Any Publix grocery store I shop at, it's always clean and has what I need. They are definitely practicing social distancing, so please wear your mask and pay attention to the signs in the grocery store. I just moved back to Georgia, so I had to grocery shop for everything. I found great deals on water, fruits, sandwich meat, poultry, and veggies. I also found disinfectant wipes, but still looking for Lysol. I will definitely be back in a few weeks. read more

Publix overall is one of the best markets I've ever shopped at. This one is no exception. I'm always dealt with in a friendly way. From the time I walk in to the time I leave. The employee's stocking the shelves all seem to be whistling to themselves while working. It's like watching those unrealistic commercials. They all stop and say hi, are you finding everything ok. I always say, yeah...I don't think ya'll do the switch-a-roo on a sister by putting something in a place it doesn't usually go. They are so helpful. The baggers are very good and they all seem to get along well, at least in front of the customers. There is an "all together now" sense of working, instead of a me and mine mentality. Seriously though, have you ever taken the time to read about the history of Publix and how it all started with one man's vision of helping people in an utmost unique way? You should. Just ask for a pamphlet or grab one on your way out. Little things like these are always good to know, it adds to your appreciation. The deli is always stocked with goods that are so tempting. Like the meat they slice and dice up for a mean sandwich. If I weren't a vegetarian I would love to sink my teeth in to it. But my veggie sandwich is always good. The one thing that keeps Publix from being my #1 grocery store to shop is the prices. They are high, high, high! I wish they had a Publix shoppers card like Kroger. read more

I have tried for six weeks, every week, to get you to stock CELERY SEED. You have made no effort that I can see for us customers who use this spice, we want it, we need it, we expect you to keep it in stock. I have begged, I have pleaded, many of us, still no CELERY SEED. The food is good and publix quality. But the deli service is poor. I think the main issue is management. They dont focus on prioritizing customers in front of them instead of online orders. Also people who are on lower priority tasks should help facilitate the deli and sub line. The deli work space is not efficient. They should have more materials within reach without having to go back and fourth. They take about 5 minutes per sub and extreamly slow. Compared to the midtown publix which is very efficient and cranks them out in less than half the time. The people here im sure arnt enthusiastic about their tasks but a more efficent working area and team cohesion should be implimented to greater output. It took me over 30 minutes to obtain a sub in a very short que. This team needs a sitdown. Its definitely not the workers fault its the manager who allows these inefficiencies to take place. read more

I have never been to a bad Publix, and this one is no different. Everyone who works there is super friendly and eager to help. They even take your cart to your car and unload it for you for free! They always have tons of BOGO offers on food you actually want to buy, like cereal, granola bars, crackers, and even bacon. The food they make in the store is great. 1. A must try from the bakery is a fresh loaf of Chicago Italian bread. If you get to the store early, it's still warm. It makes amazing toast and the best grilled sandwiches. 2. The bakery sweets. They always have specials on cakes, and they are all delicious. They make novelty cakes as well. We got my son a hamburger shaped cake for his birthday some years ago. 3. The deli has the best fried chicken anywhere! The sandwiches are also amazing. They make a clam chowder that's out of this world! They have a huge selection of meats and cheese to try. 4. The produce is super fresh and priced fairly. The honeycrisp apples are incredible. Finally, you can play the lottery here. They have a lottery vending machine up front by the exit. Publix is just so awesome. Honestly, one of the best in terms of cleanliness and baked goodies. Their subs and fresh foods are also worth mentioning, along with their fresh fruits. They just have great quality of produce and food. Yes, they are a bit more pricier than other grocery stores but when they have BOGO deals, you cannot go wrong. Their staff is always smiling and friendly. Every Publix store has an outdoor ATM. I particularly like this because I bank with a credit union and do not get extra fees when using their ATM. What I like about this particular Publix is that in their European section, I saw Nando's Peri Peri sauce!!! When I was in UK late last year, I fell in love with Nando's, I hope they open one in Atlanta up soon! There are a few US locations but in Chicago and New York City. I did it. On 11/2 I went to this Publix store. A young black man in the customer service said that he would not accept coupons. Then the female cashier discussed with the manager and the man for a long time. Then the female cashier put the coupon far away from the scanner. Scan from a long distance, about 1 inch to 2 inches, and tell me that coupons are not available, and I really want to tell her "you can get the scan at the store door ."I don't know it's a machine failure or a human problem? But I went to another Publix, and the same coupon was easily scanned. The coupon is printed on the website of drpraegers.com. This is the worst Publix I have ever been to. If this store does not accept coupons, please post a warning at the door instead of a few Personally discuss it together and treat the customer as a fool. Please look at the picture. The Lilburn Publix is "just right" in then sense of Golidlocks. They have everything I'm ever looking for, yet the store is smaller than many, which is very convenient! Most of the staff have been there for years, and they remember their return customers. Customer service is top notch - they always ask if I found everything I need, and help me out if I say no. I've been coming here for over 10 years to shop. My first job ever was in this shopping center, and I used to go to Publix on my break and get my lunch. I do love this store, because it's always clean, and the people working there are always nice and helpful. What I have noticed lately is that the aisles seem smaller, so you have to squeeze by people's carts while passing through. Also, they keep piling up more and more stuff at the ends of the aisles (like where the dairy items are) and you have to navigate around them to avoid running into people. I also wish they offered self-checkout like all other grocery store chains, but I guess that doesn't fit into their image. I never usually have a long wait in line, BUT I do know when not to go to avoid lines. I also wish they offered a rewards card, or a savings card of some kind like Kroger or Ingles. I still come here often because it's convenient, but I feel like they could offer more than just BOGO, especially since their prices are higher than most. read more

If I was a health inspector this deli would've been hit hard. I went to buy sub sandwiches for my husband and kids this past Tuesday. There were two women making subs. The one who was making my sandwiches went to cut meat while the other prepared what I think was a call in order because she had a receipt in her hand with gloves that she was using to prepare the sandwich. I stood there and watched as she ran her hand down up and down the receipt with the gloves then put her hands into the spinach, tomatoes, and all the other ingredients on the list. That is so disgusting. I bet she didn't change those gloves the entire time she was working. When the lady who was preparing my sub came back, she asked what type of bread I wanted. I paid close attention to what she was doing, because there was sub wrapping paper that had the remains of other sub particles that she had prepared sometime throughout the day and I wanted to see if she was going to place my bread on top if it or if she would discard it and use another sheet. Sure enough, she put the bread on top of it. I told her that I changed my mind and left. read more

I love Publix, and having recently moved from Brookhaven, I am sorely disappointed in the lack of fresh produce and meats. This Publix is not up to Publix standards, and even though I really love the brand so to speak, I will be avoiding this particular one from now on. We appreciate the rotisserie chicken and the organic carrots and organic celery. The usually have nice avocados and grapefruits. The store maintenance is super clean. Always plenty of parking.
