Came here Monday morning and the woman in the drive through had an exceptionally hard time with our simple order of two coffees and six donuts. We repeated our order for the fifth time at the window and the woman at the window had to correct it for whoever took our order. She gave us most of our order promptly but we had to wait several minutes for the last donut-chocolate frosted cake. She finally hands it to us in a box COVERED in chocolate frosting on both the outside and inside the box. It got all over my car and lap from holding the box. There was enough frosting for four donuts and it looked like it was just thrown on there with a ladle. The donut was falling apart and tasted like it was a week old. I'm not sure what happened. We threw it out because it was inedible. We also didn't get any straws for our iced coffee. read more

Very yummy and of course fresh. Staff is very friendly.. they seem like they got a good flow to get to everyone in a timely manner since this place is super new. Love seeing the donut process! Tried a lemonade chiller and it was very tasty especially on this warm day. The red light is on!! Hurry up! 6/20/17- I have to update my review and inform patrons of my encounter with the manager. Just another busy day at KK my intentions were to order a dozen donuts, 6 glazes and mix the other 6. I went ahead and ordered my 6 glazed and had to wait to see the case of donuts to see what else I wanted. The manager took my order initially and a young man was helping me the rest, as I'm clearly ordering the manager is yelling out are these your donuts come on, speaking to me as if I am stupid. Completely unacceptable, unprofessional and a very poor representation of a manager. I truly hope she does not treat all customers that way nor her employees. read more

Although their donuts are delicious, the employees are rude. They act like your interrupting them and they're doing you a favor.

Never thought I'd say this, but KK glazed doughnuts are the bomb! When you order the original glazed ones they come fresh and warm off the assembly line and are light, doughy, a bit chewy and not too sweet - the perfect combination. The other doughnuts aren't as good and I don't bother getting anything else. One major negative is that they waste so much food! I was just watching an employee throws dozens and dozens ofdonuts into the trash! I'm not sure what kind of business model that is but it's extremely wasteful and off putting so docking a star. The coffee is decent and not bitter, the latte was mostly milk but this isn't a coffee shop. read more

This is was my first time ever coming to a Krispy Kreme and they were sooo good in ever aspect. Even with the line they were super fast. Everyone was super friendly, and of course the donuts were perfect. I would highly recommend checking them out. read more

Excellent service for this being fairly new and busy. Love the hot and fresh donuts! First time trying, and it was great. The drive thru was very accommodating-on our second visit- they ran out of milk so replaced it with orange juice plus an additional juice for free. During that time we waited approximately five minutes, which was fine with us! But the sweet girl working the drive thru insisted that we take a box of donut holes for the wait and the messed up order. She was so kind and it was appreciated. read more

What a terrible Krispy Kreme. Please don't waist your time. We tried a second visit after a terrible first one and just walked out. We had a coupon for any dozen plus a $1 glazed Halloween box. When we tried to pick some Halloween donuts, the lady serving us got an attitude and said we could only get a few Halloween donuts for the deal. After we had four, she said it was too many and some would have to be removed for the deal. The coupon clearly shows and states any dozen. We just walked out. Never again will I go back there. Gaithersburg service was excellent but Frederick needs to shut down. read more

My mom was stuck with a tough night shift. She was sick and felt terrible. Unbeknownst to her, Krispy Kreme was on the way. Thanks to the great crew at this Fredericksburg establishment. We were able to conspire to surprise my Mom's crew with tasty doughnuts and hot coffee when morale was low. I'm 100 miles away but this team executed flawlessly. I did give a 5 star review of The Krispy Kreme on Buckestown pike, but I am a HONEST YELP REVIEWER, and I feel the company NEEDS TO EARN THIS RATING!! I went in to the same store again on 7/24/22 at around 830 pm, and I saw the conveyer full of yummy glazed donuts that smelled great!! There was only one problem. I saw at the end the conveyer belt a Large Trash can which all of these donuts were falling into!!! I immediately told the supervisor on duty Hey somebody must catch these donuts from falling into the trash and to my surprise he said. "We can not catch all the donuts so we throw them out!!!" WOW!!! I thought as I just paid 9 dollars for 4 Cinnamon buns! They could not turn the machine off to at least save money!! Worse yet I was just at The Frederick Rescue mission where people were waiting for hours in line for food to eat and they have the GULL to throw food into the trash can!!! NO TIP FOR YOU EVER AGAIN !!! I will spend my hard earned money on people who do not WASTE FOOD while people are starving!! Thank you for showing me how I waste my money. This is the first Krispy Kreme in the area. I've been to a few in Baltimore and D.C. They never disappoint. Hot, fresh donuts and friendly staff. I love the fact that they actually MAKE the donuts...unlike DD that thaws them out and serves them. They are pricier than their competition, but fresh donuts...you expect to pay a bit more. read more

