These pictures were taken on a Saturday and the attendance here was abysmal. Hemet Valley Mall is a reminder of how city officials have failed the citizens of this town and refuse to bring in and support new businesses. The city said they would put a second story, never happened. They also said they'd build a new iteration of this mall a couple miles away, never happened. Here we are years later and nothing has improved nor happened. It's a damn shame that this mall was remodeled as some of the last surviving businesses NEED support but the city is not given these hard workers the time of day. The main businesses that are popping are Hobby Lobby, Magic Brow, Hot Topic, and JCPenney, that's it. Yes, not even Claire's is bringing people in. Years ago, when people still had hope in expanding or getting a "new mall" this mall was pretty busy... not anymore. It's depressing coming in here and the fact that malls are on their way out in certain parts of America, doesn't help this awful situation. I will never totally hate on this mall as I've had good times during community college here and it's super clean. The restrooms here are a lifesaver! If you're in Hemet I will not discourage coming as there's businesses to be supported. However, I want to be honest with you about the current climate of this mall. Oh and you can find good deals every so often!

This Marshall's however has a crap tone of wicker box organizers. Surrounding areas like MoVal or Murrieta have way better selections. All I ask is to kick it up.

I walked in today to see if anything has changed and it's exactly the same as five years ago. There's creepy western mannequins lurking in dark corners and the lights are off. One lonely soul was taking his break from his shift at the barber shop outside, it was so dark I almost ran into him! The Farmer's Corner is a relic out of time, it's a staple of SJ's culture that needed an update 20 years ago. That being said, I do suggest visiting the businesses outside (the only businesses) like The Good Egg, Gentlemen's Parlor, etc. and the Weekend Farmer's Market. I hear people get good deals at these businesses and there's plenty of food and services provided.

I always think she's the only employee that works as a cashier because every time I go in there, she's the only one working the register. HEMET IS a Senior Community. So it's a really big bummer to have to stand and wait in long lines, when you are older and have aches and pains! I would like for once, to walk into the store and there be a miracle that there is more than just one person working the register!!! But it hasn't happened yet!! and no, I will not use the self check out, I'm not an employee. I believe they're hoping that people just use self check out so that they don't have to hire more employees, but it's not gonna happen with me. Either way KUDOS to Adrianna she is an incredible employee and a true asset to Ross. She seems to really enjoy serving the customers and is always smiling, it's really too bad that no one comes out and helps her on another register. If you did not know about this, I hope to highlight the main reason I believe this to be a factor in the breaking point of a design flaw in Walmart's Gas station placement/location, protocols for traffic flow and lack of attentive security at this particular location. Major efforts have been placed at San Jacinto Walmart to prevent theft, yet a large concern for the community is safety and should be more concerning to Walmart's team. Other businesses in the surrounding San Jacinto area are concerned for the safety of their employees and customers as well. There have been several incidents over the years not just with Walmart. Many people in this town, who have cars, turn into monsters where inconvenienced. That Gas Station parking lot is poorly designed. Walmart should have bought the plot right next to or behind itself to place the gas station or request the city put a 4 way stop on Commonwealth for everyone's safety. This is not personal opinion; these are eye witness accounts from 1st person observations at location #5425.  The gas attendants are clearly unsafe. Should they get involved they could get hurt or have theft by breech when exiting the building. There should be 1 security there at all times and traffic cones or dividers to separate traffic.
