My buddy and I start picking out 12 donuts there's a little bit of argument over the quantity of each recipe but after a quick negotiation we decided on 12 donuts two of these donuts were supposed to be filled with apple filling of some sort apple cinnamon And with that being the case there is a additional charge of $.25 per donut are leaving and could not wait to get into these donuts started scarfing them during the ride home just to be completely disappointed when there was no filling in it just a cinnamon sugary piece of shit apple .25 extra fee donut. read more

I initially left a more positive review (and I still stand by the staff being polite but not overly friendly and understanding that it's probably a busy job where needing to get things done takes priority). Overall this place is still a solid place to go and get a donut but the donut I received didn't have any filling in it. It was one of the limited edition donuts so it was a little disappointing since I might not get another opportunity to try it. If you come by, double check your donut if you can to make sure you get what you want. Sold donuts that looked like a child made them not as shown with cute cat sugar candy on top. I said two Halloween CAT donuts but what they didn't explain was they no longer had cat decor and instead would squiggle a tiny yellow blob with a black bird. Came in after deciding to avoid the nearby Christmas shopper filled restaurants. We each enjoyed a doughnut and I had a small vanilla iced coffee. Service was with a smile. The floors were clean and dry which in the winter with wet sloppy streets is a task in itself. They had quite a few Holiday themed doughnuts but I stuck with a classic. I've used to live in Spokane and this was my favorite place to get coffee and donuts. I was in town on Saturday and made my friend drove me here so I can get some donuts. We were in a hurry to do some shopping so we used the drive through. I was very excited for donuts and dying for some coffee. We ordered 2 dozens of donuts and a nonfat latte. The coffee was so hot so I waited at least 10 mins before trying to drink it. Well I was so disappointed when I noticed a small yellow crumb on my lips when trying to drink my coffee. So I opened the top to look thru. Well I realized they served me rotten milk in my coffee. A big chunk of thick yellow cottage cheese like is floating in my coffee!!! It was so disgusting!!! This traumatized me forever and I will always check my coffee from now on! I made my girlfriend drove me back to the store to let them know that they should be checking their milk and their products before they serve to their customers!!! The manager looked at me weird when I asked for my money back for the coffee when she asked if she can make us a new one. Ummmm....NO!!! I would never order another coffee from them. Also she told us that she has been working here for 3 yrs and this has never happen before. Well I guess checking their milk is also not a routine for the last 3 yrs!!!!! HORRIBLE! A step up from grocery store donuts, but a giant step down from Dunkin' Donuts or Top Pot Doughnuts. They sell a large selection of fresh and tasty donuts. A little on the small side (especially compared to Top Pot), and personally, I think the filled donuts should have more filling.It took a couple bites to get the creme in my creme-filled, chocolate-glazed donut. That'd never happen with a Dunkin' Donut. Just sayin'. Let's just say that if Top Pot or Dunkin' Donuts opened up in the Spokane area, no one would come here. read more

I've always loved and only ever heard great things about Krispy Kreme. It's been a really long time since I've actually been to one, and when I found out that this one is not too far from Coeur d'Alene, I've currently visited it those 2 times I had to go to Spokane anyways. However, two *VERY* different experiences each time. As mentioned I haven't been to a Krispy Kreme for awhile and was just craving to get some, and so thinking that the late night visit would be a splurge with surely little doughnuts left, the nice guys working told me "oh, you can get a dozen for $6 bucks actually!" I *literally* stared shocked with mouth open, thinking I misheard him and asked to make sure. I was again SHOCKED by the rare awesome deal of 12 delicious doughnuts for only $6 bucks!! I spend more on my weekly Starbucks coffee haha. They were really nice and helpful about everything, and the donuts were mouth watering amazing and the leftovers lasted awhile too. However! The 2nd time I got to go a few months later, the lady and apparent new guy were *really* rude. I don't like to hold anything against anyone in customer service having worked it myself and I usually don't leave bad reviews, but tonight was pretty ridiculous. I wasn't greeted, and waited at least a few minutes before the lady finally acknowledged me walking around in front of the registers waiting to be served. She then told me in probably the most confusing way possible that I'd have to wait for the "deal". I didn't understand what she meant by how she was barely explaining it, and she then said that 2 other customer groups were there first and I'd have to wait. I replied and inquired with okay that's fine, how long of a wait, and she snootily didn't give a clear answer. Apparently the drive-thru customers were much more important and she couldn't serve anyone the 12 for $6 donut deal until *exactly* 9pm. Pretty ridiculous, and then the lady who came in after me was treated even worse! She asked about the deal and the man told her yes we have the 12 for $6, and she said but you told me you didn't have any deals? He said "we do." She said okay but that's not what you told me originally. He said "it's my 3rd day" and then the lady serving me helped her. I feel for the new guy, but if you're working night shifts, you should definitely know about your main evening "deal". I had no doubt the other customer was annoyed as well, and although I usually feel bad for the employees, these 2 employees were just not caring to the in person customers at all. However, service exceeds some locations and the brewed dark coffee is awesome. Not a disappointment, still very sugary good. They couldn't ever compete with Voodoo or Rebel donuts:-) read more

