It's been a while since I had Korean BBQ and KPOT did not disappoint, it was awesome! The freshness, quality, and variety of options and fantastic service were some major highlights. I hope they maintain these standards over time and this could definitely become our go to spot... I'm so glad we finally stopped in :) We had a group of 7 and this place doesn't accept reservations so we decided to try for dinner on the earlier end- 645pm. When we arrived on Friday evening the place was already packed. I saw people waiting along the seating area near the bar. I was worried it might be a while. When I first spoke to the ladies up front they said for 7 of us, we could wait for one of the large tables that seats up to 10 ppl and has 2 grill areas in the table however that could be up to a 45 minute wait.... We all had come a bit hangry hoping it wouldn't take too long. After letting them know that it was probably not going to work for us, they said we could also take a smaller group booth that typically seats 6, and only has 1 grill but had zero wait time. We took that option without hesitation! I appreciated that they offered a solution to us, to prevent changing our dinner plans due to potential long wait time. The smaller booth worked out just fine for us, we are all friends and not afraid to throw some bows to reach for the meats lol. Having 1 grill with that many people was not ideal, but getting to eat right away, that was 100% ideal. And eat we did! The table opted for the AYCE KBBQ (it has to be all, so make sure everyone in your group came to eat!). We ordered every meat option (except chicken just due to it being basic) on the menu, and found there were a few favorites among the group-- beef short rib, spicy beef bulgogi, spicy pork belly, and smoked garlic pork belly. We did a few rounds of those items. We also really enjoyed the garlic shrimp, KPOT steak, salmon, jumbo shrimp and oysters. The meats were all tender and flavorful. We also really liked having the whole garlic cloves, mushrooms, onions, and pineapple. On the buffet everyone liked the chicken wings, fried shrimp, and various sides & sauces. We did not add the hot pot option (which was only $5 more with Kbbq dinner price) and I'm so glad. Our table was consistently jammed packed and there would not have been space for anything else. 6 of us ordered drinks from the bar, and found the bar menu was good. The old-fashioned cocktails were surprisingly good and we had 2 small bottles of soju for the table- lychee and peach. Those were a nice treat throughout the meal. From the time we opened up the iPad and placed our first order, the 2-hour window began and initially we thought we would be finished well before then, but we kept ordering more items and they came out so rapidly that time flew! We used up our entire time window no problem and left there feeling full but not overly full! It was a deliciously fun time! Our server was excellent, he was friendly and engaged with our banter in a fun way, he checked on us regularly, and made sure we had everything we needed including switching out grill plates a few times. We couldn't have asked for a better K-BBQ experience at KPOT. I'll definitely come back and have hot pot next time.

First time here and we loved it!! Totally worth the drive for us who live 40 minutes away... We know people who have recommended it the place to us. Kaizen was our server, the prep kitchen was busy so some orders took extra time... so he kept checking on our food and taking it to us. Food was yummy. We loved that the buffet was included , we opted for both hot pot and KBBQ Ice cream is also included!! And they have 3 flavors of margaritas We loved it, fun ambiance with cool photo ops in the entrance :)

Beef Brisket - too thick, too tough and chewy

We've been here before and previously had good food and service, but tonight was the complete opposite. The beef brisket, pork belly, and beef tongue were very poor quality. The slices were cut far too thick and large, making the meat extremely tough and chewy. We literally could not chew some of the pieces and had to swallow them whole. We politely asked if the meat could be sliced thinner so it would actually be edible, but were told they "couldn't slice it any thinner" and that was basically the end of the conversation. The manager, Gabe, was not accommodating at all. He listened to our concerns but did nothing to resolve them. Instead, he dismissed the issue by saying he had eaten the meat earlier and thought it was fine. For a Friday night family dinner at $34.99 per person, this was a terrible experience. We left disappointed and unable to enjoy our meal. Between the poor meat quality and the lack of customer service, we will not be returning. Management needs to take customer feedback seriously and improve both quality control and service if they want customers to come back.

Wish I had one of these in my city! The atmosphere was so cool! Sat us right away, explained the easy ordering system and we got stated. We tried the bbq only. It's all you can eat and you have a 2 hour limit. Every meat was delicious! Sauces were endless. A few tables next to us got hot pot and the variety of items looks phenomenal. Next time I'm in Phoenix, this is going to be the first place I go!

KPOT has quickly become one of my favorite AYCE spots. I love that I can enjoy both hot pot and Korean BBQ in one place, and the DIY dipping sauce bar is a huge plus. I love being able to customize my dipping sauces and sauce marinades. I'm usually not big on franchise Korean food, but this one fits the spot just perfectly. The quality of the meats was very good and noticeably fresh, which makes all the difference for an all-you-can-eat experience. The automated ordering system was interesting to me. It's basically an iPad where you can place your order at the table and it's very efficient. Efficiency is key, especially at a Korean Nall. You can eat restaurant because there's only a two hour limit for dining. For about $33.99 all-you-can-eat, it feels like a good value, especially for the amount of food and choice you get. Beware the weekend - there are long waits between 3pm to 8pm. Fortunately, our group went early in the day and only had to wait 15 minutes.

