Krab Kingz Seafood - Snow Crab - Seafood Near Me - Spring, Texas

I usually go to the one on Antoine but decided to check this one out since it's closer to my house.

Hit or miss.. last Thursday I had two very small 1/2 bodies that were dark. I eat crabs enough to know that they were not freshly cooked. I could tell they were left over, by the darkness of them.. Today, the crabs were well sized, and colored as they should be. Tasty! read more

Krab Kingz Seafood - #4 with extra crab legs and extra corn w/ cajun flavor..DELICIOUS!!!! - Seafood Near Me - Spring, Texas

Favorite place to visit to kill that shrimp and crab leg fix. BYOB always a plus to go with your spicy meal. I always combine my flavors to meet that flavor I crave. Love that the shrimp is peeled so you just go straight to eating. Can't wait for that crawfish to come around. I always recommend and post about it to my family. Stop and visit or get yours to go but try it. Cajun honey garlic mix won't disappoint Or the spicy honey garlic for that sweet heat! Sam will take care of you. read more

Krab Kingz Seafood - Snow Krab & Shrimp Platter - Seafood Near Me - Spring, Texas

Everything on the menu is so flavorful and delicious. The service is friendly and attentive and a great place to eat in or for takeout.

Customer service was below standards; employees are in need of training. I didn't receive my order with the rest of my party, when I finally received it, it was not as requested and missing the shrimp. There were other issues I would like to discuss; too lengthy for this platform. read more

This is my very first review and I am not a person to write them, but seafood is my favorite cuisine so I must write this. I ordered the 'Snow Crab & Shrimp' platter and even though it looks delicious, it is far from that. I ordered a blend of Cajun and Spicy and was completely underwhelmed with both. I was born and raised in Southern Louisiana (Baton Rouge / New Orleans) so my taste buds are trained in Cajun and this was not prepped in that style. Seasoning DOES NOT go on top of seafood, it goes in! The flavor should be inside of the meat instead of tossed on top like decoration. No flavor inside the crab whatsoever. My tastebuds were waiting for the seasonal vehicles to arrive and they never came. The shrimp were nice size, but once again, the outside was pretty but the inside was not. I have no idea how shrimp can taste like water mixed with half-a** seasoning. It was like my mouth was getting the spice... but with no flavor. It's like I dabbled a pinch of salt in a cup of water and that was it! Nothing popped out that spoke Cajun or spice in this platter. Hopefully you guys read this, take a trip down to some real southern style, Cajun blazing, spicy nicely places in the heart of Cajun country and learn how they do they thang! All love, but come on! I'll be back in a few months for another review. read more

Amazing seafood! They bring you a bowl of seafood boil and it is just magic! I went there with family and the staff was so kind and helpful. The food has so much flavor! We ate till our hearts where delighted and the food here will delight. It's really neat that they bring you this cool way to clean your hands after eating, you have to check it out! I've reviewed before but this is my final visit. I ordered and was asked what car I would be in and told my order would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I arrived 20 minutes later. Since there was no parking directly in front I called to let them know I'd arrived (since they asked the type of car I'd be in). The biracial employee answered- I told her I was here and she hung up on me. Like really. How I know it was her.....this isn't the first time she's been rude. If you don't like your job get another one. How difficult is it to take orders TF. And OWNER there are several reviews on here about poor customer service. This is a reflection of you and lack of leadership read more

This was my boyfriend's and I first time trying the restaurant. I am an avid seafood eater so I know what GOOD seafood is supposed to taste like. This is NOT what it is supposed to taste like! Let's start with the outrageous prices.. for a pound of crab legs, a pound of shrimp, and 4 pieces of catfish was 80 dollars..... The catfish was very bland and undercooked because the outside was crispy, but the inside was not done.. as if it was rushed. The sauce for the shrimp and crabs were very oily, dusty, and tasteless if that makes sense. There was so much seasoning on the outside that didn't taste of anything and you could tell the seafood wasn't seasoned well at all because the crab meat and shrimp were super bland, although we ordered "spicy." There was also a smell that Im trying to think of the words to describe but it didn't smell like any seafood that I have EVER had. All in all, save your money and go to JJ's seafood on the southwest side. I'll never betray them again after this UPDATE: Samuel responded to my review that everyone has different preferences and the prices reflect their quality. Obviously they do not if I am writing this review! I have spent way more on seafood of better quality and the fact that his response is that everyone preferences are different is not what a business owner, as myself would respond as. Looking at the review you should maybe fully staff the location or you yourself work there for a week to see what's wrong because there are OTHER reviews that state similar things I have mentioned! My mom always said, if three or more people say it... it's true! I hope YOU have a great week and get the people at this location some help to improve the quality that you so speak of! Thank you! read more

