I wanted a bite but not a lot so I got a lemon filled coated and a chocolate filled chocolate coated donut. It satisfied my craving and was just the right amount to suit a now and later situation. The store seems to be having fundamental issues . There's a portable air conditioner in the entrance of the store. The donuts are prepared in Hoover and sent to this location. The plain glaze prepackaged was almost the size of mini donuts and day or two old. Staff is working but there seem to be an issue not sure what it is. There is so much more to say but I think the community deserves a quality product if they are paying two and three dollars for fresh products. If it is a day old serve then charge a reduced amount. All customers should be treated with what the company offers. read more

While this location does not make the doughnuts in house, sometimes they are still warm when received. Every now and then, the "Hot" sign is on. Service is normally good here. What a great visit! I'm still in shock!!! I came in to get a few gift cards for my nieces /nephew as stocking stuffers. The staff was so friendly, helpful and engaged. I don't visit Krispy Kreme often and I hadn't been to this location in a really long time. I had no idea Krispy Kreme had as many donut varieties. Personally, I only care for the lemon filled. And NO I'm not a hot donut fan. I know .... The inside of this location was clean. Had seats for dine in guests. The parking lot isn't the best but there is an adjacent parking lot. The mood doesn't strike often for Krispy Kreme, but when it does, I'm glad there's a place nearby. nearby is relative... we're in Trussville, and this location is near the Roebuck Golf Course. Closer than Hoover for sure! Much smaller than your typical Krispy Kreme. And you have to access the drive-thru from the side road and not the main entrance. It's a little awkward. My favorite donut place. It's both a good thing and a sad thing that it's not nearby. Their donuts are a favorite treat of mine. I love their original glazed donuts and the lemon filled ones. This location is right off the main road, highway 11, but has a weird turn-in to get into the drive-in lane. It can lead to some issues if you're coming from the wrong side of the road, or if you had parked first, but then decided to go through the drive-through instead. Woke up this morning and drove to Krispy Kreme to get a dozen donuts for my son on national random act of kindness day. Then I am told this locations oven has been broken for months and the Hoover location bakes and delivers their donuts. The donuts are old, slimy and not worth serving. How can this establishment allow the oven to be broken for months without repairing or replacing? Time for a new donut spot. read more

We were there last weekend and they were supposed to be open but the door was locked and the employees were staring but made no gestures. Went to the drive thru and the employee at the window said "let him talk I can't understand you" Of course she couldn't I spoke proper English. Don't waste your time at this location. Customer service at this Krispy Kreme is spot on! My husband and I swung by this location for a quick breakfast sweet on our way out to the movie theater in Trussville over the weekend. Instead of opting for the drive thru, we walked in (even if there was only one person in the line). The inside was very clean, organized, packed with donuts and all utensils/condiments were fully stocked. Our waitress was kind and patient while taking our order. During our order, the manager excused her self to ask her a question to our waitress. I think all she needed to do was get into her register. She was extremely apologetic for even asking the question. Regardless, it took maybe 3 seconds and it was no problem at all. We ordered a 1/2 dozen variety of their donuts including some original hot glazed. Everything was placed neatly in our to-go box, was up to par, and tasted fresh. When leaving both the manager and waitress kept thanking us for stopping by their store. They appreciated our business. They made us feel warm and welcomed and as a whole gave us a positive lasting impression of the store. Will be back for more! read more

They aren't honoring the covid vaccination promotion despite advertising that they are. We drove out of our way to get there and were then informed without explanation or apology that they wouldn't follow their advertised deals and were only offering purchases by the dozen. I'm surprised that the drive thru wasn't pack since I went during the rush hour traffic coming home. Didn't realize how much one filled donut can cost a $1.31 cent until after I got the total. For the price, I could've got two more at other reasonable donut shops. Back then, they use to carried the apple filled donuts, but they don't sell em no more at this location. As for the donut, my raspberry filled could've used more filling. The plus side is that they have friendly employees at the drive thru. read more