We came to KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot for the first time to celebrate my daughter, and overall it was a great experience. We ordered the hot pot + Korean BBQ combo, which was about $5 extra and absolutely worth it for the variety. The menu is extensive, and two hours is more than enough time to try multiple items. Our server Danny was excellent his attitude and energy were our favorite part of the experience. He even created a custom sauce for us that was sweet and nutty, which both my daughter and I really enjoyed. We came during happy hour (12-5 PM), and the ambiance and service were great. Everything felt modern, clean, and well-organized. The only downside for me was the strict two-hour time limit. Psychologically, it made me a little anxious since I'm a slow eater but realistically, the time was sufficient to enjoy the meal and explore the menu. Overall, we're giving KPOT a 4 out of 5 stars mainly because of the excellent service, wide menu selection, and overall experience. We'd definitely come back.

Good first time! Definitely different type of grill from the usual I've seen. They have a self serve for appetizers, sauces, sides, and desserts. Over all, the meats they had were good. We ended up upgrading our lunch to the dinner for another 8 dollars so we can get the short ribs. A hack my brother did with the mussels is get some butter and chopped garlic and put it on the mussels so it would melt as they were on the grill....probably my favorite thing we had!! Our server was very patient and kind and always refilling our water cups. The music definitely gets to you if you're listening..it's all country Christmas music lol.

Went here for the first time and it was great. My friend and I had the BBQ, I'll have to return for the hot pot. Theres no way I could eat both! There's a pretty large variety of meats and seafood. So many sauces, desserts and sides. There is a 2 hr time limit which is normal. Food was fresh and service was great! I think this is pretty unique because it serves both hot pot and bbq. There's no such thing as multi-tasking. Your brain just quickly switches between tasks, which means you're not doing your best at any task. That's why when faced with the choice of BBQ, hotpot, or both- I chose hotpot and promised BBQ I would return soon. My first experience at KPOT was flawless. Wide array of meats, veggies, and seafood in a convenient individual hotpot. The sauce & condiments bar seemed to go on forever. My second visit for BBQ revealed some quality issues. The Short Ribs were cut paper thin (to mask toughness?), Finger Ribs were sinewy, and Pork Cheeks were sliced too thick to be palatable. I did like the Prime Brisket, Bulgogi, and Smoke Garlic Pork Belly so it was hit/miss. Consistency is salient though. They could get better Short Rib & put a per person limit on it if it hurts their bottom line. What was consistent both times was their business operations. Food orders came out in minutes. Empty plates were constantly being cleared. Water refills and grill changes, psychically well-timed. Workers were moving every second like it's Christmas week at LAX (in a good way). KPOT currently has over 100 locations in 36 states, bringing KBBQ & hotpot to people who think they can multi-task. Soon, the brand is coming to CA, and I look forward to stopping by for hotpot...or BBQ.

A few steak options were out of stock, which was a bit of a bummer, but overall the meat selection was still solid. It's a great spot to come with friends and cook together at the grill. The servers were super attentive and brought out the meats incredibly fast, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.

This is a solid spot to go to for hot pot and kbbq. I find it's a lot to manage to do both at the same time, so I prefer one or the other when I go. My favorite soup base is their healthy herbs one. It's really flavorful. The have plenty of options for meats and veggies. I like that they have a bar for desserts, sauces, and more. They also offer ice cream at the end of your meal. Service can be a little hectic if there's a bunch of people but they do try their best and they're all friendly. It's what you'd expect out of a hot pot/kbbq place. The number of birthdays that get celebrated there is a lot lol. So, fairly noisy when there's a ton of folks.

Their AC was broken, and they didn't inform anyone. We waited for an hour before being seated, only to find out it was extremely hot inside due to the broken AC. A couple of people complained about the heat. What did they do? They kicked them out. After seeing that, we decided to leave before our food even arrived. We had been here once before and enjoyed their hot pot, which is why we came back. However, no food is good enough to justify being treated the way those customers were--simply for saying it was too hot. The manager didn't explain why they failed to disclose the AC issue. His attitude was completely unprofessional. It's unacceptable to pack people into a hot room, ignore safety concerns, and then remove anyone who speaks up. At those temperatures, food safety is also at risk--and they clearly didn't care. This isn't just bad service; it's irresponsible. I'll be reporting this to the state board. read more