I visited here at 2pm on a weekday. There was no wait. The food was ready in a timely manner. There was no dine in option due to COVID. I placed my order and waited in my car. The staff member brought my food to my car. Everything tasted good. I ordered shrimp, fries, and hush puppies. The shrimp had a little spice to them. The food was good and the customer service was also good. I will be returning. read more

I love spicy crab and seasoned potatoes in garlic butter. I have become a regular at this place because everything is so freaking GOOD. You get a lot of food, I can never eat it all. I suggested to the owner that he put a smaller portion item on his menu, for women like me who can't eat a lot. Everyone is nice and they ck on you when you dine in. Owner walks around and makes sure that everything is good. Glad they are so close to my home. read more

Food was AMAZING!! Service was EXCEPTIONAL First time visit with my family of 5, little wait time & the staff worked urgently to accommodate space for our group. The Cajun and Spicy flavors were delicious, not too spicy but a nice kick. The lemon pepper was surprisingly great as well! Sam was very welcoming and made sure we enjoyed our visit to this location! I ordered with door dash, the food came earlier than was expected. I got the original flavor, it was great, but just be aware that they season with a little heat. Love the sausage, the potatoes were cut up to soak up all that good flavor. Only disappointment was that the snow crabs were on the smaller side. Overall the experience was great read more

Let's start on the fact that when you call they never answer. I was able to finally get an answer placed my order and she said that orders over $40 would have to be paid by phone or else they wouldn't start the order until I arrived. That was irrelevant because my order was less than $30. I placed my order by phone, show up, pay, and THEN she barely put my order in. So I had to wait extra time. I even asked if the order was placed and she lied and said yes. Then I heard her go back and give them the order. What's the point of call ahead ordering? Smh. And the employee wasn't even nice. Not sure what or when things changed here. They used to have great service read more

My family and I arrived to the empty restaurant at 7:30PM on a Friday night, after driving over a hour only to be told that they are no longer taking orders because we already started cleaning and are short staffed. My husband tried to explain to them that we drove far to come and the girl at the front didn't show any compassion at all and rolled her eyes as we went to leave. read more

Wow, what flavor!! I mixed flavors when I ordered crab and shrimp and it was some of the best tasting seafood that I have had recently. The other highlights of the visit was the customer service and cleanliness in this establishment. I just went here for the first time and got extreme food poisoning. Do not recommend.

WOW. what a find. we went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon, I have say the decor is pretty bland, but the food is not. My wife and I split number 1 (about $40) there was plenty of food for 2 adults. They have 3 levels of spice, we liked the cajun. I enjoyed the hard boiled eggs mix. Kind of wish they had bread or biscuts to soak up all the yummy sause. if you like shrimp and crab you are hoing to love this place. read more

Went there with my wife and my daughter. The place could be cleaner. The lady behind the counter looked like she didn't want to be there. We had a hard time getting paper towels or napkins. The food is ok but it's not fresh. The prices are a little steep. If the service was better you could over look the rest. I'd rather go to bluewater down the road. Doubtful that I'll return. read more

Do not waste your time or money . The food was salty and old. It should be again the law to warm up seafood and serve it up . I KNOW what we had was NOT what Tyler Perry had when he came to Houston. Hell I don't know why it took so long all they tried to do is splash some warm butter on top of old seafood. Bad . read more

So I wanted to support black owned businesses and came across Krab Kingz. Then I read the reviews and the majority talked about how good it was. I went here last week and forgot to post because I was still licking my fingers! This place is so good! I tried the one off of 290 but due to the horrible service didn't even get to eat. Decided to give this place a chance since I heard such great things. And I was not disappointed! From the staff to the cleanliness to the food, everything is A-1! Only downside is they're not open 7 days a week. Otherwise they would know me by name! Speaking of, they actually do try to remember your name and make it a personal experience. I got the Cajun garlic butter crab legs with potatoes. They were hot, seasoned, and very fresh. My friend suggested the lemon pepper which I'll get next time. Prices are very reasonable.
