My husband and I joined some friends for a late dinner at Krasa. We were happy that they were open late and cooking late. They have a limited menu but what they make, they do well. We had the cheeseburger, truffle fries, and the Chicago chicken shawarma. The food was messy, which was a good sign. The food had lots of flavor to it. Each dish was top notch. Saying that this restaurant has character is an understatement. From the goldfish pond in a bathtub to the many anti-Putin decorations, there is plenty to look at and talk about. This Ukrainian restaurant is a must try. I highly recommend Krasa!

Stopped in for the first time to try their Restaurant Week burger, fries, and drink combo. The burger was their Mushroom Burger, and full of flavor. My husband loved it, whereas I thought it was pretty good, but not the flavor profile I usually want in a burger. It was also a lot of food for me. They have many different burger choices though, so I would happily come back again to try a different burger. The fries with the combo were plain, but came with ketchup and garlic mayo to dip. Next time, maybe we'll try the truffle fries. The atmosphere was pretty cool and funky. The restaurant is pet friendly, though no dogs were visiting while we were there. There is a dark, starry vibe, with little paper stars hanging from the ceiling, displaying names and messages from other visitors. There is a large bathtub serving as a goldfish pond near the front of the restaurant. At one point (about 5:30pm), some like club music started playing. Service was reasonably fast and friendly. In a restaurant first, they gave us a bag of two mangoes as like, dessert? Not sure if you get mangoes all of the time, for restaurant week only, or what. There is also a very large bowl of candy at the front, in case you'd prefer that to end things on a sweet note.

There is indoor seating with lots of plants and a tub with goldfish! The cashier is very friendly and cheerful. She even gifted us mangos, which was so nice! Their burgers are really delicious and I'd recommend getting their cheese and garlic fries. The garlic sauce is addicting! I got their flame burger and it wasn't spicy, but it was really juicy and the lettuce had a crunch! Fries could have been more crispier but everything I've had here has been chefs kiss ! Plus, it doesn't leave you as sluggish compared to other burger restaurants

I just want to try this new burger and shawarma place. Heard while in line that this is Ukrainian resto. The place looks nice. They have starry starry night design and there is tub in the corner. One menu for burgers and one side is shawarma. We ordered both. Hubby just want the cheeseburger and I ordered the spicy chicken wrap. The burger is decent in size. Nothing special on the taste. For me it is too much mustard taste. The bread is not good though. It is on the dry side. As for the shawarma, it is phenomenal! I love the garlic sauce that they put inside. It makes the whole sandwich juicy. Whaterver spices in the chicken is just perfect. The wrap has a crisp to it. It is spicy but not too much. It gives a kick to the sandwich. The wrap is huge so I was able to eat the other half the next day. The server is nice and decent time of wait to get your food. I will not go for the burger but definitely coming back for the wrap!

We ordered the chicken shawarma. It was so delicious. The Ukrainian Classic comes with chicken, cabbage, tomatoes, pickles, garlic sauce. The shawarma is enough for two people, but too good to share. The garlic sauce was so delicious. Friendly service and unique ambiance with lots of live plants and dance club music. All I wanna hear is untz-untz-untz-untz-untz-untz. DJ make the bass go boom, boom, boom, boom! We will be back.

Greta good! Chicago shawarma is top notch! Tasty and fast service, will come again! Clean and nice design!

My impossible mushroom burger was amazing! The interior design was very unique and fun. They have a TV screen showing the back kitchen which made me trust the food. I like the variety of occasions it could fit with (family friendly and also fun to drink with friends)

I don't normally leave negative reviews, but this experience was unbelievable…read more Three of us came in for dinner and spent around $60. Two of my friends ordered their burgers with the bumper sauce on the side. When our food came out, there was only one cup of sauce for both burgers. My friend politely went up to the counter and explained that both burgers were supposed to have the sauce on the side. That's when Garrett, who identified himself as the manager, turned what should have been a 10-second fix into an unnecessary confrontation. The most unbelievable part was watching another employee try to make things right by handing us a full cup of sauce, only for Garrett to take it away, pour some of it out, and hand us back a half-filled cup just to prove a point. I've honestly never seen a manager act that petty over something so insignificant. Seriously...what kind of business sense does that make? Three customers spend $60, and you're willing to lose them over sauce that costs less than a dollar? Instead of taking care of customers and supporting his employee, Garrett chose to argue over a condiment. This wasn't about trying to get something for free. We were simply asking for what was ordered. A good manager understands that customer service is what keeps people coming back. Unfortunately, Garrett showed the exact opposite. The food itself was good, but customer service can make or break a restaurant. Because of how Garrett handled such a simple issue, we won't be back, and I certainly can't recommend this place to anyone looking to be treated with respect.

