short staffed but that's why it's necessary to make an appointment cause they are WORTH IT. Lee has always been so intricate and pays attentions to detail. Really recommend! read more

Felt the urge to spoil myself so I decided to get my nails done, and went to the closet place by my house. That was a smart idea! This place was awesome, it was busy and all the employees seemed to know every single customer that walked in, they were quick and my nails look awesome. Since moving to Arizona and have lived all over the valley, this has been my best experience at a nail salon. Best news: they are completely inexpensive. I definitely will be back in 2-3 weeks for my fill :) P.S. It is best to call ahead and make an appointment just so you don't get stuck waiting a long time.. read more

When I moved to Tempe trying to find a nail salon I wanted to become loyal to was difficult. There's a ton of them around but I was never completely satisfied until this place. Ever since I started coming here it's impossible for me to go anywhere else! I've never had a poor experience and that's rare for me cause I'm picky with my nails/toes! I recently moved to the area and needed my nails done. I just drove around until I found a place, and I came upon KT Nails. It was a monday evening, and I was the only one when I walked in. I was instantly greeted and escorted to a seat. I got a gel polish, and a pedicure. The service was great and the price was good as well. Lots of other people came in while I was getting serviced, and the staff was very friendly. I want to check out a couple other places in the area, but I can see myself going back. read more

Every time I come here Lee is always so helpful and does an amazing job on my nails. He always makes sure I am happy with the shape and color. Today I decided to go with a coffin shape instead of the square/round I usually stick to and so far I love it! He took his time shaping each nail and did exactly as I asked! Also, he took time to help me pick out a good color. Definitely my favorite nail place. read more

The owner is extremely rude with poor manners! I did SNS there and it kept chipping in the next day and I kept going back and because of their low quality powder and their lack of knowledge the owner told me not to come there anymore which I found extremely rude ! No apologies or nothing because of their work! There are so many good nail salons out there in the area ! Don't go there! read more

I just moved into this area and came around 6pm for a gel manicure and try the place out. They don't even have a front desk person to greet you. A guy just asked what I wanted and then said that they didn't have any available times (they close at 7pm) and he didn't even look at me. Why have the sign that says "walk ins welcome" if you don't welcome them? I would never recommend this place! First impressions are everything. read more

This place my look "cute" but beware.I had my eyebrows waxed . It was terrible.I asked the tech if she can shape my eyebrows. She did just the opposite, she thinned them ,left bare places in my brows and shortened them .Its been months and they are still not back to their original fullness. 1 star is too much for this dump. read more

These guys were fast and professional and did the most beautiful chrome nails I've ever had! I'll post a picture. The nail tech who did my 10-yr-old's gel manicure was so sweet to her as well. Some nail salons treat kids like crap, but not this one. That means a lot. I'll definitely be back. read more

Ivan and Lee are amazing and really take their time to make sure you like your nails. They are extremely friendly and do excellent work. Everyone else rushes your service. I had an SNS manicure done by the young girl. It seemed like it was her first one as she was shaking and did the manicure in the strangest order. Did my cuticles last?? My nails were all different shapes and lengths even after I told her multiple times to match them. The other woman who works there is extremely rude and really doesn't want to ever work. Came back today because Lee is amazing. I don't know if the woman in there is the owner or co owner but she's rude. Has HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Said to me at the end of painting my nails "you're done" and just got up and walked away. read more

Katie is great, very talented at free hand design. The only thing that's even remotely negative is that her husband thinks that he's a stand up comedian, but it's often very hard to understand him. He also seldom turns it off. If you have patients for people like that, it's a great environment. Their prices are very good and the service is better than other salons that I've tried in the valley read more

This is a fantastic place to get your nails done! It is an extremely clean nail salon! Everybody that works there is friendly and does a great job with manicures & pedicures. Their products are good quality - I get acrylic with a gel manicure & they easily last 3 weeks - can go a month if I'm not being too picky! I like to find nail art on Pintrest & Lee is always able to create what I'm looking for & he also has some awesome ideas of his own. I've been going to them for almost 2 years now. Lee is very sweet and so are the rest of the staff. They are very clean, the ambiance is great, they have tons of colors to pick from, any time a nail breaks or something goes wrong they'll fix it, and they're the only ones who really make my nails just the way I like them. They're great. I moved a little farther away and I still go back to them any time I need my nails done. read more

