It's the vibe obviously these vendors enjoy what they do. I love coming here every week!

The clasp came apart about 2 weeks after purchasing it. I asked to exchange and Steve the manager/owner said for $10.00 I could. I told him I didn't want to spend more money and The same thing possibly happen again. He told me he wouldn't exchange it. I even asked if I could get a basic case, not a wallet one so I could get something for the $25.00. He said no he wasn't giving me anything for "free." I told him that was messed up, that I shop there all the time and the woman worker knows me. He stopped talking to me and picked up the phone when I was showing him how the clasp was obviously a defect. He actually called security on me! Lol. Security was really nice, and was very sympathetic. I asked Steve one last time to help me out and he just Ignored me, he wouldn't even look at me. He was really rude. So I just want others to be aware of their no exchanges policy, even if you get a defected case. Bummer, now I'm out $25.00 and no case. Guess shopping locally and helping small businesses isn't all it's cracked up to be. I will definitely go back to the mall, just won't be spending my money at Mimi's cell zone.

Grocery shopping can be found at Target, Aldis, Baron's Market, or Ralph's on Antelope Rd. There's just too many businesses for me to list! If this shopping area didn't exist i don't know what i'd do!

Without hesitation, I'd call Countryside Marketplace the equivalent of DJ in Irvine. While there…read moreare a good variety of shops and eateries here, the craziness of trying to get in and out from the hot mess better known as Haun Road is NOT the business. The roundabout entrance from Haun can be a hit or miss situation. There are always those drivers who are in a rush, texting, or just don't bother looking to see if it's clear. Then you sometimes have to deal with the ones who just don't know how a roundabout works at all (oh yes, they're out there)! Both are annoying af to say the least. The parking lot outside Bushfire Kitchen, Crumbl, Panda Express, etc. could have been spread out more. Be careful turning those tight corners because some people make wide ass turns. I've come close to being sideswiped a few times from dummy drivers who don't pay attention, smh. Stalls seem to be slimmer in that lot compared to the rest of the Marketplace, too. The Target store forever runs out of stuff, and the Starbies inside never really gets the new merch. If they do, they don't get a lot so whatever it is sells out fast. TJ Maxx and Home Goods usually have decent things, and if you're a techie, there's a Best Buy here. =) Burlington is one of the newcomers, but it doesn't seem like they're getting a lot of love. If you're hangered, there's Red Robin, In n Out, Miguel's, Hana Sushi, Bushfire Kitchen, and a few others to choose from. Better Buzz is supposedly coming soon to the old Starbucks location, but it's moving at a snail's pace. It's a good place to get shopping done, but I'd recommend coming during non peak times. You'll want to avoid the nuisance of hitting all the red lights on Haun. Have at it!

Several local artisans had their works for sale and there were zero food vendors, definitely not what I expected. The barn itself which has room for shops, is empty, dark and totally neglected. The barn is supposed to have SHOPS! There's no selection! What's even weirder is that SJ's Weekend Farmer's Market is outside in the parking lot adjacent to the buffet in the surrounding area rather than IN the Farmer's corner. I walked in today to see if anything has changed and it's exactly the same as five years ago. There's creepy western mannequins lurking in dark corners and the lights are off. One lonely soul was taking his break from his shift at the barber shop outside, it was so dark I almost ran into him! The Farmer's Corner is a relic out of time, it's a staple of SJ's culture that needed an update 20 years ago. That being said, I do suggest visiting the businesses outside (the only businesses) like The Good Egg, Gentlemen's Parlor, etc. and the Weekend Farmer's Market. I hear people get good deals at these businesses and there's plenty of food and services provided.

He was polite. Then I stopped to ask a few different employees in produce where to find a whole watermelon; then another employee in produce where to find sweet potatoes. All 3 employees were helpful. Went I went to checkout I asked the employee about the process for using an eGift Card. She asked if I needed help. She placed and processed my items in the checkout.
