Pharmacy experience deserves a ZERO due to lack of customer service and focus. Make you feel like a criminal when trying to get medication filled. My regular kroger did not have any on hand but they checked around and dacula had them. When we get there everyone is in denial and insist they are holding the medication for another customer, funny never mentioned that to my regular pharmacist when he called them. Finally got the prescription filled but with all kinds of drama by the employees including the the pharmacist. read more

We recently started shopping at this location, I will admit I am not a fan of Kroger and prefer shopping at Publix. However, we do like the 10 for 10 deals and there is a lot of variety in this store. The draw back to the store is the lack of meat that isn't frozen. Recently we had gone in to pick up some racks of ribs for our cookout; we arrived to find that all of the ribs that were on special were all frozen solid. We weren't the only customer who wanted non frozen ribs (no time to defrost to put in smoker), so we called Publix up the road and they had exactly what we were looking for. Kroger should be a little more prepared with the items they have on sale, it's that time of the year when people are having cook outs and they don't have time to defrost meat they plan on cooking that same day. I will shop here for certain items, but when it comes to quality meat, I will still shop at Publix or Costco. read more

Huge freakin store. I still like Publix a little better,but this store is very impressive. The down side is that I have a hard time finding what I am looking for. I end up buying other stuff I come across while looking for my list items. A-ha, that is exactly what they want to happen. I have fallen into their evil capitalist grocer scheme. I love Kroger as a company. Their corporate culture and leadership is excellent. This particular Kroger fails to live up to its potential. It had so much potential when it opened!! It was so nice at grand opening but has gone down hill since. If I could sum up the problem with this store I would say POOR LEADERSHIP. I've spoken with managers many times to try and correct everything from poor customer service to poor ordering. I worked at a grocery store before as a dairy manager so I know what customer service and good ordering looks like. My wife and I have asked many times about the dairy cooler that is ALWAYS out of half and half and most orange juices (especially Kroger brand) on prime shopping days! By Saturday morning they are out and they don't have more until Monday or Tuesday. This is all the time! All a customer wants is to have stocked shelves when they come to a store. If you speak to a manager you get the real feeling that they have contempt for you because you are saying something and are unhappy. Just fix it! Do you not care? I realize that your in store Starbucks are probably taking all your half and half but holy crap, we are talking about years! Get the hang of it by now! The comes what this enormous store chooses to order and stock. You can't get any type of Penni Pasta except Kroger Brand? Just one example of poor ordering and planning. Lastly is things like cleanliness of the store and bathrooms. Always dirty and nasty. The managers here also have a "who cares" attitude and treat customers with disdain. My wife was walking up to ask him a question at the service desk and he snaps "let me guess..there is a lady with a dog in the store"? He was evidently upset because many people were complaining and so he snapped at my wife when she wasn't even asking about that. This was the younger manager. read more

Love the atmosphere! Love the staff! They're always kind and willing to help track down an item for you. Kroger is by far my favorite place to go grocery shopping in the area. Great deals and variety for everyone. One of my favorite features is the cheese section within the deli. Most of the time there's samples which makes all the difference in your visit. The worst customer service ever!! 3 strikes & I will never go to this Kroger or the one on Spout Springs again. Employees are unpleasant, unhelpful & flat out lazy. The gas station charged me $120 for a $20 tank of gas in 2 separate transactions! $20 for gas & $100 "pending" charge. Went back an hour later to clear this up & was given the run around & told to check my account the next day. Well 4 days later & $100 is STILL pending meaning I have no access to it. Spoke with a manager who is Spanish speaking & could hardly understand me today. Another time I asked where the newspaper was & was told they must not carry it anymore (later found a stack of them at customer service where they are always located). Obviously too lazy to help me. I used to love this Kroger it was my favorite.... aside from the angry woman always working near the self-checkout area. If you need help, she will become sarcastic and rude/impatient with you. I can be compassionate, but this is unforgivable because it is consistent. I have avoided this place because of this. I feel unwelcome at every self-checkout because of the looks I get. The worst service. I know young people here go weeks waiting for their paychecks, bad treatment. Not worth the time. Go to publix/ingles instead. read more

I shop here once in awhile. I like that they have a Starbucks and sushi and a health conscious/vegetarian section.They also have a better beer selection than the Publix, where I usually shop. The customer service could be a fair bit better. I also don't like that you have to carry their card in order to get discounts. Overall Kroger is not as good as Publix for my needs. read more

We use this Kroger always. The only complaint I have is that I can't seem to find a worker when I need one. I see them in various sections, but they don't ever greet me or ask if I need help finding something. I don't have a problem asking for help, but everyone always seems to be in the middle of stocking shelves or something, like I'd be interrupting. (FWIW I don't mind interrupting either, if I really can't find something.) The checkouts are generally clear when I go, though we use self checkout most of the time. Always clean and has what I'm looking for. Staff is usually friendly enough but there are a few cashiers that are incredibly slow and it's only because they want to discuss my items as they ring them up. I can't stand that and it slows down the line for everyone waiting. Gas is usually in line with the prices from the Shell station next door (w/o discounts), but I've found it sometimes to be more expensive than the Ingles in Auburn (10 minutes away) or even the QT on 316. read more

