Great location and cookies are amazing. Love that they offer various sizes and flavors

Cookies are one of my favorite baked goods. I love cookies so much that I have a problem when it comes to eating cookies: I cannot stop and have a serious cookie volume problem. That's why I was extremely disappointed the two times I have tried Crumbl cookie and both were from different locations. The most recent was the one closest to my home, from the spot in Broomall. My older daughter LOVES their cookies. She sucks with food and generally doesn't know what's she's talking about when it comes to deliciousness. However, she brought a box home and insisted that in try their cookies again, and after some cajoling, she was able to annoy me into giving them another shot. Once again, I was unhappy I decided to try them. I have come to only one conclusion after repeated attempts to enjoy their stuff...that Crumbl cookies simply aren't good. They're just not good. Yes, cookies alone, even just the concept makes them good and that's why there is some inherent value to their product. But these cookies are just dismal. There is nothing unique to them at all. They do offer some differing selection, but ninety percent of their "varieties" are simply sugar cookies with different icings or toppings piled on top. That is a flat cake with no rising agent and different sugar contents. They are also never hitting the sweet spot of texture in my opinion either; too dry and crumbly, or almost like uncooked dough inside was my experience on both occasions. If that's your thing, then you will probably love this, and that's great! Go support them. However, as a cookie lover, I cannot in good conscience, justify spending the insane amount they are asking for non-cookies that are just flavored icings on top of a sweet baked puck that lacks heart and soul, an essential part of what you can taste when you have a cookie that has had real love and effort put into it. You can tell that Crumbl at one point had a vision that was wonderful. What it seems like is that it became a trendy place that then gained popularity due to its difference and its dedication to making everything hyper-sweet instead of truly savory and delicious, very much catering to the very young. There is nothing wrong with that, but I guarantee you somewhere along the way, the true bakers behind this brand lost their way, sold out to the hype, and it is now a apple-store clone sellout slinging crappy cookies that just aren't really "cookies". Unfortunately, I cannot recommend them for the desserts they offer, although their staff is very nice and excited about their products in my experience and their stores are very clean. Almost too clean, like pharmaceutical manufacturing bright white antibacterial clean blank spaces which is very off-putting. Instead I would say make some cookies on your own and learn the beauties of making some of the best cookies you've ever had, or checking out some of the other parties in this same space. However, if you LOVE icing and gigantic monstrosities that are priced more like a full meal for a night out at restaurant, and really want that whole experience, this may be the place for you. As always, I am open to having my mind changed, but this has violated a core value I have with my beloved cookie, and after two tries, I still don't like the cookies or their model. Convince me otherwise! I would really like to enjoy them like everyone else seems to. read more

We finally snagged the famous cookie cutter that gets sold out!! I would say the taste of insomnia cookies is better but the aesthetics of their proposed cookies is what gets our foot in the door. Semi sweet chocolate is still my all time favorite although the pumpkin is a surprising second for me. We were a bit disappointed in the presentation of the sugar cookie with its glaze. read more

Delicious and fresh cookies and good variety. Quick and friendly staff. A bit sweet and quite expensive for 4 cookies. Definitely not a place to look for something healthy. Pick up and go and nowhere to really sit. Surprised about the other review where they wouldn't give an extra box. At least charge for an extra box if you don't want to give one out without having to order an additional cookie. read more

I was at this location awhile back - I thought I had posted this, guess I forgot. I have to say I won't be back to this store. I've never really had a craving for their cookies, but my friend was going so I went with her. We planned to split the order, dropping close to $60. We couldn't find anyone to ask about splitting it before they packed it. When it was ready, the girl that packed our box called our order as she literally dropped the box on the counter and walked away. Not even a thank you, go to hell, nothing. Because we were splitting the order I tried to flag her down to ask for a second box or bag or something. She cut me off before I finished, sucks her teeth and said "We don't give out extra boxes. If you want another box you need to buy more cookies," and walks away again. When she came back I asked if she had a bag, or something and even said I'd pay for an extra box. She comes back even more snarky "Like I said... we don't give out extra boxes!" So, yeah, that's a one and done. read more

I love Crumbl. But, this location is not the best. I feel bad saying that because the employees are nice. But, the cookie quality is substandard compared to other locations. I usually only come here if they are offering a mystery cookie I am interested in. I've given them multiple chances and each time I've came here there's usually been something I'm not happy about with one of my cookies. Which is kinda unacceptable for the high price of the cookies here. I will show some examples. Crumbl is still good but I recommend the Wynnewood location over this one. read more

Quick and fast! Also, not their fault, but a happy surprise. I ordered the M&M cookie and they subbed it out for a regular chocolate chip cookie. The only reason I say happy surprise, it's because I didn't realize it was M&M peanut and I'm actually allergic. So it all worked out! read more

We order from Crumbl (this location) once a week and will not return after this experience and a prior one(a few weeks ago, which we gave them the benefit of the doubt). Your staff is rude, cookies are not ready, toppings for cookies are not available very disappointing. And to the miserable women behind the counter who says I don't know why people pay money for these cookies they are just cookies. If I want to spend my money on cookies it's none of your business but if I spending my money on them they should be done correctly. As for tonight we order thru the app and do pick up which from a few weeks ago and tonight def proves to be pointless, because they do not do anything g until you get there and when you hit arrive they still serve everyone before you. Well that happen tonight and by the time (10 min) when they started packing my cookies they needed to cook more which would be another 10-15 minutes. And than once I have already waited they decide to tell me they do not have the butter for the corn bread cookie(which is what makes that cookie good) so when she handed it to me like that which is false advertisement.
