I love this Kroger! The employees are wonderful and it is always a delight to see their smiling faces!

I've avoided Kroger over the years because of their run down stores and unfresh produce. I decided to give this brand new Kroger and chance and it was definitely a pleasant surprise. They have a huge produce section with a large variety of organic and regular produce. Everything seemed fresh but we'll have to see how we'll they maintain that. I was surprised that they had quite a few Asian food selections from dried goods to frozen food. They had brands like Bibigo, Mila, etc. The store honestly felt like a nicer HEB. There were lots of employees and seem like they were maintaining it better. However, the store is brand new with a lot of extra attention so have to see how they consistently maintain everything. But for now, it's a great shopping experience. read more

The pharmacy staff is poorly trained. There are two lanes but only one lane works. Do NOT inadvertently place your ID in to the tube of the lane that they choose not to operate because the pharmacist and staff is incompetent enough to tell you to go back to the non-functioning lane to get your ID back and credit card as it is going through to them, causing you to lose your place in line. Also, the staff told me my medication for my daughter wasn't ready when I literally called to verify if it was ready. She didn't ask for the DOB or name of the person I was picking up for. She assumed simply because I gave her my drivers license and credit card in an effort to pick up medication for my 13 year old daughter. They need more competent staff or better training. It's as though they hire people on the fly and just let things happen as it happens. read more

I went to Kroger on Saturday morning specifically to purchase several choice steaks Kroger had advertised for the week. When I arrived, I saw that the price was $1 more per pound than advertised. No big deal, except that they didn't have any of the steaks that were advertised. When I inquired about the steaks, an employee in the department said that the steaks would be out "later." When I asked about price, he replied that he wasn't in charge of pricing. I left and did what I should have done to begin with...went straight to HEB. Lesson learned. Kroger wonders why HEB is crushing them. Experiences like this are exactly why. read more

This gorgeous new Kroger is great! It is. Marketplace version, so larger, expansive selection and high end offerings with the market in the middle. The staff on hand are so friendly and all offering help. Love this! Also love shopping with plenty of space and not competing with the online shoppers like at HEB which drives me away from there. I found a few items I often cannot find at other grocers including fresno red chili!! So happy! What a huge and well tended produce. Great job offering a variety to cater to our multicultural population. We will be back! read more

New Location - Updated Review - Having seen updated to the location at the southeast corner of Coit/121, Our neighborhood has been given a major upgrade across the street on the southwest side. This location is probably 2-3 times as big and filled with various selections. My favorite area so far is the expanded produce area. I never knew what jackfruit looked like inside until these past weeks. Organics align the wall - pre-packed gets my attention too. The cheese selection is more appealing than before but I am finding it difficult to stay out of the bakery as sweet carbs are not my friend (but I'll work it out). The other section I like is the health & beauty - I was happy to find an item I needed while perusing the selections. There are also shelves with beauty lighting making viewing easy. Visiting that area means I need to pass the candy display (fortunately I'm a sharer so if I do pick up a bag, it's a treat for everyone!) I will miss the long horns that grazed this area. If we had to have a retail offering, Happy to have this upgrade. read more

WOW! Much impressed with the new Kroger Marketplace store which relocated this weekend across Coit Rd from old location. I was told years ago by the then store manager that Kroger would build a new store which just opened. It took many years and probably the increased competition from H-E-B which has opened and continues to open more stores in north TX especially Collin county. I post many new photos marked as 'opening weekend Jan 2025' to make a difference with old store photos. Quite the crowd opening weekend. With a larger store there can be more food items on display along with the specialty departments. And many visits to learn where everything is located. One test of new store will be how many registers open when one is shopping. Its one thing to have larger selection but if the checkout lanes take too long a bummer. read more

The new store opening was a hit! I learned that this location has products inspired by its community so there's a lot of Asian and middle eastern products which I enjoyed. They have signs all throughout the store and the associates were really friendly. I got some new food items to try and can't wait to go back and explore more. It was a very clean location, big and spacious like you would expect a Kroger Marketplace store to be, and the selections were great. I'm very impressed with this new store. read more

Moldy items abound with my purchases tonight! Was hosting a group of friends so last minute dashed in to buy cheese, olive bar items, flatbread pizza and a quiche. Easy peasy, I'm done! I quickly unwrap flatbread and pop in oven and whilst cooking I begin to build charcuterie board. Well, well.. Both cheeses have mold that's covered by the labels that are obviously newly added! I scrap the charcuterie and go for the flat bread in the oven. IT'S MOLDED!! See pics attached! Quiche? Why try to kill my guests!? I just ordered takeout. Have items in stock more than older Kroger locations. Great deli but bar codes on cheeses do not scan and this has been occurring since opening. Have informed management down to self check out personnel since the self check out personnel have to correct the amount and self enter the bar codes. Hope someday enough people say something that Kroger will correct the bar code situation in the deli but if not I guess Kroger will not be selling cheese since the time spent to enter the bar codes that do not read takes a lot of time. Have also found produce out on display with spoilage and this does not seem like fresh for everyone to me. read more

