This new DD opened very recently, maybe a week or two ago. It's located right off Route 15 so that's a plus that you can stop in for your sugar fix before jumping on the highway for the commute to work. Since it's brand new, the location is very clean. I noticed that even though it looks pretty much like a traditional DD, they're going for a Starbucks feel with a couple of armchairs around tables to encourage you to hang out. The cashier was very nice and accommodating. I enjoyed my vanilla chai. They only offer it in a medium but at $2.99 it's comparable with other chain tea drinks. I also ordered a pumpkin cake donut that tasted very little of pumpkin and mainly like sugary glaze. Can't really complain though because it's DD- wasn't expecting a naturally sweetened, locally grown pumpkin donut! However, the bf hated his iced coffee. The sign on the door states they are opened at 5:00 am, but when I arrived at 5:20am, the doors were closed. I could see a person in there running late to set up inside. Lost a customer that morning. read more

This location always look dirty, it looks like the table are wipe down with a dirty wash rag, and they didn't use a clean towel to wipe the tables dry. Also trash is always seen on the floor and with over flowing trash cans. This location as well as several other places have gone down in hygiene. To me I believe that a health inspector you should come along and inspect the conditions of all Dunkin' donuts establishments. For this they get 10 thumbs down of a rating. read more

I went to this DD a few weeks ago because my god daughter had me try a iced coffee drink at another DD and I liked it. So I explained to the cashier what drink I had. They did their best to make it but it just wasn't the same. But the staff was very friendly and professional. read more

I frequent several DD locations, and this is one of the most consistently poor locations I visit. Today, I ordered an iced coffee with almond milk and a muffin. The muffin is fine, but the coffee took about 6 minutes to come out in a mostly empty store, and it had liquid sugar in it. I took it back and explained the problem. The gentleman took the coffee and after a few more minutes brought back a coffee with normal cream in it, not almond milk. The woman I ordered from was very pleasant and helpful, but it went downhill after that. Hopefully this review helps them fix some things! read more

I love this location because the women who work here always make my drink correctly, and with care! I order a medium iced latte with only a single pump of mocha, made with almond milk, and when all other locations in Frederick butcher it, this location is reliable and consistent. Every single time I've gone to this one, they mess my coffee up or my food up. Usually it's my coffee. I don't ask for much, besides extra cream and sugar, so I don't know how hard it is to mess up but they do. Usually, it's two younger guys working who are super rude and ignore customers and spend more time talking to one another. Not to mention I've heard them blatantly making fun of customers. Today I requested extra cream, and barely got any....my coffee isn't that beautiful creamy tan, it's more of a watery brown. I have lived in for several years Frederick and end up stopping by this spot once a month to get coffee before work. This location is constantly backed up for the morning rush. They often only have two employees working to put together orders. They get backed up to the point that the employees are very frustrated and it's embarrassing. To be honest it seems like management doesn't care about their employees or are too cheap to hire more help. My suggestion is go somewhere else for your morning coffee! read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE. I get coffee from here occasionally on my way to work at the hospital because it's the only place nearby open at 4am. Every time I come I'm never greeted. It's always the same two guys who seem like they don't want to be there. They never smile and they're never at register. They don't even ask you "how can I help you" or anything of the sort. They just stare at you until you place your order. One time I came in (the store was empty) and waited almost ten minutes before I was approached by anyone. There was no one in sight and I had to shout for someone to come up front and help me. This place really needs to consider hiring friendlier staff. read more

The donuts and coffee are pretty good because it's Dunkin Donuts, but the service is really something else, and not in a good way. This has been mentioned in other reviews but it's worth repeating. There are a couple of guys in there (one in particular) who seem fully dedicated to making you as unhappy to be there as they are. They sneer, they glare, they snicker, they scoff. I keep expecting them to let out a random scream or leap over the counter and try to cut me. They had a donut called "summer glaze" on the menu, and when I asked half-jokingly what that meant, he rolled his eyes and said "what do you think, man?" Nice banter! With the one guy in particular, it's like he almost wants to be fired. And yet, he's in there every time I go in. So now I'm going somewhere else. Farther drive, less discomfort. This is the best Dunkin' Donuts by far in Frederick, they actually stir the coffee and drinks and remember my husband and i's orders every time we go, they are very courteous and always pleasant. I don't have any hesitation to giving them a nice tip. I would recommend this one and and the one out by the movie theater. read more

Anyway, the poor guy there was running the joint all alone since I guess being Sunday morning some of his fellow employees decided to sleep in......... coffee was hot and fresh and donuts were good too. This is by far the WORST Dunkin Donuts I've ever been to. Something has happened over the past year. The customer service is the poorest I have ever had, they never even acknowledge you, they dress in regular street clothes that are so sloppy and they take forever to make a simple iced coffee. I keep trying to give this place another try because of its location. Every single time I go here, something is wrong. Most recent is my coffee! Nothing is worse than getting coffee @ 5am and getting to work, only to realize that your coffee is wrong. With the new one open in Ballenger, I will go to that one instead. read more
