They should change the name from Krispy Kreme to Krispy Fream because that's all you're going to do when you go in there is dream about getting them. We counted them. There were 9 employees in that store! They all appear to be busy but none of them seem to be getting anything done. We had one walk up and say can I help you but then she walked away and never came back. A second employee did the same thing. There are only two people waiting in line. The place was almost empty except for us. After we finally got the donuts we waited around to be checked out. We almost left the money on the counter and walked out because no one was there to check us out. They were all standing around doing other things. Wheel of the donuts at Krispy Kreme but not the wait. They also appear to be getting more expensive and smaller. I guess there are spending too much money hiring employees that don't work. That might be why why they've had to raise the price of their donuts! If you plan on going to the Oxnard Krispy Kreme anytime soon just remember you won't get a Krispy Kreme you'll get a crispy dream, because you will fall asleep waiting for somebody to help you!! read more

Can I just say that i'm excited we have a Krispy Kreme in Oxnard back ! I consider myself a regular customer & The only reasons why i'm not giving 5 stars is because you know there's usually a long line and the ONE TIME I go is when there's literally NO ONE in line in the drive thru AND what happens? I get some stale ass doughnuts . ISNT KRISPY KREME KNOWN FOR FRESH DOUGHNUTS? no mames?!?! Come on . The doughnuts were cold and tasted like a dry cake . I don't want to be one of those customers and ask for fresh doughnuts EVERYTIME I go now. Went through the drive thru yesterday morning before work and ordered a medium iced vanilla coffee, when I got to the window, they handed me a small iced coffee. I asked saying I ordered a medium and the continued to tell me that it was a medium. I got a small iced coffee a few days prior, so I know they just didn't want to say they messed up and give me the correct one. I've been driving by for the past two nights and have had to drive back home with no donuts. The drive thru is a SHAME. The owner needs to hire more employees. You are losing customers as more people are getting turned off by the wait time both in the drive-thru and in line. Nobody wants to wait for an hour and a half for donuts, Krispy Kreme or not. My first impression was that it was too busy and hectic of a place, and not worth all the hassle. Also, if people are gonna wait for an hour and a half like some of these folks here, please make sure they get their order right at least. Again, more employees are needed. The rating speaks for itself. However, I will give you my experience so you can arrive to your own conclusion. I went to Krispy Kreme with my girlfriend. When we were trying to pick out the donuts we want, the guy taking out the donuts put a wrong doughnut in the box. Strike one! That's a strike because he told us that he put the correct doughnut in the box. Anyway, next up we have the girl at the register. Her name was Kassitee. I was clearly first in line, just waiting for my coffee to be made, when Kassitee saw her friend and put her order ahead of mine. Strike TWO!! To clarify, Kassitee told me to wait for my coffee to be made, and let her friend order. She made the coffee for her and started having a 10 minute long conversation. Finally, she caught me staring her down, and said, "oh your coffee is almost done." That's when I saw here BEGAN making the F#ckin coffee. STRIKE THREE!!!!. Anyway, That was my experience. I don't want Kassitee to get fired, but can someone please give this poor girl a lesson in customer service. I hate to ruin a name of a place that makes good tasting donuts. By the way, for those wondering how much the doughnuts cost, they are about $1.39, $1.89 each based on the doughnut size. Hope this helps. read more

After waiting for about an hour and half, I was very disappointed when I was told at the ordering window they are all out of basically every donut except for the original glaze. I received a dozen original glazed donuts that had felt cold as if they had been sitting there for several hours. I guess it's understandable being that they just opened up, I will have to return once the craziness dies down to experience a true Krispy creme donut and its freshness. Regardless, although the donuts weren't the freshest they were still tasty. My rating is based upon my overall experience, but in general I have hope that it wont always be like this and in the future hopefully they have all donuts available. On another note, I know a certain person that had been during the morning and had about 15 min wait thru the drive thru, perhaps the craziness will die down sooner than expected. read more

