To be perfectly frank, I wanted to give 3 stars since this was a fairly ordinary brunch without any frills. But the flavors were solid enough that I couldn't justify going below 4 stars - so here we are, rounded up. I ordered the pesto toast with eggs, and I did really enjoy the rich pesto sauce. I'm glad I didn't go for the ricotta pancakes, which I sampled - the cream on top was very promising, but the flavors were on the more neutral side. Next time I'll try the breakfast gnocchi, which seems to be the fan favorite.
Tried takeout from here recently and the highlights were the salmon and brussels! The fish was so crispy and had a yummy tomato-based sauce, the french lentils it came with weren't my favorite especially when it said it'd have a side of pilaf online. The brussels were perfectly cooked and had a delicious sauce. I've had the lamb burger from here as well and the toppings were a tad sweet for me even though it was still good and well cooked, it felt like a kale cranberry goat cheese salad on top of an otherwise delicious patty. The cod croquettes were tasty but not a must in my opinion. Overall I enjoy the food here and hope to come back soon, they have a very extensive menu and so much to try!
Excellent service, great food from a wide variety of backgrounds, and both indoor and outdoor seating including a back patio. The lemon ricotta blueberry pancakes were calling our name so we split them 3 ways as an appetizer. It was a great way to start, which we followed with Brussels sprouts (crisply fried and not at all greasy). Afterwards, my friend and I split the gnocchi bolognese and my mother got the eggs with avocado served on toast. We were surprised when her meal came out as a toast but it tasted delicious and the eggs were super fresh. The gnocchi was incredibly light and perfect to share; the bolognese sauce was the perfect ratio of vegetables to meat. The waiters changed silverware between courses, gave us recommendations, sat us in the backyard upon asking. I really liked the backyard seating with the retractable cloth cover and the gardenesque planters with flowers. I also liked the ice coffee.
Good food, good service. Menu is fun and different but based on American classics. Outdoor patio is cute but a bit dark at night.
Not sure why it's called Krupa Grocery. Oh, I see. The online description says the storefront used to be a grocery. Now it's a chill little cafe/ bar in Park Slope with very nice menu. There are two tables for outdoor seating. As my daughter and I were about to walk by on a sunny Sunday, we decided to stop for a snack. We peeked inside and a server led us back outside to be seated. She also took our order of Mahi Mahi Ceviche and Farro Quinoa Salad. I ordered a Kyoto ice coffee which very good but strong. My daughter ordered a virgin Blood Orange Arnold Palmer which was delicious. The food arrived quickly. The ceviche was super fresh. The salad was beautiful, colorful and tasted even better than it looked. I'm not sure when I'll be by this way again. If you're in the area, this is a great place for exceptional food, drink and a pause long enough to soak in some sunshine and savor life.
I do really enjoy Krupa, they have a fun selection of small plates (better for sharing). I also love the iced coffee on tap. But ultimately, I think their prices are a bit too much for the final product.
The food was pretty good, seems like a great neighborhood hang. We had the lamb burger and some apps, i would definitely come back. Super cozy inside and out, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I've never had boiled peanuts before but now I can't stop thinking about them.

On the advice of our friends who live near Prospect Park, we had a delicious dinner at Krupa Grocery. Before writing my review, I read many of the other 5 STAR reviews to confirm what we experienced, that Krupa Grocery is indeed a fabulous restaurant. Sadly we live in one of the other boroughs but we can always hop on the subway and return, which we definitely will do! We shared their yellow gazpacho and then shared their ricotta gnocchi, the crispy Brussel sprouts and the warm beet salad. The dinner was absolutely delicious and we celebrated our dinner by sharing one of their desserts: Brown Sugar Pot De Creme served with their homemade biscotti! Wow what a great way to finish a spectacular dinner!
Today we came back for brunch.Unfortunately we didnt like brunch foods.Steak and egg's sauce is not tastefull and little more.A basic B sunny side is almost over hard.Pancake is undercooked.we gonna come back for lunch no more brunch.

The gnocchi was super soft and tasty. Pancakes were delicious soaked up the syrup- I asked for more syrup Had a surprise when got check Was charged $2 for xtra serving of syrup....Definitely not used to being nickled and dimed so only 4 stars
I had a delicious lunch today at Krupa Grocery. The food and service were spot on (thank you Kaitlin and Armando) ~ even the manager (owner?), Tom, came by our table to be sure everything exceeded our expectations! This tastefully decorated restaurant is comfortable and features a beautiful backyard as well as tables and a bar. We began with two refreshing Arnold Palmers, then split orders of chicken liver pate deviled eggs and and risotto balls. Both were fresh and bursting with flavor. My buddy then had a shrimp burger and I the angus beef burger accompanies with their salt and vinegar & curry fingerlings (potatoes). My one minor suggestion would be to ask for the burger with a bit less of the sauce because as delicious as it was, it tended to mask the exceptional quality of the burger itself. For dessert we made room for their s'more pie that was decadently good and went well with their delicious brewed coffee that I had or the cappuccino my buddy went with. Top of my to do list for next visit will be the lemon ricotta pancakes! Thank you Krupa Grocery for a beyond delicious lunch!

