I finally got a chance to come by and show support to this local business that was robbed again not too long ago. So very sad. Everything here is local. I got to meet Elizabeth, who was just the sweetest thing ever! I ended up purchasing a large bottle of blackberry honey and two bags beef jerky. I love how this place is out in the open, and they allow people to set up stalls/tents like a mini farmers market. I may start bringing my eggs and homemade goods up here myself. The Washburn Ranch has been in the Hemet Valley for many years. Thanks to their enticing Facebook posts showing the amazing fruits and vegetables they had to offer is how I became aware of them.I had to stop by to support local farmers. Doug and Nick were friendly and very helpful at the stand. The stand is very cute, and all of the produce is presented nicely with labels and organized well.We bought avocados, tomatoes, plums, cherry tomatoes, apples, watermelon, and patty pan squash. I was intrigued with the patty pan as I had never tasted it before. Thankfully, they gave us tips on how to cut it up and mix it in with a roast in the slow cooker. We loved the patty pan! I am thinking about how great it would taste in a fall soup! Yum! Washburn Ranch also sells honey and other food related products/gifts. Love the vine ripe tomatoes and tree ripe peaches! Zucchini and cucumbers are my faves too.

We come to this place almost every week, they have the freshest produce at prices equal to and sometimes below the grocery store. Their tomatoes and eggplant make great pasta sauce, and their avocados especially are way better than typical grocery store. Worth the drive! read more

We purchased our pumpkins from here for Halloween. We got to go out and pick them from the field. They supply the clippers and the wheel barrow. So many to choose from and at a great price. We also purchased our potted Christmas tree from here. 7-9 foot for an even $100. We would have paid the same for a Home Depot tree that would just dry out. We were happy to support a small business and the owner is the sweetest. read more

I really love the setting, the produce, the people and the chickens close by. Haven't been there in several months due to traveling, but looking forward to taking my 8-yr. old granddaughter there again tomorrow, if they are open.