Kinda overrated. Go to rolling pin in Camarillo instead. If you are going here though, just get original glazed donuts or a jelly filled. All the other flavors are odd. We waited about 20 mins in a security guarded drive through anxiously waiting the love from a hot freshly made glazed orgasm...finally our turn we ordered 1 dozen glazed doughnuts a coffee and hot chocolate...upon receiving our doughnuts I put the box on my lap expecting to be slightly warmed by the magic that is Krispy Kreme..to my surprise we got a cold box of halfway glazed over night sadness.my wife did not want me to complain or hold up this line half way down the block so we left peacefully. Decided to try it again! Better flavor but just too much glaze. Note: tell your employees to change their attitudes. When you are waiting in long lines for hot glazed donuts, dont get mad when the customer asks for fresh hot donuts. Thats what its about Oxnard KK. Being rude, a second time in a row when requesting hot fresh donuts is unacceptable. We are long time KK customers and make long drives to get them, you are just a few miles to us in comparison, but your donuts & customer service is inferior. the best advise I can give is throw out donuts that are not fresh, dont push them onto customers who are in drive thru as hot or fresh. Just ordered a dozen of glazed donuts for the first time since this new location has opened up and I have NO complaints, whatsoever. Everything was packaged nicely (I went through the drive-thru) and I was out of there in a few minutes! They tasted just as good as I remember them! I am a huge Krispy Kreme fan and was excited to have a location closer to home. I drove 30 mins on Sunday morning to pick up some donuts, excited to try the new Nutella donuts. The employees let me know that they wouldn't be making the Nutella donuts until noon, which is odd considering it is their featured donut. He got a real smart attitude and said she could go to Burbank to get some gift cards. I personally don't care for their donuts because they are small and overpriced. I enjoy the warm treats here.. The lines are rather slow (although many young workers) and at times the wrong donuts are under the incorrect names. I had been wanting to come by since opening day but that drive through line was so extremely long. I finally decided to go no matter how long the wait I came the first Saturday night they were open and I expected a long wait I brought my mom along. It was actually fun passing the time counting how many cars were in front and behind us in the drive through line. We would count the watch a few make up tutorials online lol. Before we knew it it was our turn to order we went at 10:30 pm and ordered at 12:30 am. So it was a two hour wait but again I went on the first Saturday they were open. The good thing is the drive through is open 24 hours a day. Any way we ordered two dozen glazed two dozen chocolate one half glaze and half chocolate and one dozen assorted filled donuts. They did mess up and only gave us chocolate custard donuts instead of assorted ones, but my mom went in to let them know about the mistake and she got to keep that dozen and get the dozen assorted free. The donuts were absolutely delicious and I can't wait until the craziness subsides so I can go more often. read more

I love krispy kreme but this location somehow never has any donuts as in any of the more unique different types of donuts...I've visit here at least 4 times and they never have the strawberry shortcake eclair, apple fritter, cinnamon donut etc... First time here .... the opening week... everything was great except no fountain drinks, but I could live with that. 2 weeks later the only donuts fit to eat were the originals. Girl (Jeny) at the cash register charged us while I was asking her about the reward membership. Told us that we can pay this first and she can add what we paid after we bring the app back, so I did and went back to speak to her but she told us that she cannot do that or return and recharge the item since her manager was not at store (Debbie Spencer). Well I actually waited 10mins to speak to a manager to ask why she gave me a wrong info but guess what? The manager wasn't even the store manager, she was a visitor? Manager and no one was actually listening her when she was explaining employees... there's a reason why this company close the other location few years ago. Ok, this place is a disastrous no for me. Let's begin by I am not hip on doughnuts to begin with but I really wanted one so we stopped in on our way home Saturday night. The place was busy and the inventory was low. There were doughnuts sitting in the line cold and not glazed. After waiting in line to see the only doughnut I want and Bam, the lady in front of us took the last two chocolate glazed ones so I asked if they were making more. He looked back asked around then said no. That was the only one I wanted. after seeing one labeled cream cheese I asked for that one but, it was not labeled properly so I justpicked out a glazed and a chocolate top glazed. My friends picked out 4 others. At the checkout I saw they had the ones I wanted in the drive thru Line so I asked the checker to put 2 in. I was told a dozen was only a bit more so the first guy we had loaded a box with a few more choice items. At the register again, the cashier says there are one too many in the boxes and other guy (who was first guy who didn't look at the drive thru window to see the chocolate ones I wanted) literally threw one of them, his choice, onto the wet counter then into the trash. Mind you, gloves were used to pack them and to throw it on the wet counter. What waste. It could have been back into inventory or left in the box. To my amusement, I'm glad it wasn't in the box because the doughnuts were awful. Too over glazed and the oil was burnt and the doughnuts tasted completely burnt! read more