I've had Krupa Grocery bookmarked for some time and as I explore different Brooklyn neighborhoods, one can add KG as a gem in Windsor Terrace. When I think of gems I think of the neighborhood eateries I depend on for consistency in service, ambience and food. KG now sits alongside Hilltop Tavern as my go to for this area. The welcoming interior with its long bar, soft lighting and a menu that offers creative comfort options, one knows this will be an experience to savor. I chose the backyard patio to dine in a beautiful sunny spring day. There were numerous delicious options to choose from: shrimp or lamb burger, lemon ricotta pancakes, grilled cheese, soup and salads. I asked David, my server, what I should eat. "The breakfast gnocchi is a must". I ordered that and wow, what a delicious dish. My dish arrived and loved the presentation: two Sunnyside eggs covering the gnocchi, bacon bites, black kale in a squash sauce. It looked and tasted amazing. I ordered a side of toast to sop up the sauce. I highly recommend this dish. It hit the spot before my pre- Brooklyn Botanic Garden visit. There is a daily Happy Hour Monday through Thursday from 4-6 pm, brunch all day and there are special events. I will be back with a bigger appetite to try that shrimp burger and soup. If you haven't bookmarked KG, do so. **ahh you noticed.. Cute neighborhood bar and restaurant with friendly bartender. Now offers new Happy Hour menu from 4-6! Cod bites were tiny but the shishito peppers were a nice size for $6! The Happy Hour is nice because I got to try new things without over-committing. Happy Hour also includes $12 select cocktails and wines and that is definitely worth coming back for. Also notable on the regular menu is their beet and squash salad which was way better than I expected and I also like their little cheese plate with apple butter. read more

Great neighborhood spot! Made a same-day reservation for dinner on a Friday and had a lovely meal. Started with the Pineapple Express cocktail, then tried the blistered shishitos, double stack lamb burger with fried fingerlings, and heirloom cherry tomatoes and stracciatella. Burger and heirlooms were the highlights, but everything was tasty. Only note is that the dishes came out of order (we had wanted the potatoes with the burger, but they came out super fast/even before the drinks, so they were cold by the time the burger came) but otherwise no complaints. 4.5 stars. read more

Yes, yes and more yesssssssss Listen if you are in Brooklyn and you want something unique and satisfying please do yourself a favor and stop by this place. It's intimate, delicious and service was incredible. The mussels with that sauce, honey!!! YASSSSS The scallops entree was beautiful and you could tell it was fresh. The desert, unfortunately I forgot the name but it was the peanut butter with chocolate.....baby me and my friend looked at eachother in awe after our first bite. The atmosphere was very laid-back and comfortable, with seating in front of the establishment and in the rear garden. We sat by a window seat nearest the Garden , Our server was quick efficient and friendly. And the food was absolutely heavenly the country toast was amazing it was creamy it was spicy it was savory. The arugula salad was light and refreshing. The spicy shrimp burger was the most delicious I've ever tasted. Five stars all around. read more
Krupa Grocery is a restaurant in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn that serves American dishes. This was the place that my brother selected to treat me to Belated-Holiday Dinner and it gave us a chance to catch up w/ each other once more before the New Year. Krupa is easily accessible via the F and/or G train to the 15 Street Prospect Park Station. Krupa Grocery has chic decor which includes cool wall artwork + lovely lighting ceiling fixtures w/ lighting arrangements. The establishment is neat and clean + has a somewhat upscale yet laid-back vibe the Bartender asked for our COVID Vaccine Cards and ID Cards. We chose to sit at the bar where they have hooks placed under the bar counter to hang coats, bags, etc. I was able to glance towards the back and observe their cute heated patio - Reservations are required to be seated in that area. We were provided with menus and placed our orders. Krupa has a diverse selection of cocktails, appetizers , entrées, etc. In additon to getting the Krupa House-Made Chicken Nuggets as an appetizer, the following was ordered : Isolation Old Fashioned Cocktail - American Bourbon w/ Angostura Orange Bitters. Miss Ya Margarita - Pueblo Viejo Blanco Tequila, Cambier + Lime. Westchester Cocktail -Applejack Whiskey, Lemon, Luxardo Cherry, Cranberry Bitters. Entrees - Roasted Salmon - Cipollini, Risotto, Roasted Mushrooms Lemon, Crispy Thyme. Double Stack Lamb Burger - Lamb, Herb Aioli, Goat Gouda, Bibb + Tomato Jam w/ Dill Pickles. I also ordered a side of potatoes to go w/ the Lamb Burger. Everything from the appetizers, to the cocktails and entrées were prepared well and tasted great. Krupa has nice staff and we felt very comfortable. Thanks to Krupa Grocery for the good food and good service. We also listened to great Old-School R+B, Fumk, Soul Music throughout our dining experience. We really enjoyed our dinner here on a Saturday night. We were welcomed genuinely. Music seemed like the Easy Rock music playlist on Apple Music that we happen to like. Most of the children left by 7. Excellent beer selection. The fundido was delicious and huge; we could barely dent the perfectly fried tofu. Service was attentive and friendly. The total bill was very reasonable. We'll be back with friends! read more