Came here 11/30/25 at around 3pm, everything went well at FIRST, customer service here is awesome so I'm disappointed writing this review because honestly our waiter was so nice & attentive. I'm rating 1 star because I got food poisoning from either the shellfish or the fried rice. 1 hour after eating I noticed a horrible stomach ache and a lot of nausea. This was the only meal I consumed because I couldn't get myself to eat again because of the nausea. Fast forward after walking and being out all day, I threw up all the food I ate at KPOT. I ended up at urgent care and they confirmed I did get food poisoning from here. read more

Service is HORRIBLE. Might as well go to the back and get my own food. You wait over 30 minutes to get uncooked food brought to your table. If you want your grilled changed you have to ask over 3 different servers. Don't be surprised if you find a hair in your meat. Gen is better than this sh1t hole... (says a lot). our server bryan was amazing! really friendly and accommodating. the food was also great for an AYCE place, i ate a lot of their thinly sliced beef cuts (brisket, tongue, belly, etc.) with my chicken broth hotpot. the ambience is also good and the place felt very modern with a lot of space. you can choose kbbq, hotpot, or both together for just $5 extra. overall solid spot if you're looking for a night out but not trying to spend more than $50/person. read more

Great place to celebrate special occasions or just to have great conversation pver k bbq and hotpot for additional $5. Totally worth it. Food is great. When we went, the orders kinda lagged so we kept ordering. When the orders came in, we ended up with so much food. It's worth coming here. Try it if you're tired of Gens. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!!! There are many 5-Star reviews for this restaurant by what appears to be newly created Yelp profiles, with no other past Yelp reviews/history. Seems that those rating are coming from people affiliated with this restaurant, because this restaurant definitely is no where near 5-Stars. Came in and got seated and not one person helped me. Had to walk out after zero attention and a 10-minute wait for NO ONE, even after asking who my server was, they did their best to ignore me. I would recommend going elsewhere from this awful place. The way they all treated me was truly disgusting. I used to go to KPOTs in Southern California with my friends and family and after this experience, there's NO WAY AT ALL that I will be paying patronage to any of their restaurants in the future and have already advised my family and friends also not to. With all the better KBBQ places out there, please go somewhere else and spend your money at restaurants that will provide you better services than what the rude and entitled servers have to offer at this place. All they'll do is ignore you and treat you poorly for addressing it. read more

Food here is absolutely amazing. The meats that are seasoned are done so very well. They have a tablet for you to order your food and it comes out very fast. The waiter constantly checks in to see if you need anything. The food bar is incredible and they make their kimchi and cucumber salad in house. No complaints literally going back tomorrow for more. Manager : Eric was his name, completely rude about today's service and told him we were told by server that we can get our birthday meal for free! Came in ate but the soda machines were down! I understand and ordered a Tea drank only one cup and was told no more refills bec drink machine was not even working at all, so all they had was water! Let that go but me and my bf was celebrating our birthday and gave them our id to show proof asked if they did anything and they said no! Then proceeded to not have our server around at all no refills of water, no napkins. Got our check and then manager Eric proceeded to tell us he let go of the guy that told us we can get our birthday meal free! And did not even get us a birthday dessert or offer a discount! One of the things that made Jin unique was their grill setup--it cooked the egg and corn cheese differently from other KBBQ spots, and that really stood out to us. They also changed their combo options, and my friends and I always used to get the beef combo, so it's a little disappointing to see those changes. Lastly, they got rid of the radish paper, which honestly feels like a staple at KBBQ. While the renovations are beautiful, I don't think it was worth losing some of the little details that made Jin BBQ stand out in the first place.

