With the prices being what they are, I was not keen on the extra charge for an alt milk. There is plenty of indoor seating and a merchandise area where you can buy coffee, equipment, and shirts. They sell Proud Mary Coffee, as well as Rowan Coffee Roasters (which they currently use for drinks). Laptops are not allowed on the weekends-- gotta love that intentional disconnect from technology to connect with humans irl. :)

It was so surprising- It had a sweet and fruity taste, and I asked the owner about it and he said it's a special type of coffee fermented with fruits and that he cycles through different blends for the iced coffee often. I love the intention and creativity put in to the process. I wasn't a huge fan of the flavor and he offered me to try the cold brew instead, which was very kind and a relief because I hate telling anyone I don't like a drink! The cold brew was much more up my alley, very strong and dark and it was great without any syrup or creamer. I love the interior of the shop and the sense of comfort you get being in there. They had a ton of coffee beans And I asked the owner which would be the best dark roast and he picked one out for me that's been pretty good so far (although not as dark as I expected). My friend got a dirty chai and I don't think she was too thrilled with it. But I would definitely come back to try some new things!

On my last two visits, I added the peach-infused cold foam, and it takes the drink to another level. The flavors pair perfectly, and it's quickly become one of my favorite coffee drinks. The café itself is a great place to relax or get some work done. It's bright without feeling harsh, and there's plenty of seating, including both comfortable lounge-style chairs and standard tables and chairs. I've never had trouble finding a spot. The staff has been friendly on every visit, and my drinks have always come out quickly. I haven't had the chance to try the food yet, but based on my experience so far, I definitely plan to. It's located right along 2nd Ave amongst all of the restaurant hubbub. Street parking, but if you're willing to take a stroll for a couple blocks, it's easy. This is one of the busier coffee shops in town, I would advise against seeking silence here. It's a shared space with "basic," a vintage clothing and art retailer which has awesome things made by local people. The people that worked there were so friendly. I came because I had to get that crème brûlée latte. It did not disappoint. One of the most delicious coffee drinks I've had in a long time. It tasted like a hug, perfectly caramel sweet, and fun to drink. It's not often that coffee gets turned into an interactive experience. The pastries looks great. The espresso is thin bodied, sweet, and has a touch of a pleasant acidity. Perfect for a morning or late afternoon pick me up.
