    .85 Cent wings Wednesday special
    Raina A.

I went here once just cause I was craving late night wings. The service was great guy was nice enough to go through the menu with me. Very chill place to eat in. I enjoyed the lemonade they have here, I'm used to sweet but it was refreshing for sure. Wings are great, fries are great. I do wish they sauce up my buffalo wings more haha but other than that they did not disappoint! (:

I don't go out for burgers much because I generally find them disappointing, but this one was great. I got the classic and it was like a perfected fast food burger. I like that they use quality meat. The waffle fries were tasty and the ranch is definitely made there. I'd have liked to try their vanilla with olive oil soft serve but I was too full. Another time! They also have a full bar but I didn't check out the drink menu. Its not cheap because what is these days and they use really high quality ingredients. The $12 burger I got here was 10× better than the $18 trendy restaurant burger I had earlier in the week.

But that was expected considering it's Tempe near ASU & parking anywhere near ASU w/o using a paid garage is always going to be iffy. **Warning** If you leave the lot on the west side onto University, be extremely careful. There is poor visibility for the driver thanks to a stupid bush blocking your line of sight. Food: meh. The waffle fries and pop were the best part. The burgers (classic & LA) were overpriced and flat. Nothing to brag about. Service: short & sweet. Nothing special that warranted the tip. They took our order & brought the food to the table. No muss, no fuss.

Upbeat crowd, cool vibe, and good choices for drinks and food. I love their pretzel bites and one of the best French dips I've had. Our waitress Siraya was very friendly and attentive. The creamsicle martini was also wonderful... mixed it with a splash of peach High Noon and was delicious! Can't wait to go back for football season! Go Chiefs!

You can tell right away this is the kind of place regulars come back to often. Food I didn't try much food, but I did have the cheese crisp and it was solid. Light, flaky, and more like an open-faced tostada than a quesadilla. It came topped with green chili and chicken, and everything worked well together. Based on that, I'd expect the rest of the menu to be consistent, even if it's not trying to reinvent the wheel. Service Service was efficient, especially considering how busy it was. No complaints here... you can tell the staff knows how to handle a full house and keep things moving. Ambience This is where the place stands out. The vibe feels like a food network designed a biker bar, but in a fun, not over-the-top way. It's also apparently a Kansas City Chiefs bar, which adds to the identity. There was a live band playing early 2000s rock hits, which kept the energy up. Crowd was friendly overall, very much a neighborhood crowd. Overall This isn't a destination bar, but it's a really solid go-to if you live nearby. Think of it as an elevated dive/sports bar with a strong local following. Good drinks, good energy, and a place that does what it's supposed to do well.

The outside honestly looked like one of those cozy restaurants you'd see in a K-drama with the glowing lights and busy vibe. When we walked in, it was already pretty packed, and more people kept coming in after us, so that's always a good sign lol. The service was also amazing and everyone was really nice. Obviously we had to order the fried chicken, and I loved that all the sauces came on the side so you could dip and try different flavors without the chicken getting soggy. And the biggest surprise for me was the cheesy corn topped with pork. I would have never thought of that combo myself, but it was actually so good. Creamy, savory, cheesy perfection. We went pretty late at night, so parking was easy for us, but I could definitely see it getting hectic during the day since it's in the same plaza as H Mart. So best to double check before going!

After deciding on fried chicken, instead of traditional wings, it took way too long to place an order despite 5 employees (not sure if they were actually employees, it just seemed like 5 people running a co op and hanging out or something) being near us. As we were waiting for our food, we glanced around and saw many odd things like a filing cabinet used to store chopsticks and other items. We wanted to sit at the bar but half of it was taken by employees, boxes of shoes, really random items. After about 15 minutes the chicken came out. No sign of the ranch that we requested, but at least we had food. After looking at the chicken, it became apparent that they had brought us wings. I asked the employee if they had made a mistake, but he let me know that their fried chicken is all wings, despite the word "wings" never appearing on the menu in the fried chicken section. The saving grace here is that the chicken WINGS were quite tasty. The breading was crispy and the sauces were good. I could see how this would get soggy for takeout, so I recommend dining in for fried chicken WINGS. Overall, super weird place but the chicken WINGS are good.

Fast forward a few weeks back I took my friend to The Mailing Store next door. I noticed that there was a line outside this restaurant before it opened so that caught our attention. I assume they were having a job hiring thing since people had papers in their hand. My friend was curious and walked over to somebody who was waiting in their car to ask. Strange coincidence, as life sometimes happens, it was someone I knew. The folks I help with their nonprofit charity . We started chatting and they told us the owner Periodically gives out free food to help people in the community. Not scheduled something he does and advertises online every now and again. I'm really not a wing eater but my friend convinced me to go in and get some. I think the first 30 people get freebies. So I went in and got some. They have lots of different unique flavors. You can't really ask on the freebies so I just let them give me what they gave me and took them home. I was presently surprised how much I liked them. Kudos to the owner for helping out people in the community and having food that's tasty to boot. Good job!
