The service was prompt but unfriendly. They made my egg and cheese on croissant without roasting it. Cold croissant, cold and unmelted cheese, and warm egg. I asked them about it at pickup and the woman rudely said that I have to ask for it to be warmed up. I've never had to in the past. I just expected a hot sandwich to be hot. She did heat it up and it tasted good but then later she looked at me, giggled, and said "puta," very audibly, which I understand is a slur in Spanish. I won't be back. read more

I saw many bad reviews for this place. It was fine for me. I don't think I'd avoid it. The young adult (probably not even an adult, yet). was professional and nice. I ordered a peppermint hot cocoa for my daughter. He said it was no longer being offered, but he said he could use some peppermint syrup, if I'd like. That was perfectly fine. My daughter seemed to be fine with the flavor, too. I ordered a coffee. It tasted fine. I also ordered a sprinkled donut. I honestly don't recall if I was specific enough, but the donut I got was not the pink donut with sprinkles. So, I apologized and said I actually want the other sprinkled donut. I visited this place around lunchtime and ordered two Wake Up Wraps and an iced coffee. When I reached the window, I had to ask for the total because the employee didn't inform me. After I drove off, I noticed there were no napkins, and my drink wasn't mixed well; all I could taste was sugar granules. As for the wraps, I was completely disgusted to find hair in them. This ruined my appetite entirely. I went back inside to speak with a manager, who apologized and provided a full refund. However, this experience was unacceptable and unsanitary. I come to the Dunkin Donuts in the Westview Plaza almost everyday and every time I got through the drive thru the staff is always so moody. I've had employees roll their eyes because they forgot to hand me straws and I've had employees huff and puff when forgetting an item and I ask them nicely for it. Other than that, they get the food out quickly and its not all the employees who act this way. read more

For some reason, the application does not work here so you would have to come here just to place an order. The drive through is a bit narrow so if you have a wide and large vehicle, that might be a bit tight. I do like how the location is a bit isolated. There are apartments and establishments nearby, but it just felt peaceful. That or I am just way too entrenched in the busy life of the near DMV. The Dunkin here isn't too bad. I did not get food poisoning, which is always a good thing to look out for. They got the order ready quickly even though there were a bunch of people there at the same time. I did feel like I was taken care of efficiently and regularly. The drink was made well. I don't have any complaints there. The real downside is just the application. I wished I could have placed an order ahead of time and just scan instead of telling each part of my order in the drive through. I tried a couple months back and the application still do not work at this location. I am guessing they either didn't implement it yet or will not be implementing it. I dont know. I always order the tomato and pesto grilled cheese with a donut. The food is fine. I was disappointed with my visit today, the location was not busy the time I arrived and it was filthy. Food particles on floor, stains on tables, and even a grubby fingerprint on the checkout touch pad. The gentleman who checked me out looked like he was more interested to his coworkers who were all talking loudly and I struggled to place my order over their voices. I wish I could give this location zero stars. I work right down the street from this DD but refuse to go there ever again after my incident some months back. Their customer service is disgusting. I ordered a latte, but forgot to order it without actual milk (I cannot have dairy). Had to let them know once I got up to the window that I made a mistake, and believe me I felt bad and was apologetic. I was not expecting their reaction. The woman serving me stepped back, rolled her eyes, said "Oh my god" and then turned around to her superior to tell her how I messed up. Her superior then comes to the window telling me with an attitude that "You're gonna have to park in the back because we'll have to make it all over again". I completely understand having to pull out of the line, but I felt so belittled by how they treated me. I then parked in the back (was also waiting on plain hash browns). The woman comes out to give me my drink and my hashbrowns but gave me a breakfast sandwich instead, which I couldn't eat if I wanted to because of dietary restrictions. Trust me, I was embarrassed that I had to tell them I needed a different milk, but I literally can't consume dairy so I had to be honest. Came into this Dunkin' this afternoon and had a First Time ( EVER ) bad experience. You don't really mind the employees when you're going through the drive thru... It's the inside Service for me. When I arrived, I needed a moment to see what I wanted; even had two gentlemen go before me. The "cashier" or whatever her position is there, ( she had blonde streaks in her hair, I guess her name was " Stephanie" ) is at the front putting away donuts and also asked me how she could help me? I ignored the fact that she was " trying " to multitask in front of me while not really succeeding well and handling food at that. I began with my order .. " yes can I have a vanilla sprinkled donut. Just one." She turns her back to me to go grab the donut ( I WATCHED HER) . I continued. " that's it for the donuts ." ( she places the donut on the counter to the side ) " can I also have ( pretty much one of every order under the " Roll-ups" choice : steak and cheese, ham and cheese, bacon and cheese. But I wanted double order of the " steak and cheese" ) she started getting confused but I got her back on track and had her understand what I wanted. Order egg and cheese wrap ( the 2$ combo one) 2 orders of the hashbrowns and a SMALL pumpkin spice FROZEN frappe. I'm pretty sure they advertise the frappe with whip cream and caramel on top! The " cashier" gave me a small frappe with no toppings and walked away. I tracked her down and asked if o could get the toppings that go on it.. she looked at me confused. Her co- worker ( which I seen a poster on the back wall that the other girl was Employee of the month) began to explain what I was asking her for , instead of just getting it for me, so the cashier says " yea I'll get the whip cream but not the other stuff ( as she was walking away.) " And did just that. I then turned to the " Employee of the Month" and politely asked for caramel sauce, the girl smiled and waved down the " SAME Girl" Now I'm really confused on why she is employee of the month. So this male employee comes by and she asks him and he gave me some. I said " thank you so much". Then my order was up. My boyfriend took the bag ( but you know how you guys are and don't check bags) glad I checked The bag because I didn't have the DONUT I ordered in the beginning. We walked over to the register and I repeatedly tried to get the " employee of the month" attention, finally she turned around and my boyfriend said " y'all forgot the donut" the girl smiled and waved down the first girl and said you forgot the donut, while reaching to get the donut. The first girl Said " No, I gave it to her." Walked over and looked at me. I opened up my jacket.. backed away and said " where?" She sucked her teeth.. HER TEETH YALL!!! Grabbed my donut , put it in the bag and set it down.. said something to her coworkers in Spanish and some started laughing. Then we left. Smh just no words.. but I have pictures. Let's face it, Dunkin Donuts isn't known for its cleanliness, but this location took it one step further. My family and I went through the drive thru on Sunday evening 8/22. We ordered pumpkin spice lattes for us, and munchkins for the kids. Of course they were already out of the pumpkin syrup and had two flavors of munchkins. So we settled on different drinks and talked the kids into the two flavors they had of the munchkins. There was one car in front of us at the pickup window. The lady working (unmasked) handed the customer an ice cream cone without gloves on. We thought that was a bit odd, but could only hope she washes her hands in between each transaction. We pull up to the window next, and the same lady takes our payment and begins to scratch her face, run her hands in between her hair and visor, scratches her nose, rubs her eyes...she's just all over her face and definitely a turn off as far as food safety is concerned. At this point my wife wants to leave without the food or drinks and I talk her into staying a little longer , as she might wash up and put gloves on. We watch the employee take a cup out of the holster and proceed to dip her hand and the cup in the ice chest to fill it up. No gloves, no washing hands...just straight in adding all kinds of bacteria and who knows what else to the ice. My wife knocks in the window and asks for a refund without our food or drinks. The employee asks why (clearly based on her voice, she has some kind of cold working) and my wife proceeds to tell her why and the employee says we wash our hands and glove up after each transaction. This was clearly not true, as we watched her the entire time. The employee states she could not refund us. We called BS and she ended up calling her manager for approval (our guess is she didn't want to tell management why) We finally get our refund. We call corporate to report the incident, and they noted down everything, and sent out concerns to the franchise owner, with a promise of a call from the owner ASAP. The call never happened. Avoid this location if you value health. read more

