This incident occurred on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at around 9:30 AM. The snow storm was starting, and we stopped in to get some donuts and coffee. I didn't get her name, but the person who helped us was extremely rude. She asked, "What do you want?", and I pointed to a donut. When I didn't call it by the right name, she corrected me and said, "You're pointing at that donut, but you called it 'this'." I also ordered a coffee, which was lukewarm at best. Why do we as a society continue to settle for poor customer service? Why did I pay for a less than stellar meal and pay for the "worker's" salary? And I use the term "worker" lightly. What a disappointment, tried their drive through after waiting behind two cars for ten minutes I called the store to ask if their drive through was open. Of course they reply yes, I inquired why no orders where being taken and they informed me they where short handed. After driving all the way from Colorado Springs for hot donuts. We were disappearing to find that this store does not care nor live up to there advertised times of hot donuts. Which is 9pm. We arrives at 7pm and when we asked if we could get hot donuts they said they wouldn't make us any. At the same time an large youth group of 35 arrived and all wanted hot donuts-and also was denied in which they all left without buying anything. I've been here twice and each time I've had a somewhat negative experience when it came to the individuals serving the donuts. The first time was a late teen male who rushed me and as I was requesting what donuts I wanted, he stated "how many donuts can I get you." As I was already ordering. He was slightly ill mannered and didn't have the best customer service. As I was checking out, he had the audacity to shake the tip cup as I was paying. The second time, I had ordered some donuts and every time I would request a donut the individual serving me would grab from the wrong tray, so I would respond "oh no not that one, the one above/below" where she was grabbing. She had gotten an attitude saying well that's not what you ordered. Little to my knowledge, they didn't place any of the proper signs under the correct donuts and I politely stated that they needed to move the signs around because it was confusing to customers. She was rude. On a positive note, she did ask me if I had peanut allergies. The individual who cashed me out was extremely friendly and made up my experience slightly. On a positive note the place was immaculate and they serve you at a reasonable place. Customer service needs some improvement. The donuts that I bought were meh. Not too great. When this Krispy Kreme first opened (back in the early 2000's) it actually disrupted traffic on C-470, Quebec, and County Line. Cars would be backed up in the mornings just hoping for a chance to try the "new" do-nut chain that had finally made it to Colorado. I was working near Cherry Creek at the the time, and it was a badge of honor to be a co-worker who managed to score a box or two and bring them into the office. Finally, people were mildly jealous of folks who had to commute from Highlands Ranch. Flash forward to 2013, and this place is still exceedingly popular. Yes, there are many other do-nut choices than there were a decade ago, but for some people, this place is still the gold standard of fried dough and sugar. I must say, I am definitely a fan. Occasionally, the siren song of the "Hot Now!" sign will draw me in as I am driving by. I love that free, searing, fatty, airy, sweet bite that you get when you score a Hot Now sample do-nut (although you now need to request that "free" do-nut). And, although I usually go for raspberry filled, or maple (rather than original) I love that initial bite. While at KK, one is almost forced to purchase a dozen do-nuts, because 1) the until cost is significantly less when purchased in this quantity, and 2) if I took the time and effort to drive here, I deserve a dozen. read more

Stopped in for some fresh doughnuts 3/6/21 around 6:30 pm because the sign was flashing. The drive thru was backed up so we went inside. It was great to watch the fresh doughnuts traveling along while we waited in line. The service by the young man was courteous and responsive. We were impressed with his service and will be back. A few friends and I went to this location after work to enjoy some doughnuts after a hard day. It's only 10 when we show. They claim to have a 24 hour open drive through. They posted a sign that says "unfortunately we're out of doughnuts this evening." At first I'm sad, but then we pass the window and they're throwing away doughnuts. I told the manager that the women's restroom was out of toilet paper and that my girlfriend needed help right now. The manager said I need to be "f@cking respectful, and don't ever talk to someone like that." In front of my 7 year old daughter and 10 year old autistic son with service dog. Thy son then stated saying, "F@cking, f@cking, f@cking!" I said to the manager, "Did I cure at you, did I yell at you, did I talk to you negatively. I said my girlfriend has an emergency because your staff is not taking care of the store. I ask for toilet paper and you tell me, "I need to be "f'ing respectful?" The then he came back and said I need to be "f@cking respectful" again. He then brought the rolls of paper to me at the front counter and said,"here, we are under staffed." So I'm responsible for changing you toilet paper rolls because you are under staffed and I literally get cursed at when I ask the "manager" to supply