This is by far the BEST Korean BBQ restaurant I have EVER been to. My previous favorite KBBQ used to be Gen Korean BBQ House, but they have been a massive let down as of lately. This is 100% my new go to KBBQ spot. Extremely affordable pricing for the quality and selection of food you get. $31 per person for all you can eat KBBQ, and for an additional $5 you can add all you can hot pot to that. There is an unlimited and free snack bar that has a bunch of different sides (my favorite being the gyoza), and there are even free deserts there too (all phenomenal and highly recommended). There is also a sauce bar that has I think close to almost 20 different sauces to pick and choose from. All of the food was extremely fresh and amazing. The restaurant was extremely clean, the atmosphere was amazing, and the music from the DJ wasn't too loud but you could still hear it while holding normal conversations which was very nice. This was also the first time I have ever gone to a Korean BBQ restaurant where you would order with an iPad. It made it so easy to look through all of the options on their menu and choose exactly how many orders of each food item you wanted! I think by far the best part of the experience had to come from my server Jake. Jake was extremely attentive and hospitable. Every single time my drink was about half full, he would notice and asked if I would like a refill (which every time I indeed need a refill as I was going to finish the rest of my soda very quickly). He explained everything about the place and the menu in great detail, and even made a ton of amazing recommendations for food. I have never had hot pot before, so he was even able to provide a great description of what each of the broths tasted like so that I could figure out which one of those would be my preferred broth (which ended up being his recommendation of the Golden Chicken broth). Any time we needed something from him, he was there and we never had to wait long for him to come back either. To make things even better than it could have been already, I actually took my mom here on her birthday because she said she wanted to eat Korean BBQ. I had spent a ton of time researching new places to go to since Gen BBQ was no longer a place I would visit, and so I was extremely relieved when I learned they were open today. My brother had arrived a bit before my mom and I did, and he told us that unfortunately they cannot do anything for birthdays unless you are a party of 4. This was a bit unfortunate, but obviously didn't ruin anything for us since we were never expecting it to begin with. Towards the end of our dinner though, Jake came out with several other staff holding this massive LED sign and a slice of cheesecake to sing a special happy birthday! I have a video of it but could not upload it as I can only upload images, but it truly was such a great surprise! If you get Jake as your server, just know you are in great hands and can expect an amazing experience! I am a strong believer that tipping culture is ridiculous and you genuinely have to work to earn a tip. I'll say Jake GENUINELY earned that tip, I have rarely experienced the type of service and attention that he provided and I do not think I could have gotten a better server than him whatsoever. 10/10 experience 10/10 food 10/10 atmosphere 10/10 worth the money 11/10 if you get Jake as your server Side note: Please disregard Teresa A's wrongful 1* review. Not only did they not even eat at the restaurant, but they gave this place a 1* review simply because they were not opened on the predicted opening day. After speaking with the owner, he explained that they tried to do a test run before opening (because who in their right mind would not want to test everything works?) and after turning all the grills in the restaurant on, all the circuits were popped. This is a completely justified reason for not opening on the originally planned opening day, as they need to ensure everything will be perfect for the consumers. On top of that, I was frequently checking yesterday to see if they were open because I really wanted to bring my mom here for her birthday and knew if they were open yesterday, they would definitely be open today. Google Maps quite literally showed that KPOT was "Temporarily Closed" when I looked it up. I would understand a 1* review for a bad experience, but not for the restaurant having to do emergency maintenance before opening. read more

I am beyond disappointed to write this, especially since we have been frequent regulars here, but our latest experience was absolutely unacceptable. What used to be a go-to spot has completely gone downhill. The issues started immediately with the service and cleanliness. The restrooms were filthy, and the service was incredibly disorganized. The food took forever to arrive, and we weren't even given basic ladles or bowls for our hotpot--we had to track our waiter down just to get the essentials. We also had to ask twice just to get our grill changed out. To make matters worse, they tried to overcharge us for drinks that were clearly ordered during happy hour. When we pointed it out, the attitude didn't improve. Then, despite there being at least 15 open tables and only one person waiting at the front, our waiter told us that we've hit a "2-hour limit" and relayed that the manager asked us to leave because people were waiting. It's not okay that they interrupted our meal prior to the 2 hour limit to give us the check and asked us to pay - we should've been given the full 2 hours to enjoy our meal. Had the service not been so slow, had our waiter been more attentive and had we not have to stop eating to dispute the bill that was brought to our table prematurely, the 2 hours limit wouldn't have been an issue. The most serious issue, however, was the food safety. All the "hot" appetizers--the egg rolls, fried shrimp, and fried chicken--were served cold. Unsurprisingly, our entire group ended up with food poisoning after this meal. This was a blatant violation of health regulations. It is ridiculous to treat loyal customers this way and it's never okay to disregard health regulations. We will be reporting this establishment to the appropriate health authorities. This is one establishment that we will not be coming back to and we'll be sure to let everyone we know to stay away as well. read more

Danny was such an amazing server. I had such an amazing experience at this KBBQ restaurant! Walked in expecting this place to be amazing like everyone had been saying! Nope it was quite literally the complete opposite. Servers need to actually know their tables and check up on them, found hair in my food! We asked our server to get another plate for us it took 40 minutes JUST FOR ONE PLATE. It's not even cooked why is it taking this long. Don't even bother asking for a manger, he's unprofessional, immature and doesn't know how to talk to customers correctly. Went in for Kpot this afternoon for lunch and Aryen was my server. UGHHH he was the best server I've ever had and he lowkey big. Dude definitely works out and the food i was eating was working me out as well because I got full fast. I had a mango tango which tastes so good and I love the concept of being able to eat hotpot and korean barbeque together. Will definitely be coming back and hope Aryen is my server again! The food was amazing! Didn't take too long for the servers to come by and check on us! They were really patient and kind to help us out with any questions we had! Danny was a great server! He helped a lot and was very very patient.
