This Krispy Kreme use to be very good but the past two time I went here the doughnuts were heading toward stale and now they have these mini doughnuts that are mixed in with the regular size doughnuts and they apparently cannot be mixed from what they tell me. We ordered for delivery, it took over 2 hours and they forgot a box but charged me for it. It's not the first time. I called the phone number and could finally got a hold of the store. As soon as I told him I was missing a box of donuts he immediately became rude. He told me it was not his problem and it was the delivery service. I told him no I ordered through the site he continued to be rude and yell at me when I spoke back he threatened to hang up on me. As I was spelling my name he began to yell at me again and finally my husband took the phone and told him his behavior was totally wrong. He proceeded to yell at my husband and hang up on him. I can't believe the store is open and operating like there is no virus. I preordered assuming it would be required as there is no drive through at this location. I walked into the store and there was a minimum of 15-20 people in line with zero social distancing. I seriously contemplated leaving immediately but had already paid. I stayed at the front of the store and waited for the line to reduce. Got to counter asked for my order and it wasn't even ready and some of my selections were no longer available. The girl handed me my order and didn't even realize she was missing a dozen donuts from the order. Stay away right now I love the donuts but we should all be safe right now. I've been hooked on Krispy Kreme ever since I had it for the first time with my brother in Jersey years ago. Fortunately there is the location in Havertown which is close enough when I need to get my fix. I'm surprised with the many bad reviews i've seen for this location as I always have decent service when I'm in there. One thing I don't like is that you're Not able to utilize any of the special offers when ordering ahead on the App for pickup. This is kinda ridiculous as they send you the specials via email and then when you access to order ahead via the App you can't access them and instead have to go in store and then order and then have them scan the code. Anyhow the donuts are way better than Dunkin and there aren't many other one-off/mom and pop donut shops around anymore in the area. I will give a shout out to another great donut joint in Yum Yum, but just too far away in Warminster for just a donut run. My favorites at Krispy are the filled, Raspberry, Lemon, and Custard, way better than Dunkin!! Like most other donut/baked goods shops just time your visit earlier or by the afternoon and you can likely ensure getting fresh hot donuts which are always the best!! Enjoy. read more

Sooooo. We went kind of late and almost all of the specialty doughnuts were gone. There are always plenty of original ones though which are the best anyway! They recently had a coupon for two dozen donuts that we used and when we paid for our delicious crack-like treats, they gave us more coupons. They're so nice here, I wish there was a location closer to me. Their doughnuts though? Best doughnuts in the world. The OG glazed def weren't as fresh as I remember them to be. I did arrive around 6:30 so that could be the reason - staff was nice, the donut grabber tried to sell me a coffee which I agreed to, but unfortunately their machine was broken and they couldn't make any signature brews like Iced Mochas so I then had to pass. I have had KK donuts at Penn station in NYC and they are always fresh and delicious. The ones in Manoa Shoppong Center store leave much to be desired. I bought a dozen and noticed that the employee was not taking the donuts from the case in front of me, but others from somewhere under the case. I thought that was odd. After I got home and tried them, they tasted 2 days old. Dry and stiff on top, only ok inside. Basically stale. Now I read on Yelp that these donuts are cooked off-site and reheated at the Monoa location ! If this is true, no wonder they were subpar. Krispy Kremes' vanilla glazed doughnuts have been my husband's favorite doughnuts for a long time. He has loved them for over 20 years since he was a producer at Channel 12 and another employee used to bring them in every day. Now he especially likes them since he is on a low sodium diet and these are lower in sodium than the main competitor's doughnut. However, he is very disappointed that the Havertown Manoa Shopping Center Krispy Kreme no longer sells the vanilla glazed doughnut, though they are still on the Krispy Kremes website. There is a similar doughnut with a hole, but my husband does not like them very well. He is no longer as excited when I suggest getting Krispy Kremes now.