I wouldn't even give this place a one star but I have to just to do a review. First time I came here it was a little after 8 P.M. waited and waited on the bell until finally I hear how can I help you today. Okay so you are gonna make me have to say hello and won't take my order till I say hello to the speaker ? Or was he gonna make me wait. It was a young employee and I know not all Young kids are like this but some here just seem lazy and don't know how to do anything like answer a bell. Then they didn't have any of the assorted small donuts. Okay so asked if they had ham and cheese croissants nope. Do what do they have then? I just said no thanks and drove off the bell and went to the one on Patrick that answers the bell and even though never had the small assorted donuts bar the ham and cheese croissants. So the Patrick Street side is where I'm going next time. I go here a second day. I guess I never learned my lesson the first time. My daughter wanted some things from there. I thought okay it's almost 6 and surely they have some things this time. Mu daughter ordered on the app which I told her probably shouldn't since this place of the last time didn't have anything she wanted. She orders on the app anyways and we go through the drive thru and tell them we have a app order done online and my daughters name. Pull up and I'm waiting. The young employee processed to after fixing the sandwich and drink then decide to tell me we are out of munchkin donuts. I said okay what can we get to compensate you being out of those. She says a donut, muffin etc. which they probably didn't have that either as she is probably just pulling crap out of her dead end without even knowing if they has this stuff. My daughter asks if they have a kids ice cream cup that has the cookie on top. No we don't hav that. At this point I'm just frustrated. I said okay she doesn't want any other option just the sandwich and drink. I said how do I get the refund on the donuts you didn't have and waited to till me you didn't have. She says oh we can't do that here you have to do on the app Since ordered on the app and have to request. This is ridiculous. They don't have anything here and can't even give a refund when we ordered at this location on the app. Just pure laziness to me. Corporate really needs to get this place Straightened up and be able to tell manager and employees to give refunds if they don't have stuff because this is ridiculous. I better get my money back or I'm calling corporate which I might still do. I'm never coming back here again!! Lesson learned. They also needs to teach employees how to work nowadays some kids work and some are on phones or lazy and just there they think for decoration I guess. read more

