This Publix, Five Forks Trickum, is usually a great store. The Manager Kim is fantastic, most of the service desk is wonderful. Adnan is great with all customers and truly understands customer service. The only reason for three stars is the Dairy dept, not so much the cheese dept, but milk, yogurt, sour cream, etc. They have expired food there all the time. I shop at least 2-3 times a week here and I find yogurt, cottage cheese, soy milk, chip dips, etc. way past the expiration date all the time. I have spoken with the people there about it and they say they are going to come back and pull it and then two days later when I'm back it's still there! They need to really look into the management of this dept, it's dragging down the whole store. Bakery is great, deli is s l o w, but good, meat is expensive there, but dairy... pay attention it's probably out of date. read more

I have come to this Publix often as it's not too far from home however the last few visits where I've placed orders online for pickup - my order was not ready. This last visit was unbelievable! My pickup orders said it would be ready at 3:30... I arrived around 3:48 giving them extra time to have it ready and it is now 4:18... order is still NOT ready! It's unbelievable. This also seems to be a reoccurring thing that happens with other locations and I really believe it's an internal training issue with the sandwich making. No way you can tell me sandwiches take this long to make smh I think this is my sign to make my own sandwiches at home in the new year. Not worth the hassle. I will probably not return here for a while either. But their selection on actual food items isn't too bad. read more

The staff at the checkout/self checkout are really friendly and helpful but I have to dock off stars for the staff working at the deli. There was 1 woman in front of me & the lady making her sandwich took 10-15 minutes just for TWO sandwiches. After the lady was done making her sandwiches she went somewhere in the back and left me waiting. Meanwhile there was a man making sandwiches for the mobile orders and he just left me unattended and didn't even acknowledge me until I asked him if there was anyone still making sandwiches. Wouldn't recommend going here for the deli section unless you want to wait a bit. read more

I pass by this Publix all the time and finally had a chance to stop in right before Valentine's Day. I went in to pick up some ready made desserts and for a few groceries. They always have a really good selection of items in the bakery at every Publix I've been to. The ladies at the bakery counter were nice and asked if I needed help with anything. I asked them if they had the sugar free cheesecake (Publix brand) that I saw online, but they never heard of them carrying it. So I'm wondering if this location doesn't have them at all or if it's a special order you have to put in. I've never tried getting one from them before, so I'll have to look more into it. In any case, I was able to try the Enlightened keto strawberry cheesecake from the frozen section instead. Those were good. They come in single serving sizes and are a little pricy as most special made keto products are, but the flavor without the guilt made it worthwhile for me. I also picked up some brownies at my other half's request and some chocolate strawberries for myself. Both were very good items. I found the rest of my groceries with no issue. The store is clean and well-stocked like most Publix I've been to. Of course the prices generally are higher than Walmart, Kroger, or Aldi as I've mentioned before, but it's nice to stop in for certain items now and then. Shopping really is "a pleasure" here as their ad states. The customers even seem friendlier at Publix compared to other stores for some reason. At checkout I had two really nice young guys helping me. The bagger offered to help me to my car which was nice. I declined, but the thought was appreciated. You don't get that at every store and most people are just trying to rush you out so they can clock off for a break or go back to socializing. Overall, I would definitely come back to this location again and recommend it to anyone nearby or passing through. read more

Love going to my local grocery store. Customer service is always great. They offer to push the cart out for you and take it away after they unload your groceries into your trunk. I love the cook that cooks Publix Kitchen food every day around 5-6pm. She is the sweetest cook, reminds me of my elementary school cafeteria staff. They were all so caring and sweet. I love the food that she makes every afternoon. I absolutely love the bakery. The baked goods are always on point. I have ordered the carrot cake at least 7 times at this Publix. They are so good. I also got a slice of the red velvet cake for my brother. It is all so good. I love their buttercream cupcakes, chocolate ganache, macaroons, tres leches cake, muffins, cookies, breads,fruit cake and many more. I will be back every week read more