Definitely an upper-class Kroger. I've always been able to get in and out. The lines are never long. There is a above average selection to choose from. And I haven't measured it but I believe the store itself is actually bigger. It is a walk in clinic that you can utilize if so needed. And it just looks good. read more

Here is the email I sent to Kroger Corporate regarding Fuel Point Redemption'... " Just thought you should know how deceptively your fuel points applies points. I had 200 Nov points and 1000 Dec points and I used the maximum 1000 allowed (makes no sense to have a max). I then bought something in the store to see how the points were applied. Your software used the Dec points and none of the Nov points so now I'll lose the Nov points. Obviously you have your computer programmed to use "last-in, first-out" rather than "first-in, first-out"; which makes no sense. You reward customer loyalty by screwing them out of their fuel points! There are only two possible reasons for your choice to use "last-in, first-out"; (1) avoid point redemption, or (2) your programmer is twelve. The method you use is totally deceptive, self-serving, and quite the low-life thing to do. Three cheers for corporate greed!!! " read more

I like this Kroger we have been coming here since it opened. They have nice friendly employees and the store is always clean. We also like racking up gas points to use at their gas station. Sometimes they might run out or not bring back certain items but overall great shopping experience. read more

If you ever need your prescriptions filled, don't even bother to visit the pharmacy at this particular Kroger. My doctor wrote 2 prescriptions for me & the pharmacy wouldn't fill one of them due to "no directions". Although there were directions & sig codes for both of my prescriptions they refused to fill it. Sadly, they didn't even try to help me with the prescription. They didn't offer to call my doctors office for clarity or do anything to help! As a pharmacy tech for 7+ years, I understand when further instructions are needed and I also know that there is a lot a pharmacist can do, IF they want to. A simple phone call to my doctors would've allowed me to get my prescription. But I guess they didn't care that much to do something so simple. I didn't feel important or as if they cared about me as a patient & the pharmacy staff was unpleasant except for the cashier. I went to CVS & they filled the same prescription for me with just one phone call to my doctor. I'll be taking my prescriptions where I'm cared for & treated like my health actually matters! read more

Encountered THE most unpleasant employee that I have encountered at any store I've ever been in my life. She works in the bakery. When we asked her if she could take out two buns from the bakery rolls she followed with "why? you can just freeze them..." I told her we only needed 4 and did not need 6. She then asked why we were making it such a big deal and continued being extremely rude and when we walked away, she continued talking and saying rude things.... then we watched as she told the other bakery employee about us and was pointing and clearly talking ill about us. I mean HOW DARE we ask her to provide us a service that would have taken less than 1 minute...being a former bakery employee at Publix, I assumed this was not a huge deal since I did it multiple times a day at work without asking a single question. We did tell the store manager and I hope he was able to handle her attitude. We ended up going across the street to Publix and getting our 4 buns from the bakery with no attitude, no hassle and no problems. read more

I really tried to be a Kroger shopper. I was lured in by their gas points and amazing digital coupons. After a month, there were definite pros and cons, but last night's experience finished me. The conditions of the store approached horrific. There was trash on the floor. The dairy section had items toppled over and leaking. Numerous areas were poorly stocked. I was unable to catch any of the 1/2 dozen employees attention from behind the deli counter. I doubt that I will return. read more

Although I am giving it 5 stars, it is not perfect. I isn't care for the old Krogers but I love the new ones. The only problem I have is with the service. While it is getting better you still have quite a few employees that are just plain rude. The service is not close to being up to a Publix. Publix service is much better. The Kroger in Dacula has to be the best Kroger I've been to. They store has everything a regular Kroger normally has plus much more. I'm not sure how to categorize this, but the experience is very cool! For a grocery store, this place has everything. They even have electric car chargers in the parking. read more

Kroger is a giant in the supermarket industry, no doubt. But, as is the case with most all large corporations they are very slow in responding to customers needs. This store has a real problem managing inventory and keeping shelves stocked. The meat department is probably the best example. The shelves are nearly empty on any given Saturday morning and getting any assistance is a joke as they are seriously understaffed. The produce department is almost nearly as bad as the meat department. All I wanted was bananas. Come on guys. Now, lets talk about the fueling station. I am not sure who's bright idea it was to permit pushy, over the top, "carnival style" sales rats to descend upon you as you stand captive at your car pumping gas, but it pisses me off! Let these troglodytes peddle their snake oil miracle car cleanser in a can up the street at the car wash or auto parts store but leave me the HELL alone! You're blowing it Kroger!!! read more