This Kroger is very organized and there are alot of workers on the floor ready to assist customers. So impressed by customer service and Vicky at the cash register made my day, so friendly and jovial. Had the worst experience at this Kroger today. I literally was trying to use a coupon that I found on a PACKAGE in the store for the item I was purchasing and was given so much attitude. Only line ever open for checked help during the day is the tobacco line. Self check, now the staff is checking receipts and baskets as you leave the store. They use to employ many adults with different abilities that were awesome and a joy to see when checking out. Many of them seem to been replaced by self checkout. . Seems like this store won't have any customers left when they open the new suoer store across Coit. Disappointed in the trend this store I have used since it opened is trending. Too bad several really quality people in meat, produce and 2 good checkers when they are working a register. Same quality and service(or lack of) at Walmart or target with a lower cost. I like this location...its really large and has more inventory than the Kroger closest to me in McKinney. This location has a huge bakery which i love stopping and getting donuts on my way to work. Also has a Starbucks inside, bonus. read more

This store has the worst service. Staff is rude and act like you're annoying them if you ask a question. The fish behind the counter is rotten. Everything in the store is ridiculously overpriced. I echo the other review about the bakery. I was in there tonight as well and I believe the last review is the gentleman who was in front of me in line. We spoke briefly as we were both departing the store about leaving a Yelp review. The woman managing the bakery tonight was awful. Her conduct was reprehensible. After seeing how the other customer was treated I didn't worry about speaking to the Manager. Instead I simply bought a couple of canned goods and decided to buy the cupcakes from another store with friendlier employees. I've never had a problem with the service here. It's actually a great supermarket with tons of selections. But I am so tired of being harassed by the spectrum people in the front of the aisles! It seriously doesn't make me want to go to the store because even after I say no, they still want to bother me. And then if I pass them again, they make jokes and laugh at those who say no thank you. Can i give it a 0 stars? I tried to use digital coupon and did not know that you can't split the transaction. My coupon did not work because it was not considered a single transaction. Went to customer service for help. The customer service clerk refused to help, seemed he was enjoying the fact that I made mistake and he can say NO. He proudly said I DO NOT CARE when I mentioned bad customer service and review. I called the manager. Manager said that he will have a talk with him later. No help, no price correction. I use to really like this store but it has been going downhill for several months. You spend too much time going through rotten produce hoping to find something you can eat. Move to the organic isles and you have to spend a ton of time looking at expire dates since items are out of date. Then move on to the soup isle and soda isle. Lots of outdated items. I am really tired of spending all of my time making sure I don't bring home something expired. What is wrong with this store?? Sadly I was in a hurry yesterday and saw what I "thought" was a new organic chip so I grabbed six bags. After arriving home and opening one I looked at the date, FEB 2019!!! This is April 20th!!! I also had to spend a ton of time looking through the 16oz Mt Dew because all but three were outdated. I shouldn't have to worry about expire dates on food if the stock folks are doing their jobs. It's called rotating stock! I stopped purchasing ANY fresh produce here because it was rotten and full of gnats! You can't stand to get close to the organic tomatoes because of the rotten smell. I will be looking for another grocery store, doubt it will be another Kroger's. read more

I've driven past this location hundreds of times during my work commute, but I'd generally go on past and just go to one closer to my home. However, in the past few months, I find myself stopping there more and more, because it's clean, checkout is fast and they seem to have a better selection of products than my local store has. Just yesterday, I got some dumpling sauce (for pot stickers), and it was on sale for over $1 a bottle off. I bought 4 at that price! They also had a great skirt steak that was marked down, and it wasn't even because of the sell by date being close. I've also noticed that their seafood department doesn't have the dreaded "fishy" smell that plagues so many places. Finally, it just seems like things are laid out in a sensible way, and despite not being a regular (yet), I can always find what I need easily. As my friend Christopher L noted, there's none of that Marketplace stuff, which, for me, is just filler that's taking up space that could be used for more groceries. read more

I was having a very long night at work and went in for groceries. Ash was beyond helpful. A jar of pasta sauce fell out of my bag he for one cleaned it up and two was so patient and kind. He reassured me I was ok. As someone who works in the service industry I appreciate so much when employees at places like Kroger, who are open very late, when they have employees who go above and beyond.