My experience wasn't so great, but I went to Wal-Mart not knowing of the krispy kreme store. My boyfriend went for me, on a last Friday, the one before Christmas. Took two hours, and they were dry, and the glaze was falling off. They looked old, and we had to heat them, to eat them. I was just out of the hospital, brain abscess, but growing up in the south, I still knew I wanted a krispy creme donut, what a disappointment. read more

I'm not a huge donut fan but every now and then I'm tasked with bringing a couple of dozen to the office. Dunkin Donuts is within walking distance of my house so I usually swing through the drive thru on my way to work however lately their selection has become a little spotty so I decided to look for another joint. Krispy Kreme has been around for years however they're not quite as ubiquitous so they're sort of a rare treat. Imagine my delight when I discovered one had opened in Frederick. They're kind of tucked away in this gigantic shopping center so it took me a while to find them (you know it's new when you call the 1-800 number and they tell you that there's no Krispy Kreme in Frederick, MD). I bought a couple of dozen for my coworkers and they disappeared within minutes. I managed to snag a glazed and it was just a good as I remembered. Be warned though: the place is always packed so there will be a good long wait. I work third shift so I stopped by at 8:30 pm on a week night and there was still a crowd. read more

This is one of the worst experiences I had. First of all, when I went to place my order at the window everything ran decent as far as I know, until this female manager came and started yelling at us, incredibly rude. (We used 2 coupons for $13 for any 2 dozens) She claimed that you can only use one coupon per visit per CAR, nowhere in the coupon did it say per car. The coupon says, and I quote, "per person per visit". There was 2 people in the car each doing their own order for 2 dozen. She made me feel as if she can alter the rules as she liked, and as if she owned the store. Not only did she yell at us but when we were talking to her she slammed the drive thru window IN OUR FACE and rolled her eyes as she walked away making it purposely visable to see. She didn't even give us the chance to get our receipts, so we had to drive around to the front door and wait an additional HALF HOUR for them to get our reciept. Not only that, but she kicked me out of the store to wait in the cold and let others who came after me recieve service before me. Even while waiting she found a way to keep arguing with me about the coupons which was very unnecessary. She has a very bad attitude in which any manager or any customer service over all shouldn't have. Each word she said made me sure even more that I won't be returning to Krispy Kreme, I was a loyal customer who visited frequently to get some donuts for me and my neighbors, although I have several Dunkin Donut stores a lot closer to me than Krispy Kreme which is a decent drive away from me. I wish this was the end of the issues BUT IT ISN'T, when I came home I see they messed up my order although on the receipt it was correct. I ordered 6 strawberry iced with sprinkles and 3 original glazed and 3 chocolate iced with sprinkles in one of my 4 dozens, but they gave me 6 original glazed, 3 chocolate iced with sprinkles and 3 strawberry iced with sprinkles and the donuts were so poorly orgainzed in the boxes. read more

Very tasty donuts much more fresh than Dunkin' Donuts. Just wish they had all of the flavor Krispy Kreme usually offers. I asked for the maple donut and was told "we probably will never have that flavor." What happened to Maple? My daughters and I stopped in today for the first time. Doughnuts are good but sadly I was disappointed in the customer service. The gal that helped us (her name tag said Laura) was not very welcoming and not friendly at all. She seemed as though she did not want to be there and seemed to be in a very bad mood. 8/9/2017 we visited the krispy kreme drive thru and had the privilege of working with cameryn. WHAT A POLITE AND WELCOMING YOUNG LADY. You could tell she was speaking with a smile on her face (enjoying her job) without actually seeing her expressions. Her customer service skills are 10/10. Please give her a raise if you can!
