Went to this Krispy Kreme today to see if they were doing a World Kindness Day promotion. I was told no. I was second in the drive thru by the way. This location by Google and here state it is supposed to be open at 6 a.m. and orders were not taken until 6:05 a.m. It is not a big deal if this franchise does not participate in certain promotions; however, there needs to be signage specifying that. I would write about 5 people in the drive thru and about 10+ people doing pick up orders inside. So if I was lied to, then we may not see other reviews; however, if they are just not doing it, then there are going to be a ton of angry people. We noticed the light was on around 7:25 pm. We were in the Kroger parking lot 0.5 miles away. We arrived by 7:30 pm. The light was now off. We ordered 2 dozen and were told they were the "freshest" they had. Open the box taste one.......ICE COLD. I return to the store just to be told they "forgot" to turn the light off when they were done making donuts. These donuts were ice cold, stale and definitely not fresh. I haven't been to a Krispy Kreme in years. And guess what? I didn't miss a thing. For some reason, I remember their donuts tasting amazing. They were fresh and soft but the sweetness was over the top. The lady that was helping us was so nice! She even gave us some free hot donuts. We selected 6 to take home, the kids were disappointed they were out of the st Patrick day donuts already. We ate another donut in the sit down area. We also watched the machine make some donuts which is really neat. The dining area was looking pretty dirty. The door was hanging off the trash can area. I never had Krispy Kreme fresh . . . Wow. Light and airy, delicate dough with exactly the right amount of sweetness. When hot, they melt in your mouth. Just after that, they are just the most perfectly made and balanced yeast donut. I used to avoid Krispy Kreme as they look like machine-made grocery store donuts . . . Me and my family came for donuts around 5:30, had to wait 20 minutes to even get to the speaker and then the guy inside ignore us for another ten minutes. We pulled up to the window and saw only one guy working. I've had Krispy Kreme donuts countless times. Finally, I went inside. I was literally like a kid in a candy store. The donut line is so neat to watch, and everyone was nice and not phased by my tourist-like photography and videography shoot. It was so cool to see them go from dough, to glazed, all right before my eyes. I had the cream filled glazed donut. It was soooo good! Their cream is not thick and stale, like some of the packaged cream filled donuts are. It's an experience of it's own to try such fresh donuts. You can literally get one as soon as it comes off of the donut line. Hence the neon sign that says "hot donuts now". Right now, they have a Butterfinger selection that looked amazing, but I'm more of a simple glazed, cake, or basic cream filled, donut gal. read more

Probably one of the worst KK I've ever been to. No hot donuts due to "conveyor being broken" is what I was told. Poor girl inside is working the drive thru and inside all by herself. Meanwhile, one guy is outside talking to someone. Another guy inside sitting in the lobby doing absolutely nothing. Drink display completely empty with the exception of 2 Coke's and 2 Diet Coke's. No milk, no juice, no nothing. On top of that they've got two tables with cheesecakes on them that are obviously from elsewhere and dining room is a mess. I'm not sure what was wrong with the dude that worked last night but it's the same dude that's been working at this same Krispy Kreme for like 2 years so I guess I get why he's dislikes his life but to take it out on customers is just weird. We pull up at 8pm, he says "What can I do for you" to which I reply "Just a second please" 15 seconds pass "I said, what can I do for you?" again I say "Just one second, we're deciding" to which he takes a big sigh into the mic and legitimately starts sarcastically whistling as if we were taking too long. His attitude continues when I get to the window as he didn't get my order correct despite making me repeat "3 Glazed, 1 Choc, 1 Strawberry, 1 Raspberry" three separate times, and he says "3 chocolate right?" to which I say "No, it was...." and he shuts the window in my face, throws the chocolate donuts in some hole on the counter and storms off to get the proper order. LOVE Krispy Kreme! Watching the donuts being made is fun for all ages, and trying samples never gets old. When the "HOT" light comes on, everybody comes running! I especially like to visit when they email good coupons. The rewards app is also a plus. The only problem I've had is a worker who could not speak English. Ordering and checkout was a nightmare that day. I could not make her understand that my rewards app was not scanning and needed to be entered manually. They other two employees were too busy to look up from what they were doing, so I got frustrated and paid, then had to call customer service to get credit for my order. I've visited once since then with no problems whatsoever. It's normally a great experience overall, so I didn't dock the rating for one bad day. read more

For plain only and at 6 I should have close to the full menu for walk ins. 630 for full menu for drive through. I had heard this location was 24/7. I get the labor shortage. My family loves Krispy Kreme donuts but good luck getting any at this location. We stopped after a family birthday dinner planning to have coffee and donuts for dessert. It was close to 8:30 and since the website said they were open until 10pm we thought we would have plenty of time. Chairs were on the tables and the donut case was nearly empty. We asked if they were closed and one of several employees walking around said they close at 9:00. We were going to order from what selection they had and take it to go but no one even offered to take our order. We left and went to Frisch's for hot fudge cake instead, all 10 of us. Used to come here a lot and I used to love it! However these past few times I've been here, it absolutely sucks. This time, we waited 30 minutes just to get 6 doughnuts and it was not worth it because they were out of almost everything! I never visit chains that often, but I had seen that they had a Reeses Peanut Butter donut available, so I wanted to give Krispie Kreme a shot since I hadn't had them in the longest time. One of the things I noticed off the bat was that for six donuts, I was paying more than I was at a couple of the local bakeries I had been to, so I did feel a bit of commercialism, but that's what you get with a chain. The bad: I had a maple frosted donut that didn't have a good taste of maple to it, so much so that I stopped eating after one bite. The chocolate cake, which I had loved originally, didn't taste very chocolatey and wasn't soft. The regular cream filled donut wasn't properly filled that when I cut it in half, most of the cream was on one side (and barely filled) while the other side had none. The cream tasted like cool whip, which I still doesn't feel goes into a donut, so I was meh on it. The good: A regular Krispy Kreme glazed is always a safe bet when you get here. I was disappointed that they had freshly made glazed, however, when I asked for one, they got me a regular shelf donut, but it was still good. The blueberry cake was nice and dense and soft and had a decent blueberry flavor to it. The Reeses peanut butter donut was good all over, with a properly filled peanut inside and a good chocolate topping with peanuts and a peanut butter drizzle. I would love to get this donut again. Overall, it's ok. Stick with getting regular glazed if you get Krispy Kreme, which is what they specialize in anyway. read more

Went to the drive-through here at midnight (drive-through is 24 hours even though the store is not). Ordered a customized dozen of donuts. They were out of the raspberry-filled and the Oreo-glazed, so we ordered originals, chocolate-glazed with vanilla cream center, and chocolate cake. Because they were out of 2 of the types of donuts we wanted, they gave us some extras of the originals! Put those originals in the microwave for 8 seconds and they are HEAVEN. I was expecting a donut like I would buy from the grocery store, but it was so much better. Will definitely be returning. read more
