I've been coming here ever since I moved from Cali 30 years of wings that I can remember lol. My daughter loves the Chi Chi Burger, and my son always wants mushrooms and onion rings.

Their "stoner box" special also caught my eye. 2 Corn Dogs, 4 nuggets, french fries & a cookie for $4.20. (Of Course....) I'll try that next time, though. We had enough wings to take home because I got a burger for $8. Automatically with fries, but you can upgrade to tater tots or onion rings for a fee. That's a great deal, even with upgrade fees. The vibe inside is a bit dark and cluttered with decor, but don't let that take away from the tasty food. I don't think the facility is pet friendly because it is all indoor seating, but they are customer-with-pets friendly. Dogs, at least. There are pupper treats at the front counter you can just grab for poochie while you're grabbing your human food. The missing star was for the fountain drinks that have no refills. Booo! Other than that, food tasted good, the walls had something different to stare at in each direction. Prices were waaaaay cheap. Parking was a bit squishy, but based on the food served, I can see why it was packed when we got there.

The regulars are Phoenicians who have been coming here for years, and in my opinion, it's one of the few remaining places that hasn't been overrun/changed by the massive population influx in Phoenix. Therefore, the regular patrons have a deep respect and love for this establishment and its people. In other words, don't F with the vibe. Enjoy yourself, but seriously be mindful of the environment. I say this because the staff will swiftly let you know with a verbal reprimand or even just by kicking you out. For example, they don't do takeout. Do not ask. And when they tell you no, do not ask again. That being said, do not expect white glove, highly attentive service. The service is good enough, and that's all that matters. It's a busy establishment and yes you will wait a bit for your food. AGAIN, when you understand the expectations, this can be a fun and highly enjoyable experience, but you have to understand where you are and what it is. Regarding the food, incredible. I stick with the wine burger and the wings with the secret sauce. Absolutely amazing food and the prices are stupid cheap. I'm completely serious when I say this is easily one of the best burgers in Phoenix. The burger is done right, and I really appreciate it. The wine burger kind of melts in your mouth and the portions are huge. Be nice, be observant, tip heavy, temper your service/timing expectations, and you'll enjoy a true local Phoenix spot. It is absolutely worth it.

I stumbled upon Wingstop and decided to make a pit stop on a Saturday evening around 9 p.m. I parked in their complimentary lot that they share with Five Guys, a poke spot, and one or two other businesses. Service (3/5): They cashier was a bit slow taking orders, but was friendly. They also try to upsell you, which is a turn off for me. But, since you're ordering at the counter, and they call your name when your order is ready, service isn't a big part of the experience. Ambiance (3/5): We've all been to Wingstop at one time or another, so you know what to expect from this fast casual restaurant. What I like about this location is that in addition to seating inside, they have a small patio out front with four tables. Which is where I sat because the weather was beautiful. It was also a bit stuffy inside, not sure if their A/C was working at full capacity. Drinks (N/A): No beverages for me on this visit. Food (3.5/5): I have a standard order at Wingstop: classic lemon pepper wings and fries. Let's start with the fries. You can get a regular or large. The regular is more than enough, it's a generous portion. What I like about Wingstop's fries is the seasoning. There has to be some sugar that's part of the seasoning because it makes you want to lick your fingers. On this visit, you could tell the fries had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. Which takes things down a notch. Now, for the star of the show, the wings. Unlike the fries, the wings were freshly fried and served piping hot. To the point where you have to let your food cool down a little bit or you're at risk of burning your tongue. While Wingstop is a chain, their wings are pretty solid. Especially their lemon pepper flavor, which exceeds most other spots I've tried. On this visit, the wings were a little overcooked. Still, all in all, a solid meal. I don't know why Wingstop has such bad reviews. While it's a chain, it's one of my favorite chains, so I'd put them in the upper echelon in this category.

The staff was friendly and nice. The food came out, hot and perfectly cooked. We took it to go.read more
