Finding this store was easier than I thought. It's West on Country Line before Quebec on the south side. I was leary of returning to this location since last year I had a celestial encounter at an intersection by the Centenial airport one evening. I slowed down in a turn about because I saw a large dark object, and was afraid it was a stalled truck. Suddenly they turned on their lights, and it wasn't a stalled SUV but a large triangular craft lit up like an Xmas tree with very brite red and green lights. It hovered over my car as my daughter and I sat there and stared at it. The drivers manual doesn't come with instructions in case you run into one of these things at an intersection. I gathered they were as shocked as we were so after 5 minutes I proceeded slowly by driving under the craft and away. The polite pilots waited for me to pass them, and then they lifted off at a sharp angle, turning off their brite lights, and with only a few dimly blinking lights like a regular plane, they ascended. I watched them in my rear view mirror. An oops for sure on their part. So one can understand how tense I was returning to this location. I was so nervous that I had passed the donut store, and my son started complaining about my bad driving skills from the back seat, while his older sister rang out her displeasure at her brother's screaming. I waited for a nerve to pop out of my forehead as I tried to navigate my way back to the entrance. By the time we pulled up, I was fuming quietly but my kids were as enthusiastic like youngsters pulling up to Disneyland. Not wanting to keep them waiting any longer I unlocked the doors, and my kids ran out like it was a race for the door, not holding the door for each other, or myself, like nothing else mattered. I wanted to say something boring and parental but my eyes locked onto the donut display, and I understood the frenzy. My mouth hung open like a fool drooling at perfection. My kids quickly made their selection, and we were encouraged to purchase a half a dozen donuts instead of 5 because it's more cost saving. BTW they are kosher and the staff is more than happy to show you their certificate. I watched my children inhale their surgary food while I ate my freshly cut up vegetables. Yes a great place to go for a delicious treat. Just don't expect your family to act righteous towards each other when they run into the building looking to fulfill their sweet tooth needs. Hey, it can happen to anyone. We aren't robots after all. And neither were the polite neighbors who waited for me to drive off first. Thanks fellas for not taking me. When I visited, the donuts were hot and fresh and the service was efficient and friendly. My issue is that their donuts aren't as good as some of the other family-run donuts shops in the neighborhood. The Krispy Kreme donuts have too much glaze, the fillings are just meh, and overall, they aren't as tasty as others in the area. I stop by here if the other competitor donut shop is sold out. The good news about this location is that they don't sell out. Other nearby donut shops in the area make their daily allotment and when they sell out, they close for the rest of the day. Krispy Kreme keeps making donuts all day so they never run out (although you could also get an old donut). read more

Went there this morning and the line was long so I decided to look at their app which pushes you to load money onto a card to get rewards. I added $15 on to it and sat in line. When I got to the speaker the guy said "go ahead" I tried to order and then he shouted at me to hold on. I waited and then a lady came on the speaker and asked me to order when I did she shouted at me "I CANT HEAR YOU" I spoke up trying to be nice but kinda ticked off. When I got to the window I took out my phone to have her scan the app and she told me she couldn't scan it because it was a "gift card". I essentially paid $30 for rude service and an "assortment" of the same doughnut. read more

The donuts here are great but the customer service is horrible. I ordered a coffee in the drive through and when i got to the window they asked what i was waiting for and I said the specialty latte and she said what is a specialty latte?? as if it is t on the menu... then I repeated myself and said a vanilla specialty latte. She finally decided to make my drink and when she gave it to me she told me I don't need to have an attitude when i was simply just asking for the drink I ordered. I would rather get a donut and coffee at a gas station off of Colfax then ever come in contact with that purple haired employee again. read more

I LOVE Krispy Kreme donuts. So on a cool, rainy commute home, I decided to use the drive up to order 4 donuts and a small coffee. It was absolutely pouring, so when I used the drive through, the interior of my car (and I) got soaking wet. I got my donuts and started to sip on my hot coffee on my drive home. Haven't been here since before COVID and we were so excited to pick them up for our crew this AM. We preordered a dozen donuts online to pick up at 5:30 so we wouldn't be late to the construction site. However, when we joined the drive through the truck in front of us didn't move for over 10 minutes so we ran inside. There, we were told they didn't start on our order and they are still working on the man in front of us. Two people were packing the donut box and the rest were getting things ready for the day. Didn't seem like an effective system... the box of donuts we revisited were cold and most likely from the night before. It's my son birthday, he wanted donuts and see how they are made. Well we pack the kids up travel 1hr 15 mins,we get their and the kids are excited as can be. 4 and 7 year olds, the kids go against the glass so they can see what's going on and this women comes banging on the glasses yelling for them to get off the ledge. They have no type of sign stating they should not be against it. Scared the crap out of my kids! It was very rude and and didn't not appreciated at all. It could of been handled in a better way! Great doughnuts awful service. I had gone for the senior event of free doughnuts but also wanted to purchase and extra two doughnuts. When I went to use my debit card because the people in front of me used there's no problem the manager stopped me, not the cashier, and she said they couldn't accept card anymore and only cash all of a sudden. HOT NOW! I'm sure that means many things to different people. But those that frequent Krispy Kreme know that it means a free sample. I'm a huge fan of doughnuts but I usually buy them as a bribe for my husband. When I know I'm going to be gone most of the weekend these little jelly filled doughnuts divert his attention from me or perhaps the lack of me being around. These are better than money, beer and anything else used to bride the male species (IMO) or at least for mine. If you can imagine the scene in Lord of the Rings with Smeagol with his precious this might describe the moment that I present the white box of glory at my house. Don't get me wrong I don't picture my husband and a gollum with no hair that runs around with no clothes but you should get the jist of the scene. I typically purchase the raspberry jelly filled and sometimes the maple kind (insert internet dog here). The counter staff is very friendly and quick to fill the magical boxes. The quality is always good and fresh. I like the cups filled with doughnut holes as well. They are also one of the few places open at 10 PM on a Friday night when it is madly snowing. And for those that don't want to get out of their car to go inside they have a drive-thru. Although one of my favorite parts is going inside so that I can pursue the selection. read more

