We haven't visited in quite a while because of poor service in the past, but since we were in the area we decided to give this place another try. Unfortunately, the experience was just as bad if not worse. The employee helping customers was clearly unhappy to be there and was openly rude to the people in front of us. When it was our turn, he treated us the same way. Many of the product tags were incorrect, which caused confusion while ordering. Each time we asked for clarification, he rolled his eyes or responded with obvious annoyance. When we politely mentioned that the labels were wrong, he simply stared at us and said, "What else?" I work in customer service myself, so I understand that tough days happen but this level of attitude was shocking. To make matters worse, after ringing us up he picked/scratched his nose and immediately began helping the next customer without washing his hands. Customer service may not be the right fit for him. Brought my grandson for a special treat while I am in town. Donuts of course were amazing. Staff was so rude, glaring at us rudely, while my grandson watched the process of making donuts. When I asked what they do with the non perfect donuts, I got an answer but the employee was not friendly and acted as if I was inconveniencing her (after spending $45 on donuts). Shame on you Krispy Kreme for throwing away perfectly good food rather than selling at a discount or donating to a local shelter. We will be supporting small and local donut shops from now on. The apple fritter was not that tasty. The clerk that waited on me indicated my bill was $3.71. Apparently, stores are doing away with pennies so instead of giving me change of .29 cents out of $4.00, she gave me a quarter. Personally, this is the last time to set foot in this store. The kids home for midterm break so the Wife and I decided the night before we would like Krispy Kreme for breakfast. Sooo I headed in at 630 before wifey and my kiddo woke up. A while back we bought a coupon kit from our nephew to support his high school sports. There was a coupon for Kristy Kreme so we could buy a dozen at half off and get a free dozen of the famous glazed donuts. Great deal!! I grabbed a bunch of filled donuts a few frosted.. I then combined boxes and dropped one box off at mom's... this site is clean and staff is very nice. Wouldn't normally write a review for a chain's donuts, but this place is rated very low for the quality of their donuts and the poor service. We experienced neither. Worst customer service experience of my life. Came through the drive through around 9:30, they close at 10. Employee taking my order was impatient, rushed me to order, told him I needed a second and that I would have two transactions and asked me multiple questions before I was ready to order, huffed when I was taking too long for him, was incredibly rude while taking my order, asked me if I wanted some $9.99 deal but I didn't know what it was because I didn't have time to look at the menu to find it, cut me off multiple times while I was trying to order my second order and said he needed to know how many I was getting (couldn't have just waited)?When I got to the window an older employee was at the register, said something about the $9.99 deal, I told him I didn't understand what that was and he said very rudely "well I can just ring you up for the $17 normal price if you like." At this point I'm over it and tell him I just need the two boxes however it rings up in the computer. The entire interaction was so uncalled for and generally appalling. Both employees need some customer service training, I will likely never purchase here again for my business meetings or personal needs. Went to the store every night for the past 4 nights, they are out of EVERY donut. How can you operate a donut shop and not have donuts? I love Krispy kreme doughnuts, but, customer service is horrible. Every single time I go through drive thru, I have to check if the doughnuts I ordered are the right one. They tell me because a lot of doughnuts look alike they might have make a mistake... I go to Krispy Kreme 1a week, to buy for 5 of my family members, they all want specific doughnuts, so do I. Then, when I forget to check(specially at drive through), come home, and be so disappointed that I didn't get a doughnut that I've been craving for a week. Went here in the afternoon with a donut craving. Walked into a heavenly smell. Fresh donuts being fried in the fryer. Went up to the counter and was greeted by Ben. He was amazing. I asked about if one of the donuts (the ugly sweater) was filled and he said no but he could do it for us if that is what we wanted. He listed the filings we could get and then once we made our selection went back and filled them for us. It went above and beyond what was expected. He was super energetic and excited about being there and providing great customer service. The donuts are always great, but for someone to go out of their was was super sweet and is definitely a reason to come back. Great job : ). So on 03/18/23 I went into the store at 6:14am. Besides stuffed donuts, I only saw mini donuts available, which were in the display already. As we never make it out that way, I was surprising my kids with this treat. I ordered 8 minis for a total of $10. As I have Celiac, I am unable to try these myself. I brought them home, and to my surprise, they were so incredibly dry that my children who eat anything sweet would not touch them. When inspecting them, they looked either way overcooked or 3 days stale. I called back just a few hours after getting them and talked with a young lady who offered a replacement, but that would be an hour round-trip. So she said she would take my name and address and send the complaint to corporate, who would send me a coupon for a dozen free assorted donuts. I was told a few days to reach corporate, and then a few days after that, I would get a coupon sent. I waited 10 days as our mail sucks and nothing arrived. I called back, and another young lady answered and said she wasn't supposed to take calls, but the manager was busy and that I should give it a few more days. I waited 3 more days and decided to call back. I talked with a Rachelle(probably spelling her name wrong) today, and she offered a replacement. Unfortunately it's still an hour trip and I have 3 of 4 of my family are terribly sick. Plus, I said I don't want a replacement/refund if I have a coupon on the way. She sent the call back to the office so she could check on things. Turns out the original manager on duty never sent coupons out, and even though I spelled the street name out carefully and slowly, it was still taken down completely wrong. So, it is nearly 2 weeks and no coupons. If my family wasn't so sick, I would have gone down today and gotten the new donuts. I didn't want a refund as we were told we would get a dozen assorted donuts for our trouble. I'm not sure if that's what we are going to get, but this coupon if it arrives will likely be the last time we visit here. I have gotten better quality donuts from Safeway or even a gas station, for that matter. So disappointing. read more

We were noticing that people in the drive through were getting their doughnuts so just as we thought to leave and go through the drive through, Someone came to help us. Ordered a dozen variety doughnuts. I love the original glazed ones. The others tend to taste the same. So original glazed and apple fritters are my faves. Not only did the guy take my coupon but he also told me that all doughnuts that were left at the end of the night go 1/2 off before closing so we waited 10 min and got our coupon deal plus the 50 percent off. I can't come often, it's too far to drive "on a whim" . The staff is always friendly. Sometimes they're out of some kinds, but it's not their fault I don't have time to wait. There's usually an adequate substitute. I always go for raspberry filled glazed & this time they gladly gave me a drizzle of chocolate on it when I asked! I tried two of their specials: a strawberry & a key lime. The strawberry needed more strawberry filling & it would've been nice to have the frosting be strawberry flavored too. The key lime was lackluster; the frosting was too sweet & needed to be lime flavored. The lime cream filling wasn't as limey as I would have liked. read more

So it seems everyone in the world is in love with Krispy Kreme. They sell them for fund raisers, and seems that whenever the "hot fresh doughnuts" sign lights up, people appear out of nowhere and line up. Thing is, Krispy Kreme tastes about the same everywhere. I guess that is really good if you really love them, but I gotta say I don't get wowed by the taste. Krispy Kreme doughnuts are not horrible, don't get me wrong. But I have been to so many one owner one location places that taste so much better, I just can't get excited about the average unsurprising taste that is the same at every Krispy Kreme I have been to all around the country. I will say the staff at this particular location are very friendly and helpful, and they make the experience nicer. I will also say they keep the place pretty clean, and the prices seem pretty fair to me. One other thing I kind of enjoy, when it is rolling, is watching the big doughnut maker machine do its thing. I expect Oompa Loompas to start singing a doughnut making song at any moment. So overall, I would say for the good customer service alone these guys are better than a lot of places.
