Lots of shelves and books everywhere, but each shelf is home to specific categories of books, and there's LOTS of categories! Looking deeper at each collection, I was really impressed with the range of what I saw. I noticed these two super nice quality cookbooks and snagged them! I didn't realize at first, but the prices of the books seem to be marked in pencil on the first inside page or so, and I got a really good deal (imo!). I was in there for just a few minutes before the clerk/owner noticed me (he was busy in the back I think?) and turned on the AC and some cool music. :) That was appreciated, thank you!! I'll stop by again sometime. This feels like the place you should go to when you're not sure what you want, but you want a great price and rare find!!

For some reason the person on the phone was frustrated pretty quick. Once inside, the space was clean and spacious, but no music playing. Unfortunately, the selection felt pretty limited and not fully stocked, so there wasn't much to dig through this time. Cool shop overall, just not the vibe for me on this day.

While it's clearly a hotspot for K-pop merch, it was the photo booths that really won us over. Even though we aren't K-pop fans ourselves, it turned into such a fun family moment. I've always been nostalgic for photo booths and am always down to snap a picture, though the prop luck was definitely "unique"--I somehow ended up in an eggplant hat (and no, I'm not a d**khead!), while my poor wife got stuck with the poop emoji hat. It was all in good fun! It's a great spot to grab some quirky photos and browse through the latest K-pop swag.

The process felt impersonal, and the seller/owner was not particularly engaging. One example: I brought in a brand-new book that originally cost $40 and was offered only a $1 store credit. I understand used bookstores have to make a profit, but the experience left me feeling like my books would have been better off in a friend's library. Great place to browse and buy, but I would lower expectations if you're planning to sell.

The graduation was a few days out so I was pretty rushed to find a lei in time. I called in and spoke to the person (I think the name was Ronnie?) and they kindly informed me that they would have to see if they can make a yellow and green colored lei in time. They gave other colored options just in case the green and yellow was unavailable. After I got off the phone, they let me know the price (about $71) which needed to be paid before they can put the order in. I venmoed the money over and received a photo of the lei the day before graduation. I let her know that I will be in the morning of the graduation to pick it up and everything went smoothly! Communication was great, pick up time was easy and my cousin was thrilled with the lei! The price was a bit high though but the customer service was great!

There is a free public parking structure behind the store. Some of their blind boxes are slightly cheaper than same boxes at other similar collectible stores. The anime selection is above average and there's a giant Capsule Corp background (from Dragon Ball) and a giant Luffy figure (from One Piece) to take pictures with. The One Piece trading card vending machine was out of service at the time of my visit. This is one of those stores that is great to at least stop by for those who are into anime or Sanrio plushies. Personally, I still prefer Ebisu Life Store a bit better. P.S. - Due to limited availability of pennies, cash totals are rounded to the nearest $0.05.

I can't say much for the cost, a bit pricey for me, but I'm used to dirt cheap Japanese Mercari Visual Kei and J-rock prices. Staff welcomed us in when we were there and had smiles on their faces, despite the heat of the summer. It gets SUPER hot in here and they have some fans, but if they even have AC, it's very, very weak.

I believe that these may be the same people who did Hot Pot Penjing based on their Instagram. Not just regular figures. They have those huge, super detailed, scale figures with prices ranging from $300-1k+ If you are a big One Piece, DBZ, or Demon Slayer fan, this this the place for you. Lots of huge statues for these series. In addition to these statues, there are some fancier figures, Nesoberis ($35 which is the standard price), and some playmats of various series. I'm not super big into most shonen series (as a non-casual lmao), but they did have some bigger Fate series items like Formal Craft Rin and a Scathach figure. Would like to see some smaller scale figures here from other series too. Regardless, it's a fun place to check out if you are an anime fan!