toilet paper or hand soap in the women's bathroom. (I don't know if this manger had a hard day, I tried to defuse the problem, he cursed at me again. A, youu never curse at a customer and B, especially infont of their children and any special needs child who has a service dog.) Then when I reached for the paper, the staff grabbed it away from me. How am I supposed to leave when my girlfriend is literally trapped in the bathroom and they take the toilet paper back. Honestly the doughnuts are so good it's worth the sometimes subpar service, but don't go here expecting anything special service wise. I have no problem wearing a mask if I'm asked to, but when the girl who asks me to wear it is wearing hers below her nose () it is honestly laughable. My boyfriend pointed out that she should wear it correctly and she immediately got sassy and told us she couldn't breathe with it over her nose, also laughable, and as we were walking out of the door she yelled after us saying "you wanna talk to my manager?" Great donuts. Either this location is still new or people in the suburbs of Denver really love their donuts. I arrived at about 7:30 PM on a weekday to wait in a line of about 20 to 25 cars. No worries. The line actually went pretty fast. I ordered three regular and three chocolate glazed donuts. I tried to order a Coke Zero fountain drink but was told that all they had was Coke or Diet Coke in bottles. Having had fountain drinks in other locations I was a little disappointed. When I received my donuts I received four chocolate and two regular. I thought for sure the workers just threw donuts into a box. Nope. Receipt said I ordered four chocolate donuts. I completed an online order for pickup. Online when you do so it says to go inside to pickup unless the location has a drive thru. It also said to look on the door of location for further instructions. I arrived and didn't see anyone going inside, just people in drive thru. Their door has a sign that says drive thru open. No other instructions. So I got in line. Upon arriving at the order screen I explained why I was there and they said I had to come inside. At 11:45a on 3/29/20 I went inside and got my order. I explained all this to the 30 something AA woman working the front register. She said "yeah we prefer you to come inside" to which I stated they needed to put a sign on the door so customers know. Overall it was very good. Glazed was as always delicious, even when the hot light is off. Brownie batter had a little too much filling. Most of the filling was on the right side, nothing on the left. It was okay other than that. Maple frosted, well tasted like maple, other than there was some underlying glaze. Made it almost too sweet. Today I went to the Thornton location- but they don't have a Yelp for that location. There was a line and it took over 10min for the MORON teenager to take my order after interrupting me several times to say "we're out of that." This moron had such poor customer service and communication abilities that he was literally glitching out on the intercom- I asked him to repeat himself 3x bc I couldn't hear him. Then some teenage girl got on the intercom and said in a rude demanding voice "Sir you need to stop being rude!" He got my assorted donut order wrong. You know if I acted that way at my job- I'd be unemployable! I am a registered nurse. It's tough times around for everyone and I love the krispy kreme is offering to give free donuts out every monday to all HEALTHCARE workers who can show their badge! I work at a rehab center. I was told by the manager that this promo is only for hospital staff only. That probably is the most absurd thing I have ever heard. I came to pick up my order for a dozen donuts. There was a group of 4 employees right behind the cash register making hot chocolates for themselves and drinking it. They saw me then turned back around. I stood there for about 5 minutes before the girl came up to me and ask what I needed. They don't need more employees working at this location. The glazed donuts are delicious but the Bavarian cream donuts hard barley any cream in them. The inside was packed almost out the door but it looked like none of the workers were really trying to get the line down. There were donuts on the hot rack but no hot line was on. I'm posting this review for whomever owns this franchise. I've visited Krispy Kreme locations in several cities, and recently (February 11, about 2:00 pm) visited this one while visiting family in the area. We went first on Saturday night, around 7:30 PM. There were five or six doughnut types left, which seemed unusual for a busy period, based on other franchises. We went back on the 11th, wanting to try some of the highly advertised valentines doughnuts. The visible doughnut frying machine was making heart-shaped doughnuts at the time, but that batch was unattended and ended up crushed and wasted toward the.end of the lone. We alerted the sales person about this before all of them were crushed, bit he said not to worry about it. Not his problem. We wanted to try one each in an assorted dozen of the Valentines doughnuts available. There were plenty of two colors, and one of a third color stashed on a tray behind the counter, but visible by looking from the side We asked for the last of the third color, and the salesperson said it was the last one, and he was planning on taking it. We didn't argue with his claim of free merchandise If you own this store, please note that no one there seems to care about customer service or avoiding unnecessary waste.