I live almost an hour away from this Krispy Kreme and my wife wanted to try the new lemon glazed donut before it leaves stores. I called at 7:45am asking if they had any. "Not now, but we'll have some at noon." I called at noon. "Not yet, but we'll have some at 1." I called at 1. "Well, they won't be done until 3." I called at 3. "We just put them on! They are literally mixing the glaze now. They will be ready at 4." So I show up at 4:15 and "they won't be ready for an hour." I should've known. As I called my wife to reveal the failed surprise and why I'm not home, I watched countless other frustrated customers be turned away. Please don't support such a poorly managed business. read more

So happy Krispy Kreme had returned to Springs until my first visit today. Sat in line at drive thru for 35 minutes. Placed order for 3 dozen. After I paid, the cashier shoved the large bag thru window and said "we are out of boxes so put them in bags". Got home and were short 7 donuts, of course. Most of the others were flat and or broken due to being shoved in bags. Think I will continue to drive to Lone Tree for next donut run. read more

In an attempt to keep my stir crazy family happy I tried to order online via KK site. The order was incorrect and missed a dozen donuts. This nightmare started when I tried calling the store to find out if the issue was they were out or what. Instead I was told they never deliver, but the person I was speaking with was fulfilling delivery orders, and that I was lying about not getting what was ordered. I was hung up on several times by someone who refused to provide their name and told me first they were the manager and then corrected themselves that they were only a supervisor. This was absolutely not how the situation should have been handled and if this was a member of their leadership team there is a overall culture issue at Krispy Kreme that needs to be fixed. I'm now sadly without breakfast for my entire family and I will never be ordering from Krispy Kreme again. read more

I love Krispy Kreme but this location has a closed dining and that is the best part of Krispy Kreme because you can make sure you get the hottest freshest donuts. The drive through serves you those cold ish or Luke warm donuts even when asking for hot fresh glazed. They need to get this fixed ASAP. read more

Not the most competent staff.... The guy in front of me wanted 1 1/2 dozen plain glazed donuts, and the last behind the counter could not figure out what that meant. She put 6 in a box, handed it to him, and tries to walk away as if she's done. He stops her and says to add another dozen to his order to complete it. She takes the 6 back, puts them in a larger box with 6 more, and then tries to walk away again. Noticeably irritated at this point, he asks for 6 more. She gives him a dirty look as if to say, "Why didn't you say so in the first place? Make up your mind." I had to wonder how my order was going to end up, as I wanted an assorted dozen... 4 chocolate glazed donuts, 4 chocolate glazed with sprinkles, 2 lemon filled, and 2 raspberry filled. By the time I had gotten to work with the assortment, I opened it to find that instead of the 4 chocolate glazed donuts, there were 6 regular glazed donuts. Somehow, I ended up with 2 extra donuts of the wrong type, but still paid for 12. While it was okay with the coworkers in the end, it still baffles me how a staff can butcher orders that much when it wasn't even busy (there were 3 customers in the store). read more

7 am and 7 pm= hot and fresh! As I understand it, they only have the "hot n fresh" sign on two times a day. So, plan ahead. I have only been inside once, so my son could watch the donuts, but the drive-thru is pretty quick at 7am the handful of times I've been there. The people working the drive-thru are always nice and generally downright cheerful. I usually am there to buy their daily double- 1 dozen original and 1 dozen assorted, to take to my daughter's daycare teachers or my son's before/after care staff. Crazy concept here, why would you go to a donut shop? To get donuts right? Well unfortunately you won't find many here. On our past 3-4 visits they've had a very limited supply and out last visit they only had a total of just 3 flavors and that's what prompted this review. Poor management! Every time I've visited I've been so disappointed. Today, I drove 20 minutes to this location (it's closest to me unfortunately) only to discover that they were out of "like 80% of the doughnuts" as I was told in the drive thru. It was only 8:10, they close at 10pm. Instead of receiving the dozen doughnuts, half glazed and half maple that I had hoped for, I instead received a dozen with 11 glazed and 1 maple...