The service was great. We got the barata as an appetizer and I could have had 3 more it was so good! I ordered the breakfast gnocchi for my main meal. I enjoyed it. I'd love to come back for dinner and try one of their other options. read more
It didn't occur to me that Krupa Grocery is a Windsor Terrace/Park Slope institution until a few years ago, when I met my friend for dinner here and she was out of breath after lugging her bag of groceries 1.5 miles from the Park Slope Food Co-op post-shift. But alas, being such a beloved neighborhood spot means that there's usually a wait here. Luckily I lived right across the street at the time and we headed back to my apartment so my friend could stash her perishables in my fridge and I could force feed her some of the first batch of my homemade kombucha. Friendship! There's truly something on the menu for everyone. (C'mon, vegan chicken fried tofu? I want to order that and I'm not technically vegan.) Which means that Krupa Grocery definitely isn't a hidden gem. It's not a huge place, so I'd recommend being mindful about when you drop by: if it works with your schedule, try swinging by after 2 PM on a weekend. Note that they rotate the menu here for the sake of variety. If it catches your fancy and the stars align, get the chicken sausage sandwich! It is, admittedly, a tad messy to eat, so I'll take that back if you're coming here with someone you're trying to impress before they're forced to put up with your authentic self. read more
Wow!! Krupa Grocery is an awesome brunch spot in the Windsor Terrace neighborhood of Brooklyn. My son searched for a spot that had outside seating, because of my autoimmune condition, and also great reviews. He couldn't have chosen better. We were led through the restaurant to a heated patio filled with picnic style tables. Only one other table was occupied. Perfect! The brunch menu was filled with appetizing selections. My choice of the Italian Olive & Pistachio Chicken Sausage with beluga lentils, celery root puree, orange & fennel salad, and house-made sausage was absolute perfect. Every day would not be too often to order this dish. My son, a vegetarian, chose the Tiny Arugula Salad with pickled garlic vinaigrette, the Blistered Shishitos with applewood smoked salt & the Ahi Tuna Crudo with pickled fennel, charred scallion vinaigrette, Calabrian oil & fennel pollen. I have to admit that I snuck some of the Shishitos and they were fabulous. My Grandson chose the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with sour cherry mascarpone, pineapple upside down compote, sliced almond, maple syrup along with the Nueske Bacon. He only ate one pancake so we took the other home. I had it for breakfast the next day with no syrup or topping. It was fabulous. The pancake had a fluffy texture & very slight sweet taste, which I love. This, also, I could eat every day. Service was amazing! I had forgotten to take my reusable metal straws, which I need. The restaurant didn't offer straws. My son slipped out to go to a deli next door for a straw. But after seeing my difficulty with the iced tea glass, without my knowing, the server also went next door to get a straw for me. Now that is wonderful service! The restaurant joins my list of Brooklyn favorites. I can't wait to return. read more

My friend and I came for brunch at the beginning of October. Unfortunately, they were doing construction on their patio that day, so we weren't able to check out that area. But no matter, we just sat in front instead. I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes with caramelized apples, maple mascarpone, candied pecans, and maple syrup. He ordered the famous Chicken & the Egg, with chicken liver pate, pickled egg, candied cocoa nibs, and pickled mustard seed. We split the double stacked lamb burger with hero aioli, goat gouda, bibb lettuce, tomato jam, and dill pickle. The pancakes were so fluffy and delightful, especially with the caramelized apples and candied pecans. I tend to get tired of sweet brunch items about halfway through, so I was glad to take intermittent breaks and dig into the lamb burger. Couldn't have pegged it as lamb, but the patty was very tender and perfectly cooked, and I'm a sucker for anything with tomato jam. Not a fan of chicken liver pate so I didn't try that, but my friend loved this unique and funky take, especially the combo of the pate and pickled egg. Their menu is on the slimmer side and a lot of it doesn't particularly interest me, so I'm not sure if I'd return, but I thoroughly enjoyed everything I tried. read more

One of the best meals in years, have not been able to stop recommending it to everyone, unsolicited. What stands out most is the unique twist on menu staples, and a wide array of fresh-ingredient options with vegetables done extremely well. The flavors are inventive, yet with a home-cooked warmth and familiarity. The chicken fried tofu and farro was travel-1.5-hrs-with-two-transfers good, as was the field mushroom toast. So simple, yet so good! Great place for a large group. Looking forward to returning. read more