He is always willing to do whatever designs, shape and look I am going for at the time and execute it beautifully! They also offer a large assortment of chrome nail colors at a great price. I'm actually a little stunned at the number of excellent reviews. I went for just a basic manicure the other day. I don't wear nail polish or do dip or gel or anything like that. So I got there and they set me down with an older lady. She pulls out a plastic pencil box that has her utensils in them. They are not sealed, they are not in disinfectant liquid, nothing... They are just tools in a pencil box. I've gotten my nails done many other places and almost always, the technician pulls out tools that are sealed in the packages that they use to sterilize. So she takes the tools out of the pencil box and begins to use them on my nails. She doesn't clean or sterilize them first. So my nails are medium length but a little uneven so she asked me if I want her to clip my nails short and I said no, I like the length but I just wanted them evened up. So she takes the clippers and clips all of my fingernails fairly short. Not at all what I wanted but, not a huge deal... Fingernails grow. But as she's cleaning up my cuticles, she nicks three of my fingers. Normally, not a huge deal. But since I know that these utensils have not been sterilized, I'm a little concerned about being nicked on three of my fingers. The manicure ended and it was fine, my nails looked fine. I don't get nail polish or anything like that so I wasn't expecting anything spectacular but the lack of sanitation and the fact that I was cut three times means that I will not be back. read more

First time i have ever been here. I came because, i had a coupon i got a mani and pedi for only $28.00 . Can't beat that in any way. They are very clean everything is sterile. I always pay attention to this. I got black and silver for Halloween. The lady took a little longer than usual but, she did a wonderful job and gave me a great leg massage even with hot stones. They open at 9:30am which is fantastic! because we are all so busy. Lots of parking in the lot. I will be back. read more

I got just gel nail polish and it has lasted for two weeks. No chips ! For only 25$, and employees are friendly as well. My friend even didn't like how one of the guys did her nails and they redid it with no attitude or extra charge. Can't wait to get my nails again! read more

I can't quite figure out how these people are doing better business than Katie use to do. I went to Katie weekly for years, because she was fabulous at what she did. First time I returned after she sold, the shop is completely packed. Instead of telling me that there was a ridiculous wait, I sat in the lobby for 30 minutes. Then was moved to the pedi station, where I sat for an additional 30 minutes. The girl who did my pedi was horrible. I could have done a better job myself at home. Then I get to the mani station. The arrogant woman doing my nails has an overblown opinion of her work. When I told her that I was a faithful client of Katie, they bad mouthed her, which is unprofessional and pathetic. Then after being told how much better and more attractive they were, she proceeded to give me one of the worst and over priced full sets I've ever gotten. read more

The same man who greeted me then came back and asked what I wanted and why I was there, which was confusing and unprofessional. When the pedicure finally started, the nail tech cut me twice, badly enough that I was bleeding and she had to apply pressure for a while to stop it. I was also nicked several other times on both feet. It was painful and careless. When it was time for polish, I still had the moisturizing mask on with towels wrapped around my legs. The tech told me she would be back and that someone else would do the polish. After the second tech finished painting my toes, she left. I waited about 15 minutes for my polish to dry, assuming the original tech would return to remove the mask and towels--but she didn't. Instead, I saw her start a brand-new pedicure on another customer. I ended up wiping off the mask myself, paid my bill, and left. I skipped the gel manicure entirely and did not leave a tip. I will never return and would not recommend this place to anyone. Don't go.

Especially when you're getting the same service repeatedly. Basic finishing steps were skipped, like properly filing the sides after curing to clean up excess gel and prevent lifting. Small details, but they make a big difference and signal the level of care being put in. The salon itself is cute and well-kept, but the experience just doesn't match the aesthetic. Overall, it lands firmly in the "mediocre" category and at this price point, that's a tough sell.

First and foremost, I don't like the energy in there. There's a wonderful lady that did my pedicure who was great, but the one girl, Anne (Annie, not sure)? Always has an attitude. It's not an obvious one, but an undertone that any smart female can pick up on. I'm sorry, why are you having an attitude with me when I'm a customer and you're working there? She always looks annoyed, rolls her eyes, and says "pick your color." That's all fine, but that's the other problem. I asked for a simple color, butter yellow that they had as an option, and they didn't even carry it. Instead, I paid an absurd amount of money for a color I didn't even like, an unfriendly atmosphere and no innovation. I'd like to pay extra and ask for some nail art or at least some French/swirls with cool touches and they didn't even have yellow?!? Don't worry, I won't be coming back. Also please don't respond with a "we're sorry you've had this experience" general note because I've made up my mind & will be going elsewhere. Good luck babe!

KT Nails and Spa is under new management. The best technician Lee no longer works here. I have been going to Lee for 4 plus years. I have witnessed this new owner yell and mis treated her employee. I am so disappointed that all the good workers have left within months of the new management taking over. I wish I know where Lee moved too. I would drive anywhere for his service. read more

Lee is great, I don't go to anyone else for my acrylics. I recommend calling ahead for an appointment, they get busy because they're that good! It's super annoying when people come in and get an attitude after finding out they have to wait/come back later. So, depending on when you come in, you might have to wait if you don't call ahead. Worth it though. read more
