We ordered a few things such as as the duck prosciutto sandwich, raw oysters, clam chowder, and the absolute star of the show, a side of the spicy habanero garlic butter! The bread for the duck prosciutto sandwich was amazing. I just wish they put more meat and/or fixing because the sandwich was on the smaller side given the price tag. Tasty for sure, especially dipping the sandwich into the garlic butter. Oysters were super fresh, and wouldn't hesitate to order again. They have a bunch of jams and hot sauces that you can buy to take home, along with pre-packaged habanero garlic butter (which we ended up buying and have been putting on everything we've been eating). Definitely recommend picking up this butter for at-home cooking because it adds a nice layer of spice to any meal without being overly spicy. For the jams, there's so many options and the staff was kind enough to do a jam sampling with us and after tasting we ended up with a jar of their padron pepper jelly. Put it on my sandwich at home, instantly elevated it to another level. Staff from start to finish was a 10/10. Very kind, super attentive, and made us feel very welcomed. Overall, I'll definitely will be back to buy more of the spicy garlic butter and jams!

I elected to have it with butter served on a warm roll. An abundance of lobster. I followed that up with a bowl of New England clam chowder. Also another good choice. The server and owner were both very pleasant and accommodating. What nice hospitality. We ate at the counter. A nice dining experience.

Finally got around to trying out Gervasoni's after putting it on my list ages ago--the frog legs…read morecaught my eye and my heart and I was so excited to try them! We hadn't made any dinner plans this evening so tonight was the night! Gervasoni's is a great little hole in the wall. The decor is a bit mismatched so the vibe is kind of all over the place but it's still a good time. The staff are all really nice, the service is prompt. It's clean and tidy inside. The food was kind of lackluster though, which is why I can't give it a higher rating. A special appetizer, they had crabcakes this evening. It's important to note that I'm a Marylander, born and bred so I have incredibly strong feelings about crabcakes. I pretty much know to be very cautious about anything offered outside of my home state. The proper ones should be all crab with just enough 'filler' to hold them together. These were the complete opposite. I split the order with my partner and still gave up halfway through an individual cake. They just weren't for me. I had intended to get the frog legs to try them for the very first time in my life but they were all out! My partner got the fish and chip special. We were both surprised to see that the fish weren't beer battered, but it does look like they make them fresh in house instead of frozen and that is very cool! He loved the coleslaw and said it was really good! He also got the limelight cocktail and it was delicious. Strong too, so worth every reasonable penny! I ordered the filet mignon and while cooked to perfect medium rare, it was not a good representation of the the cut itself. It was very fatty, segmented, and was rather tough in spots to cut. I also wish that when our server had asked if vegetables were okay, they had specified that the vegetables were just zucchini. They were large pieces, cooked to be quite mushy, and were greasy. Killer mash and gravy though. Here's the thing: I will be back! I wanna try out the sandwich/salad side of the menu and get a cocktail for myself! And try the desserts! I still have a really good feeling about this place! Just need to find the right entree for me.

We put our name on the list and had to wait 10 mins to get seated. We didn't mind since they seem to have more staff to handle the crowd. We got seated and within a minute or so, our waitress came over to greet and take our order. We got the combo 3 with Dungeoness crab seasoned with garlic butter medium. Added 2 garlic noodles and 2 side of rice. Overall, I got my crab fix and my wife had her shrimp fix. Our waitress Soledad was great. Very friendly and attentive. The bag arrived much spicier than expected, and my friend was barely able to eat it. When we brought it up, our server immediately insisted it was the correct spice level rather than checking with the kitchen or trying to find a solution. She also assumed I would finish the entire bag myself, when I explained we share one, and would have to charge us extra for a new bag or small side portion for my friend but it was not our mistake. What disappointed me most was the lack of service recovery. There was no apology, no effort to investigate, and no attempt to accommodate the situation. Mistakes happen, but good customer service is about how they're handled. Unfortunately, I left feeling dismissed rather than helped.

I can finally say it was 4 out of 5. Next time, I'll probably order the "Burn My Tongue" level because I love my food really spicy...like really spicy. I definitely enjoy bold heat. The service was decent as well. I just wish our server had come back to check on us a couple more times because it was a little hard to get her attention. I needed a few extra lemons, and it took a while to ask. Other than that, everything was good overall.

I really wanted to like this spot, but we probably won't be coming back anytime soon…read more We love the Milpitas location and assumed all locations offered the same drinks. We were disappointed to find out this one doesn't offer micheladas or Coke Zero (only Diet), both of which the Milpitas location offers. Service was also frustrating. We came in for a Friday lunch and they weren't busy, yet it took a while for anyone to acknowledge us and seat us. Even getting our order in was difficult because our server rarely came by. There were only a few other tables and three servers total, so it didn't make sense. We had to wave multiple times just to get someone's attention. The biggest issue was when we ordered 3 lunch shrimp boils and added 1/2 lb of extra sausage. Each lunch is supposed to come with 1 corn, 2pcs sausage, 2 pcs potatoes, and 1 boiled egg. Naturally, we assumed ordering 3 lunches would mean three orders of all of that, and one of the bags would have the extra sausage. Instead, they put all the shrimp into one bag. Ok fine but then we noticed we only had 1 corn when we should've had 3 in there. Once we noticed we were short on corn, we realized we were short on everything else too, with 2 pcs potatoes, and 1 egg in the entire bag. When we brought it up, our server said we should have specified that we wanted three separate bags. That didn't make sense to us. We've ordered the same way at the Milpitas location and received 3 separate bags with all the included items in each. Even if they combined everything into one bag, it doesn't explain why we were missing sides or why we would want less sides. She did say she'd bring out the missing items, but again, it was difficult to get her attention. The servers were mostly standing behind the counter instead of checking on tables. We also noticed their lunch pricing varies depending on shrimp head-on or head-off, which is different from the other location (they charge the same for either) and the Stockton location is slightly more expensive for lunch too..maybe b/c they add an egg? The egg was also over boiled and almost grey inside (you know what I'm talking about!) The yolk just crumbled. The sauce though was consistent and that's what we love about Cajun Crackin. Same great flavor. Overall, we wanted to give this location a chance, but between the slow service, the pushback on what should have been a straightforward order, and the limited drink options, it just didn't leave a good impression.

Just got a pizza to go from this new(ish) spot - YUM!…read more I had no idea what to expect. I didn't even know Escalon had a new pizza place, to be totally honest. It's sort of tucked away towards the back of the plaza but don't sleep on this spot, the owner was super friendly and the service was fast. The decor inside is also really cute. I got an all meat specialty pizza, an order of cheese breadsticks, and an order of garlic bites for under $30! Talk about a great deal! The garlic bites are reminiscent of the Parmesan bread bites from Domino's except the dough is a lot fresher and the bites aren't oily. They were fine, but nothing compared to the cheesy bread and the pizza! *insert drool emoji* HOW is this dough so fluffy!!! It's light and airy and the cheese and toppings are fresh. I also have a huge appreciation for a spot that gives out good ranch, not the prepackaged stuff. 10 out of 10!! Sorry Mountain Mike's, but I'm going to keep driving until I hit Tahoe's!

But you be the judge for yourself, nothing like nostalgia from the 90s.
