Another Great Visit to Jeff's Donuts Stopped by Jeff's Donuts again the other day and tried a few more items -- and once again, they were fantastic. The service was quick, and the shop was clean and well kept, which always makes the experience better. I ordered a honey bun, and I have to say, the honey glaze is absolutely amazing. It's probably my favorite thing there so far. I'd much rather grab one from Jeff's than buy a honey bun from a gas station any day. I also tried the raspberry jelly-filled donut dipped in chocolate. The flavor was great, though the jelly wasn't evenly distributed -- one side was lighter while the other was packed. Still really good overall. I also had the Tiger Tail, which was amazing and something I'll definitely be ordering again in the future. Overall, Jeff's Donuts continues to impress. Quick service, great donuts, and a clean shop -- I'll definitely be back and highly recommend this place! read more

I got 4 donuts. After talking to the person that works there, I got the following 4 types of donuts. 1. Regular chocolate glazed donut with peanut butter 2. Blueberry donut 3. Caramel covered donut. 4. Fruity pebbles covered donut. Blueberry flavored donut was my favorite. Followed by Regular chocolate glazed donut with peanut butter. There is peanut butter in it, so it should be somewhat healthier, right? Next favorite is the Caramel one. Fruity pebbles one is my least favorite. I stopped by Friday morning and got the fruity pebble donut for my friend and the chocolate frosted donut with cream cheese. Sadly I didn't take pictures well because we scarfed them down. Anyway there was a line but it moved quickly. The woman at the register was very friendly. There is no seating simply because the store isn't big enough. The display cases are large and behind the counter there's more donuts. I haven't had a bad experience or donut . Next time I'll try to take pictures before I gobble it . read more

It is absolutely incredible to have a 24 hr donut spot, just right off the bat that is an incredible thing to have. The donuts are pretty good, a tad heavy in my opinion but still quite tasty and very large, making them worth the price. The staff were friendly, and service was prom[t. Nice staff but very mediocre donuts that were way overpriced. To be fair, I was there mid-morning but Lexington has more than a few great donut places and nearby Versailles has gas station donuts that put Jeff's Long John's to shame. '$15 for 3 fried pieces of dough (with half as much cream as they should have had) and a bottle of cold coffee is way too much. That would have been a dozen Krispy Kreme or Frank's and both are better in my opinion. The staff person was nice, sweet kid who was very focused. I appreciated his kindness. The shop was completely empty at 10 in the morning. And, it sits next door to a First Watch which was breaming with business. Maybe location makes a difference; Jeff's in Louisville was way better. read more

It reallllllllly doesn't help that this shop is a stone's throw away from my office :( I've been to this place about 6-7 times now... it's literally the only donut shop open 24/7 here in Lexington. And they have the softest, melt-in-your-mouth donuts. Very friendly staff and a clean outlet. My only disappointment, if I may call it that, is that their donuts don't look pretty enough. They look huge (because they are!) but they lack aesthetic finesse. If they could overcome that.. because u eat with your eyes first ... they'd be THE best donut shop in Lexington. read more

We love Jeff's donuts. The donuts are huge and tasty. The people behind the counter are always so nice and patient especially with those who don't know what they want. They're also great at giving recommendations if you are torn between flavors. It is a very small location so there's no seating indoors. If the weather is nice, they do have a few seats outside on the patio. read more

We just learned about the Jeff's donuts . They just opened January 27th and we got 8 donuts. We got the Oreo long John, glazed chocolate with custard inside, the one that looks like an egg. Lemon with custard inside and an apple fritter which was really good with chopped apples. We had a sweet roll and other assorted ones. Fantastic donuts!! My fiancé and I stopped by this morning and grabbed a few donuts to enjoy! The service was fast and friendly, and they have so many amazing donuts to choose from! The set up is nice so you can order your donuts and go on your way. They have a simple aesthetic but very welcoming! The donuts are HUGE so make sure you have buddies to share them with (it's fun to grab a bunch and try a bit of each!). The four flavors we tried were excellent and you can tell a donut shop is worth its weight if they have a great glazed donut (which they do!). Got 6 donuts: basic glazed, chocolate cake, sprinkles, twist, caramel long John, maple long John. The donuts extremely fresh. The glazed was light and fluffy. The chocolate cake was moist and not dense at all. The twist had chocolate and was pretty good. The chocolate taste wasn't overpowering at all. I'm sorry, but $2.50 for a don't and $30.00 for a dozen is just too crazy priced expensive. I can drive the 250 miles round trip and get 4 dozen donuts that are amazingly delicious for the price of 2 dozen here. And that includes the cost of fuel for the trip to WV. Husband picked up an assorted dozen of donuts from here. I was excited to try a new donut place, but was disappointed by the product. The regular glazed donut was really good, but everything else was a little dry and nothing special. I had an awful expirence here, the girl working ( brown hair, wearing Glasses,bad attitude) was outside smoking scrolling on her phone, as I walk in she comes in behind me doesnt wash her hands, is extremely rude as I somehow ruined her whole day because she had a customer! I will never come back unless they get rid of her. Ive never seen such a lack of customer service, and poor hygiene, on top of everything else she coughed right on my doughnuts as she was boxing them!! Best donuts I've had in Lexington all that I tried was delicious. The cashier was nice and patient it was our first time ordering. Classic donut shop layout had a ton of options. Tried this place out since it's new and wanted to show some support. Being open 24/7 is definitely a plus, especially for late-night cravings. The donuts were pretty good, but nothing that would make me go out of my way to get them.
