I had the caramel crunch (they didn't have the key lime pie ) and it was delicious. The caramel I thought goes really well with the rich ice cream; it makes for a very decadent treat. The crunchy pieces adds a nice contrast to the super creamy ice cream. Overall it was amazing; it's everything I like in ice cream; something super rice and creamy, and flavors which come from real ingredients instead of extracts or flavorings.

Both were flavorful and hit the spot on a warm day. My only disappointment was that they didn't have a traditional cookies and cream flavor. The only option was a coffee Oreo version, which wasn't for me. Other than that, they had a nice variety of classic flavors, several cone options, and basic toppings. Overall, a great little local ice cream shop with friendly service and generous scoops. We'd definitely stop by again.

So when shopping at YES organic Hyattsville today, I was prepared to pass by the tres leches cake sample. But it looked so moist, I gave in. OMG, I am so glad that I did. Best! Cake! Ever! It is very moist & creamy. Best of all, it is not overly sweet, as many tres leches cakes can be. Put simply: perfectly balanced!! I ended up buying one, but I will head back to get a few more for tomorrow! :)