It's a small business, and they make orders on the spot instead of making burgers ahead and leaving them in a warming tray, so that's ok to some extent but not a place where I would be able to go very often. The fries weren't good. They weren't at all crispy; they seemed like fries that had been sitting around for a bit. They were that kind of wrinkly that fries get after a few minutes, if you know what I mean, and limp. Disappointing and nearly inedible; I only ate maybe half. They were amongst the worst fries I've ever had, but maybe this is the one bit of their menu they don't make to order and if I'd had them fresh it would be good. Because they make their food to order, it takes a bit for your food to be ready. I think it took about 10 minutes, and if there had been anyone behind me I think they have a couple of spaces in the front of the restaurant to wait.

In the meantime, I ordered a Hot Chick (medium heat), with a side of fries, some extra pickles, and the garlic sauce to make my Slavic heart happy. The food came out fresh from the bubbling oil, it could be handled without burns, but clearly spent no time under a lamp. Both the chicken and the fries were fried to a delectable crunch. No twice-fried-as-an-excuse here, genuinely well done. My only note is that it feels as though the fries and chicken *may* have spent an extra 15 seconds in the fryer. While the innards were tender, it felt as though a tinge of moisture was sacrificed without need. The fries were seasoned perfectly, and other than the usual delight of dipping them into everything on the plate, they were perfect as they were. Fantastic amount too, not the starch overload of Five Guys, but not a skimpy serving either. The chicken sandwich was the real star. The medium contained some proper spice without having smoke come out the ears. It was well sauced, and had a great hit of acid from the pickles. Out of left field came the slaw: I was not expecting to like this to the point of almost leaving it out. However, it was fresh, felt homemade, and wasn't a mayonnaise bomb. Would order the again without complaints or reservations. I also had a chance to try their house-made lemonade. I appreciate that they use zero-calorie sweetener to cut down on sugars. However, it came out too sweet for my liking. It would be helpful to have options of level and type of sweet. Final notes: The server behind the counter was very welcoming and friendly, and the food came out in a reasonable time frame considering how fresh everything was. Final verdict: A case where I say it's a good thing Nash Bros is a little bit of a hike, otherwise I might visit too much for my health. Barring some minor notes, everything was scrumptious, and I'd happily order it all again (and likely will!)

We got here about 30 minutes before closing time. The restaurant was somewhat busy w/ dine-in and carry-out orders. I ordered their original Nashville Hot fried chicken sandwich made Xtra Hot based on their heat level offerings (which was the highest heat level) and my wife ordered their Honey Butter fried chicken sandwich with mild heat level. I also got their House Fries that were seasoned crinkle cut fries. We asked for cups of water but were told that they were out of cups, so either buy water or can of pop. They did not have fountain drinks. The food came out shortly. My etra hot sandwich tray was tagged as 'Hot' w/ three symbols. I asked them if that meant the sandwich was just 'Hot' and not 'Xtra Hot' and I was told that if I ordered extra hot then it meant it was extra hot. My sandwich was really delicious. The flavor was good and the texture was nice. The Xtra Hot flavor was not overwhelming but also it did not seem like the extra hot they said I should be mindful of because it was going to be very spicy. My sandwich was decently crunchy and the pickles and coleslaw had a tad bit of sweetness that went well with the heat of the fried chicken. The Brioche bun was well toasted. The fried chicken patty was decent in size. The Honey Butter fried chicken was a major letdown. It's a sandwich in Brioche bun w/ fried chicken and only spicy honey butter (no pickles or slaw). The bun and the fried chicken were drenched in melted butter but there was no taste of sweet heat or just sweet honey. The fried chicken patty didn't have any flavor either. We mentioned it to the staff members and they apologized for the way it turned out for us. The crinkle cut fries were okay. They were soft and unevenly seasoned. The seasoning was decent in taste. Overall, we had a decent experience. The service was okay. My original Nashville hot chicken was delicious but the Honey Butter chicken sandwich was anything but delicious. The restaurant aesthetics were decent. They have a live band performance area. It's a nice, friendly restaurant with a decent menu variety. We weren't wowed by the food but I would say that the original Nashville Hot fried chicken sandwich was worth trying.