Publix recently came out with a Surf 'n turf sandwich and was providing samples. I've never been a fan of horseradish but they have it or some form of it on the sandwich. It tasted so good, I bought one that day. No more were in the cooler so I asked if they would make it....it was PERFECT!!! However, I have probably purchased it 3 to 4 more times afterward and it has not been duplicated....I'm not sure what the disconnect is. Employee argued with me about the price of raw peanuts. The tags were 2 for 4.00. I've paid this price for months. They rang up at 2.19 per bag. Not a big deal but the man in the veg dept told me to let the cashier know and I could have them at that price. I guess the cashier wanted permission to override and that's when the head of cashier's said " no ", I could have them for 2 .19. You lost a long time customer over a rude employee. This is my go-to store. It's always clean, the employees are friendly and helpful, and their selection of items is good with a lot of variety. I really do appreciate having a store that feels like community. That being said, after my visit today I was distressed at the number of customers not wearing masks. I see that with the new delta virus variant Publix employees are going to be required to wear masks. But shopping around people not wearing masks, and not social distancing, is stressful to me (my husband has cancer and cannot afford to get even a mild case, and yes, we're vaccinated). I wear a mask to protect myself and others. I wish others would be so considerate. It makes me consider going back to delivery options because shopping in person (which I enjoy) is starting to feel uncomfortable. read more

Welcome to my review. I do love this Publix. It is clean and customer service is very good most of the time. They have everything stocked but there are few exceptions I ran into. I recommend trying the deli and bakery. The food is fresh and heavenly tasteful. This Publix is very clean as well. Depend on the day and time it can get really busy here. There is also a pharmacy inside that is very good. I highly recommend sending your prescriptions here or getting flu shots. Publix parking lot is very huge. This Publix is located in a plaza which is very convenient. There is a Suntrust bank, Wendy's, nail SPA, hair salon, Marco's Pizza, and Fitness 19 gym. Thank you for reading my review. read more

So far, so good. I have been shopping at this Publix now for a year and have been getting the same consistence help by the staff. I rarely ask anyone for anything, but when I do everyone has been very helpful. The people at the register are friendly, however they do quite often ask for donations for different charities and as much as I do not mind donating once or twice, they seem to do it for about two weeks and when you shop somewhere about 2-3 times a week and constantly get asked, it can get a bit annoying as if it is a competition among employees. I have shopped at this store for over 10 years. My main grocer is Costco, but they often don't have everything I need, so I go to Publix about 2X per month. The store is clean and tidy. The meat is very good. I was raised on a farm, and know what ideal meat looks like. I typically buy both the sirloin burger and sausage for my family Italian recipes. The specialty cuts are typically top quality, but Costco offers similar specialty cuts for less. The produce is typically the top quality possible. Publix has incredible sales. I keep my eye out for BOGOs. The staff are much kinder, more helpful and better trained than similar stores like Sprouts. Someone always brightens my day when I go there. Now the downside. The store carries too many options and brands. It is overwhelming for me. I know they pride themselves on variety, but the store goes too far. For instance, how many kinds, sizes and brands of grape jam (or jam at all for that matter) or bleach or bread do we need? It's too much to compare. Next the quality is there, but I do question if the prices (especially on steak and lamb) could be brought down to meet Costco prices. read more

I love this Publix. The employees are always friendly and helpful. Luis was awesome last time I was there. I love the deli food, especially the subs, chicken tenders, potato wedges... I could go on. The carry out service is also what makes me a loyal customer. So helpful when you have kids in tow. Employee attitudes here is different than other grocery chains and you can really tell that management promotes good customer service. Two Publix brand items I like are their wheat bread and their parmesan cheese wedges (which I grate at home). They also actually follow up with you when you ask them to carry an item. In my case, they could not stock the Cedarlane burritos I wanted but at least they looked into it. Keep up the good work Publix! read more

This deli is the worst. The deli employees are some of the worst in customer service that I've experienced. Wings are never available and when they finally are made, they are greasy and undercooked. I have been living in this neighborhood and have been a customer of this Publix for more than 10 years. But I noticed couple times recently that the staffs at the check out were not as friendly as before. They did not do greeting to me at my turn when I say hi and smile to them, today he put the grocery I bought far away from where I can reach without helping, when I say thank you at the time they handed me the receipts, they did not say anything back even no reaction, etc. Their attitude made me feel that I am not welcomed to be their customer. read more