I live about 2 1/2 miles from this store (4969 west view drive ste A Frederick, MD) and come at least 2 to 3 times weekly to get coffee. This morning I attempted to order on the go on my phone. I was excited there was a triple pints promo for on the go and I wanted to try the pretzel croissant. I could not place my order because there was an error each time that I tried to check out in the app. I have already sent that error as a message to the "app feedback" within the app. I wanted to use on we go because you got three times the points when doing so. Needless to say after 3 to 4 attempts it did not work and I kept getting the same error. Decided I would just walk in when I got there. I then went into the store at 8:45 A.m. And waited in line for a few minutes. I heard a couple people asking about the app as well. I placed my order for a pretzel croissant with a Fried egg bacon and white Cheddar cheese as well as a large iced dark roast with two cream, two sugar, two turbo shots. A minute or so later they called my croissant and when I got it I asked if it was the pretzel? "Yes pretzel" was the response. Okay cool, so I sit to wait for the coffee...and wait...and wait. Then I decide I guess I'll eat the sandwich. Well, it wasn't on a pretzel. I told them and they said they would fix it which only took about a minute maybe 2. Still waiting for the coffee so I sat down. Then I hear dark roast...blah blah blah....and 2 turbo, not "iced". So I asked if they could fix it and Jin the manager apologized and said "sure just a moment". I go back to sit down since the line of people waiting has gotten very long. About 2 minutes later she comes back with a coffee and looks at me to hand it to me but there's no cream. I told I'm so sorry but there's supposed to be 2 cream. She quickly added it and I was on my way. Got back to my car at 9:06, 21 minutes later. Then I bite into the pretzel croissant which was very good but the cheese was incorrect. It was not yellow American instead of white cheddar. At this point I was not going back. Mistakes happen and I understand that. Their peak hours are always an absolute mess and there seems to alway be a technological problem preventing them from completing their jobs. Maybe its user error for some. I will say that they do always make it right. Typically a drink might just be missing something and they fix it or remake it right away without hesitation. Whereas, most establishments, associates roll their eyes or scoff and then attempt to remedy the problem. This doesn't happen here, they make it right. As this is right next to my home I will continue to come here but I know others that do not and will just go somewhere else. Thanks for listening. read more

This is my first time coming back since my last terrible review and they haven't failed to be consistent in messing up their drinks. I ordered one large iced coffee with caramel and one small iced coffee and the large had no caramel or sugar and the small had no sugar. And yes, both were asked with cream and sugar. Also, I had a coupon for a free drink which I showed them on my app but it wouldn't scan and they were unhelpful and didn't know how to take a drink off? If you like horrid service this is your place! Our order was fairly simple 2 small frozen hot chocolates, a large decaf pumpkin spice latte with almond milk, and a breakfast wrap. At the drive through we were told no pumpkin spice, okay fine will take the same thing but butter pecan instead. It took us 5 attempts for them to say our order back correctly. We go up to the window and wait 5 minutes only the latte comes out and the wrap. Another 5 minutes the two frozen hot chocolates. We try them and everything is wrong, we got two frozen coffees and a large black coffee, the wrap was also frigid. At this point we are done and ask for a refund and give our drinks back. It took them another 5 minutes to see if we could get a refund. Finally they refunded us for the drinks but since we had taken a bite out of the wrap we couldn't get a refund, which makes no sense but whatever. We leave and just end up going to Starbucks instead. Moral of the story, NEVER GO TO THIS DUNKIN LOCATION There's so many better locations in Frederick read more

This store is clean, the staff are friendly, and my order is always correct. I've never had a negative experience here that is even worth mentioning. Breakfast sandwiches are made to order and my coffee is always delicious and prepared to my liking. The drive-thru is sometimes long but wayyyy quicker than other local coffee shops. This last time went in looking for ice cream... did not have the flavor I was looking for In the prepackaged so asked about the hand packed. At first the girl looked like she had no idea that they had had packed ice cream.. she asked the other girl who told us to buy the prepackaged. explained they didn't have the flavor we wanted and asked about the hand lacked sizes... she told us the small was the large and I questioned that to which she got mad and insisted that it was indeed the large. I showed her that she was wrong and she got mouthy and at that point I left. I thought yesterday's experience with the "shift leader" was an isolated incident but after seeing all the poor reviews I now know better. Simply put, avoid this store. I've been to this location twice and there service is not great. The first time I went was September 5th I asked for a mocha latte and honestly it was the worst I have ever tasted. Unfortunately I tasted when I had already left and the worst thing was when I was going to throw away my receipt I realized they charged me for a large and gave me a medium. Trust me I know the size because I order a mocha latte everyday at the Veirs Mill location where they know how to make lattes. Today I asked if there was someone that knew how to make a mocha latte and this pregnant staff member was so confident to say she could make it. I felt bad to tell her no she doesn't when I tasted it . Never going there for Dunkin drinks perhaps for the ice cream hopefully can't go wrong with ice cream. Who knows. Very disappointing.
