COVID-19 precautions wise some workers had masks and some didn't and there was no other precautions. The trash cans were over filled to the point where precious customers started putting their trash on the floor or on the gum-ball machine near the exit. Melted ice cream on the floor (slip hazard). I continue to give this Cold Stone Creamery a chance, yet I continue to be disappointed. On my most recent visit, it was a Saturday night around 9. I enter and 2 people are ahead of me. When it's my turn the young guy comes over but just stares at me and doesn't part his lips. I look back at him and we just stare at each other for several seconds. Trussville knows what it's doing with this creamery being right of the main road in a small, but convenient parking lot. A few lights bulbs were out, so it almost looks closed, but that's a temporary problem. You get a "Welcome to Coldstone!" upon entering and good service throughout. I recently (and pleasantly) discovered this location just north of Bham. I previously thought Huntsville was the closest, so this was an exciting find. The quality and quantity matches that of Coldstone Creameries in other places. Plus, the consistently delicious flavor of freshly made waffle bowls is in the air. I highly recommend getting your ice cream in one. With 18 flavors to choose from, there is an ice cream to match everyone's taste. Plus, the amount of toppings (healthy and guilty treats) are plentiful. After you pick your ice cream flavor, select your "fixings" to be mixed on the marble slab. Or, if you prefer (which I do), select one of their signature creations. My go to is Founder's Favorite...sweet cream ice cream, brownies, pecans, caramel, and fudge. The portions are HUGE, so a "Like It" is always more than enough for me. If you're the go big or go home type, a "Gotta Have It" may be more your style. As far as ice cream options goes for Trussville, this is a very so-so option. The ice cream is a bit overpriced for the quality you are receiving, and the place is always understaffed. It's kept clean, however, and there is a wide range of flavors so you'll probably something you like. Worth at least a couple visits if you need your ice cream fix. read more

With kids this is a rough process to constantly reconfigure what they are expecting. Then, the microwave is out. Nearly a third of the menu board is dedicated to products that require the microwave, but they are unavailable with no indication. There are 3 employees in the store.