But these guys actually came through for our wedding. We had Krispy Kreme donut holes flambéd in Fireball and Myers Rum over ice cream. They were super good about communication for 200 donut holes. I have enjoyed Krispy kreme doughnuts since I was introduced to them in 96, unfortunately I now will not be enjoying them any longer my experience this weekend with an employee has sickened me to the point I cannot go back. My daughter and I went to get a dozen donuts as we were standing in line we watched the young man at the donut counter helping the lady in front of us, when he finished he then rubbed his fingers on his left hand thru his greasy hair and with the same hand grabbed his mask on his face and scratched his nose,which we had already witness him do twice before. We had also noticed he had not changed his glove he was only wearing one and had helped two customers before, so I then asked him to change and wash his hands before helping us, he proceeded to get visibly irritated with us rolling his eyes and when he did speak to us he was snappy, not only is it not OK for someone in the food business to get upset by a customer asking them to wash thier hands before serving food but it is absolutely outrageous that he get upset when asked to wash his hands during this pandemic! I will be telling everyone I know to avoid Krispy kreme because of this young man's hygiene and attitude! ! read more

I am sure there are many people who can say nay to a doughnut that melts in your mouth... I am not one of them. My love affair with KK goes back years to my time on the east coast and although the locations out west are a lot newer and classic modern instead of classic classic (or what some people refer to as original or just old), the original glazed doughnut remains the same. The Spokane Valley location is of that classic modern variation. When I have time, its still cool to go inside and watch the doughnuts being made and sometimes get one fresh off the line. We stopped at the Spokane Valley, Washington store 1/28/16 on our trip home from Oregon. Bought several dozen donuts to bring to our families back here. Discovered a $4.00 extra "assorted upcharge" on our receipt after we got home. I object to having to pay your employees $2/dozen to do their job (poorly), especially when we were the only customers in your franchise store. The lady behind the counter was abrupt and irritated that we wanted assortments. Krispy Kreme is way overpriced already and now you extort an "assorted upcharge" for your products for rude service? I really don't understand what the KK (Krispy Kreme) hype is all about. I prefer another national brand (hint-you can find it in your coffee aisle :-DD) They only thing thats pretty cool about this place is that they have a see through assembly line, meaning that you can see them make the donuts from the flour all the way to the end of the line. I'll give them a plus for that. They also have 50% off a dozen donuts after 9pm, they close at 10 or 11. They are beginning to expand their menu a bit and selling combo's, pairing dounts and coffee/chocolate/milk. read more

My boyfriend and I went in at about 7pm on Sunday evening to pick out a dozen donuts. We walked into the store and saw about seven employees working behind the plexiglass by the donut conveyor belt thing, not one person said hello. We were the only customers in the store so immediately I felt awkward. We stood there at the donut case still not one person said hello or acknowledged us with a friendly nod or a "hi I'll be right with you". Nothing. We felt invisible. It was so uncomfortable I almost walked out of the store without buying anything. I mean that many employees, no other customers and nobody even acknowledges that we walked in the door? I was like "hello!!! Are we invisible or something" after standing there for 10 mins. Krispy Kreme has really good donuts but they ought to invest in a little customer service training for their employees. A simple quote hello goes a long way in retail.
