The only drawback is that there is a lack of tables large enough to seat a big group together, but the space is small enough that the seating isn't super far from one another if you need to split up. Cooking was quite fast, and service was direct and sufficient (this is more fast casual). If you come here, the choices are pretty much limited to just burgers and shawarma and fries. Normally, a limited menu wouldn't be a great thing - except that Krasa really delivers on very high quality versions of each of these items. The burgers are assembled well and flavorful, with quality ingredients. Although there are many different sauce options available, this really isn't necessary because you can taste the ingredient quality, and the textures are nice through the whole sandwich. The truffle fries can be a bit messy to deal with, but are flavorful and relatively inexpensive. The shawarma though is the item that I'd come back here for. This looks slightly expensive, but this filled with plenty of meat, cabbage, tomatoes, garlic sauce, cheese, etc. with a slightly crisp wrap from the grilling. I found this to be extremely flavorful and the chicken was cooked to perfection, tender and with just the right amount of sear. This was quite filling even when shared with 2 people, and again the textures throughout the whole entree shined. Overall, definitely worth another visit when I'm in the area. The flavors are great and prices are fair. During my visit, most people seemed to carryout, so it was nice to sit around and have a casual conversation for a bit while everyone in our party agreed on how delicious the food was.

I ordered the spicy chicken shawarma with truffle fries, my boyfriend got the regular shawarma, and our friends ordered a regular shawarma and a burger with fries. The biggest difference for me was the temperature and overall execution. At the Chicago location, everything always comes out hot, fresh, and honestly feels like it's made with extra love. This time, the food wasn't piping hot, and my fries were actually less than room temperature, which was disappointing--especially because the truffle fries are one of my favorite things there. I still love the brand and will absolutely continue going to the Chicago location, but I'm hoping the Des Plaines spot finds its rhythm soon because I'd love for it to live up to the same standard.

I tried the Chicken and Rice Bowl and ordered the spice level as very hot - it was amazing. I also tried the Periwarma Wrap - their take on a Schwarma wrap with chicken - delicious! So much flavor and cream based inside. I also tried a side of the roasted corn - big portion and a great flavor. The restaurant has a cool little robot machine bring your order if you're dining in, tons of seating available. The man who took my order at the front counter was very nice as well. Definitely check them out if you never tried their food before and want some delicious chicken. She wasn't so happy that we had to wait 40-50 minutes for our to-go order (we came in on a Friday and ordered at 12:50pm; received all of our food at 1:40pm). There were a lot of impatient-looking people with us in the restaurant. It's probably not the best idea to visit when you have any other timely obligations weighing on you. As it is, I'd definitely call ahead. While waiting, I noted that at least two Uber drivers had to let their customers know the restaurant was out of something they had wanted. If this were a more established location, it would definitely be receiving less than 4 stars. It was absolutely delicious and made the whole experience feel extra special. We ordered the garlic naan (because... obviously), Chicken Mughalai, Butter Paneer Masala, and Chicken Tikka Masala. Each entrée came with white rice and every dish had its own unique flavor and spice profile. Rich, creamy, comforting, and full of flavor without feeling repetitive.
