I've NEVER in my life had this embarrassing experience at a grocery store. At ANY store rather. But this morning at this Kroger; as I was leaving with my newly purchased sale reduced items, my cart was stopped by security at the front, like literally disabled from going further. I didn't know they had that feature. But hey, I guess they are taking precautions for thieves. Nevertheless- it was quite embarrassing as Loss Prevention had to come out and examine my receipt. It took about 3 mins. As she literally looked at EVERY item on my receipt to make sure I had what was on my receipt in my cart. It was quite embarrassing as everyone is looking at me and my kids. I literally just ran in to pick up some water but saw these AMAZING reduced priced items so I purchased a lot of them. But I feel quite embarrassed to spend my hard earned money at this Kroger and to be examined and ridiculed by loss prevention as if I was stealing. It was embarrassing to me and my kids and I'll never ever step foot in this store again. Me and my kids could hear other customers whispering leaving "did they steal" as the LP girl examined my ENTIRE receipt and looking through my shopping cart. I have NEVER been embarrassed in my entire life.

Your average grocery store. Not really anything thing special about the place or the service here.

Over charged for fruit at Kroger Dacula, GA!

Well I must admit I am tired of getting overcharged (see photo) then getting less than acceptable customer service at this Kroger. Beside having to return and request a refund this store IS NOT CLEAN. Just look inside the men's restroom or in the eating area of the coffee shop on location.

This Kroger is like a huge fluorescent box of Whole Foods-inspired design and product, coupled with Kroger's yellow "woohoo/clearance" stickers and good deals, but lacking the prompt and amiable customer service of Publix. I have a Kroger much closer to me but have been driving to this much larger and fancier one in Dacula for the past several Saturdays of "Young Chef" classes with one my kiddos. The chef instructor is very nice and patient, the set-up for the class is organized and tidy, and the recipes have been enjoyable, tasty and easy enough for younger chefs but just challenging enough if a parent needs to step in and assist. (For instance, today's was pad thai, and while all the items are mis-en-place for the kids, they get to mix, prepare and eat, all while wearing their own apron and chef hat.) The value of the class, $7, isn't that great when it ends up only lasting 10 min. but if it inspires my daughter to want to help out in the kitchen and gives me the opportunity to ogle all the awesome organic areas, salad fixins' and cheese displays that this Kroger has, I suppose it's worth it!

This is the WORST Kroger I've ever bought food from. My husband came home with steaks that cost MORE than if we had taken our family Long Horns to eat steak!! Also, we bought cube steak and the very next day I smelt something rotten in the fridge. I couldn't figure out what it was until I looked in the Kroger bag at our cube steaks. 3 packs ALL spoiled!! This was on a Monday & the package sticker said good through Thursday!! When we spoke to the store manager about it, he was rude & said he couldn't refund us because they would be out of pocket on money. What?! Who says that?! We will NEVER shop there again. No wonder Publix is more expensive. You get what you pay for... NON SPOILED MEAT & BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE! Buyer Beware!!

There are lots of things to love about this Kroger, first of all... it's close to my home!!! Second it it is about the largest Kroger I've ever visited. They have everything from a Starbucks and outdoor furniture to a prepared foods section that would rival Whole Foods. You could come in here for lunch and have a selection of choices larger than most restaurants... including sushi. Fresh meats, veggies, cakes, fish and a live lobster tank are also available. What I REALLY love is how much money you can save in gas costs by purchasing groceries at Kroger! It's the only store I don't mind my wife going on a shopping spree. For every $1 you spend in-store you receive 1 Kroger member point. Every 100 points gets you .10 per gallon discount when you enter your Kroger member number at ANY Kroger fuel center. The more you shop, the more you save (strange, I believe that is their motto). My last visit to Kroger fuel (after Thanksgiving) surprised me with .40 OFF per gallon. If you have more than one vehicle, you can also choose how much savings you want to use: the regular .03 cent discount or use .10 cent increments of your total earned savings. This way you can save some for another car or if you are just topping off!!!! In this bad economy, this is one of the best deals out there. Oh, I forgot to mention gift cards (with the exception of Kroger cards), earn you double points towards gas. So a $25 Red Lobster giftcard (for example) will earn 50 points instead of 25. Valuable information this season of gift giving.

Dirty. Filthy and always under-stocked. What was a nice shiny store two years ago, now looks like a Walmart. Sad for our city.

The employee took down all of our information and we had a prop for the top that we agreed to bring in the following week closer to party. When we brought it in on the arranged date and time, there was no record of our order at all. The party was 3 days away. I am so glad that we didn't choose something detailed or custom! On the day of the party we picked up the cake, and the icing colors were wrong. Got a tiny discount. No time to fix it. I wanted to order bread during the holidays and I called the bakery. I asked for the bread which I have been ordering over 20 years now from Publix and was told "we don't do that." I called another Publix down the road and ordered it there instead. They knew exactly what I wanted. Decided to give them another chance recently and wanted to order hot food from the deli. Called several times and was put on hold for 5 minutes or more and then hung up on each time by employees who were very rude. I purposefully did not call during mealtimes, and I didn't even mind the wait, but it was clear from the way they spoke to me they did not want my business. I seriously don't know what is going on at this store. We use the Mulberry location now. Much better!
